Its all about Golf.........
Traditional golf played on an 18 hole regulation golf course basically right out the front door of your RV. We have two 9 hole courses. The Mounds course and the Waters course with each having 3 to 5 par holes. The peaceful and serene course is perfect for locals and campers both wanting to enjoy the beauty of this Brickyard Plantation.
Foot Golf is played on a golf course by kicking a soccer ball to the 21" cup buried into the ground. We offer 9 holes and soccer balls are available in the General Store or bring your own. Foot Golf is a sport combining soccer and golf and originated in the Netherlands with the first organized 9-hole tournament held in 2008.
18 Hole Disc Golf course. Great sport for kids of all ages including parents and grandparents. Stocked Proshop is in the General Store featuring Innova, MVP, Discraft, Gateway, Grip and more. Disc golf (often called "Frisbee golf") is a flying disc sport played with rules similar to traditional golf. Instead of hitting a ball with a club into a hole, players throw specialized aerodynamic discs toward a target, which is typically a metal basket with hanging chains.
Catch and Release fishing is allowed in several of the ponds on the property. We have bass, bream and catfish. Plus the occasional alligator swimming in the ponds.
We are a very "walker" friendly property. We have grass fairways on the golf courses and paved walking trail around a pond.
Enjoy a game of ping pong upstairs in the recreation area which is located in the General Store & Golf Shop. Open during office hours.
Enjoy the playground located near the Kamp K9 dog park. The playground has nice white sand with swings, slide, and a climbing wall. Nestled nicely under some trees for shade.
Full size Pool Table upstairs in the recreation area. Ask the front desk for more information. Available during office hours.
The game of Horseshoe is a lawn game where players toss horseshoes at stakes, aiming to score points by landing them close or encircling the stake. Played with two stakes 40 feet apart, players pitch underhand, scoring 1 point for a close shoe (leaner) and 3 points for a ringer (encircling the stake), with opposing ringers canceling out. Games typically go to 21 or 40 points, with the first to reach the score and lead by two winning the match.
