From I-75 take Exit 101. Go West on US 280 W. Continue 24 miles. KOA Journey Entrance at 1655 is on the Right. From US 19 take US 280 East. Go thru downtown Americus and continue on US Hwy 280 East 8 miles. KOA Journey (aka Brickyard Plantation RV Park) entrance is on the Left at 1655. Enter Here. Follow the long driveway until you come to the Night Registration. Stop There Either the Park Host will greet you and escort you to your site or if it is after hours look for a yellow bag with your last name posted on the night registration sign to find your site information.

Beautiful downtown Americus is just 8 miles away. It offers a great downtown area with local shopping and eating establishments. Americus is located two and a half hours south of Atlanta via US Highway 19, the Magnolia Highway. While agriculture has long been the driving force of the county's economy, Sumter County's historical past is attracting tourists. Tourism is the newest industry in the area. The Americus – Sumter Tourism Welcome Center is located adjacent to the historic Windsor Hotel. The story of SAM (Savannah, Americus & Montgomery) Railway illustrates New South boom and bust in Georgia during the 1880s and 1890s. Providence Canyon State Park is a 1,003 acres (4.06 km2; 1.57 sq mi) state park located in Stewart County in southwest Georgia. The park contains Providence Canyon, which is sometimes called Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon". It is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. Providence Canyon actually is not a purely natural feature — the massive gullies (the deepest being 150 feet) were caused by erosion due to poor farming practices in the 19th century.
