The sites are large and very level. There was no pool, and we did not take advantage of the disc golf since we were there for the Jimmy Carter NHS and Andersonville NHS. Beautiful countryside and extremely friendly and helpful camp hosts! The gnats were out in throngs, but that’s southern GA in August.

Debra and Charlie are the best.. we have been going to the Brickyard for many years and it has only improved since it became a KOA

Wonderful visit! Beautiful and clean facilities. Accommodating and friendly staff. Thank you to Deborah, Nancy and Nancy's sweet husband(sorry I have forgotten his name), for making us feel like family. Looking forward to returning in the Fall.

Great place!! Staff was super friendly & accommodating. The camp host went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. I was very impressed with how well maintained and clean the campground appeared.

Very well kept, spacious for big rig, nice clean roomie bathhouses... simple nice gym n warsh rooms. Very helpful host. Great prices. Great staff. Thank you

Outstanding weekend. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Facilities were clean and everything was operational. My family had a great time and we will revisit as soon as we can.

Billy was a great host and very helpful in getting us to our site. It is a great facility to take the family for a weekend of golf, fishing or to just get away. Thanks for our short stay at your Plantation!

Nice facility, well run, nice people, provided free 4th of July cookout and music for everyone, nice Golf Course , Golf Professional on site for instruction. Would revisit if in the area.

One of the friendliest KOA parks we have ever encountered, as full-time RVers. Host Billy and Nancy Martin went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We will return, for sure!

This is a camping trip we will be talking about for months! We cannot day enough good things about this KOA. KOA Americus offers spacious sites, clean bathhouse, friendly staff, and well taken care of grounds!

Billy and his wife were amazing. They were so helpful and thoughtful! They even gave our family their personal fans and bug spray to protect us from the crazy gnats. Thank y’all for being so kind!

pro's big grass site. con's no wifi at sites, no cable at sites, house for wifi&cable to hot noa/c, don't think restroom were cleaned the 4 days we stayed, nats so bad you could not be out side.

The staff was fantastic - friendly & helpful. But the park was disappointing. Driveway gravel had deep holes filled with water. The rec bldg (the only place with wifi) wasn't air conditioned in the 90-degree heat... and there was NO wifi there - the site did not come up on my phone or tablet. Site was fine - fairly level, great hookups; no frills. No pool. I expect more from a KOA for the price.

Bath house was exceptionally clean & roomy. Free wi-fi available only at a designated building with a 20-minute limit. No cable; only 5 antenna stations. Gravel road to park needs major repair--multiple pot holes, two of which were very deep & covered 90% of the road.

Loved it but not all the bugs. (We don't usually travel in June so are not use to so many bugs!) They could use a pool for families but otherwise a great park.

Ok, park host was very nice, but there were no concrete pads, no cable, and no WiFi at site. Also, the gravel road was in disrepair with large mud puddles everywhere. I would not choose to stay there again.

We loved our short stay. Camp ground is beautiful- well maintained. Best KOA we have camped at. Camp host was fabulous- she meet us as we pulled in. Lots of room in between sites- level. Free golf when you camp there. Nice course- I wish I had my clubs with me. And tons of area to walk. The owner, who is working hard to make this KOA a destination stop, was super nice as well.

Visited Plains&POW museum/military cemetery.Your Park was excellent from reservation,reception on arrival & during our stay.Highly recommend to anyone.

The Host at the Americus KOA was very rude. On 6/1/2018. I was approx 5 miles over the speed limit due to trying to get my wife back to the RV to use the bathroom due to her medical condition. As I was driving in the park the host started waving her hand and screaming at the top of her to stop, and told her I had to get my wife to the bathroom.

Thank you for the feedback and comment. Unfortunately speeding is a problem and the Park Host was doing her job. We are sorry you were offended but we have addressed the situation and hope this will not deter you from returning again.

The staff at this KOA are nothing short of outstanding.... friendly, helpful, and informative. What an oasis!! 27 hole REAL golf course ON PREMISES!!! Unbelievable... I will go back and stay longer!!! Steve Zuffoletti

Beautiful campground, wide sites, easy check in, very sweet staff. Didn't use any of the services(i.e. golf, paddle boats, laundry, bathroom) busy touring.

Great surprise to have such spacious wide flat pull thrus with privacy and views. Would be 5star rating if not for the big pot holes. Big rigs hate big holes. Just an hour on a tractor would fix it. But looks like they have been there a while.

Debra and Tom are wonderful owner operators and this is a beautiful campground with big spaces. Ask for a space under the trees. This use to be the Brickyard RV and golf resort. Golf is free for RV guests. I hope to return someday, really enjoyed my stay at Americus. Americus is a cute little town with great main street, shops and resturants. Home to Habitate for Humanity.

Lovely place with disc golf, ball golf and foot golf, Ms Sharon was so kind and pleasant when we showed up. We will be back for sure.

Clean, quiet, & comfortable RV park. Large, pull-thru sites. Clean restrooms, laundry, & work-out area. Free golf, disc golf, & foot-golf during your visit. Small playground & dog park area. Catch & release fishing. Paddle boats & horse shoes. All around a wonderful experience very close to Plains, Americus, & don't miss the Rural Georgia Telephone Museum in Leslie; a great little treasure! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.
