Although our stay was the day after heavy rains, our site was dry and grounds were clean and staff was friendly.

Great park and people. Enjoyed playing golf on the mounds course (the waters course was aptly named with the large amounts rain). Frisbe golf is becoming big, and catching on in the local area. We will be back.

The grounds were mowed. The bathrooms were old but adequate. The interface with staff was limited because of the Coronavirus... but friendly and cordial. No trees. Full timers carving out their own roads. It was advertised as being a new KOA... but it is old and only a new member.

We enjoyed the disc golf. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice people. Big wide sites. Fun golf course. My only complaint is the shower head that sprays a very fine mist in a hollow cone - hard to get wet or rinse.

We stayed here for 1 week, we had planned to stay for longer, we had to shorten our stay as a result of necessity to return to Canada due to the Covid 19 virus situation. I found this campsite to be excellent in all respects, the Manager, Debra and camp hosts Sharon and Don are really nice people and always ready to help out with requests. We loved the location, the golf course and bathhouse!

Nice park. Clean and off the beaten path. A couple of wet/muddy spots in one of the interior roads. Affiliated golf course is fair but the course was not a reason we chose that location. The disk golf and foot golf courses are another good perk.

The staff was great...especially at this challenging time of COVID-19. Very helpful, gracious, and understanding. Hats off to them for their great efforts.

Everyone was very nice and very helpful.

you need to repair your roads, huge , deep ruts....when it rains the water becomes a real issue...

A very easy place to access, owner and staff are extremely pleasant and helpful We will definitely visit again

The park was not up to the standard we have experienced throughout all our KOA stays. Roads need more upkeep, due to the extremely high amount of water. We were in a pull through but I had to back out avoiding trees because too many low branches were in front of our rig. They would have scraped the rig up. NoI didn't bring this issue to the parks attention as I figured I could backup.

Very nice - a little wet due to all of the rain from the last week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice get together on Friday evening. Thanks

Fire pit was full of trash. Large mud holes in the driveway. Looked like several long term residents in the park.

this was the third time at americus. everything was as it should be. neat, clean and friendly.

Our site and stay were satisfactory. However, our traveling partners were required to park ina site that had a very muddy entrance. There were other dry free sites, however, the camp attendant would not move them. Thought that was a little unnecessary.

Deborah the night/weekend check in person was the nicest KOA associate I have ever dealt with. Friendly and knowledgeable she gave us recommendations of things to do in the area and some interesting facts about the campgrounds. Best KOA experience I have had!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They served our rally group pancakes one morning for breakfast. We had a good time even though it was raining and muddy almost the entire time we were there.

The park has nice settings, long and wide pull throughs. Had lots of rain so the roads were in bad but they were grading and fixing the roads and doing wverything to make it better.

Rally Camping! Met 13 other rigs here from our camping group for a rally. Accommodations were great - full hook-ups and pull thru sites. Hayes House accommodated our group easily. Staff here welcoming and informative. Even cooked a pancake breakfast one morning!

Great campground! It is getting even better with improvements they are making.

i realize it had been an extreme amount of rain prior to our arrival, and I am trying to be fair nd ignore all the mud and waterholes in the drive. this campground is one of the poorest in which we have stayed! we have driven to each of the 48 contingent states in the last four years and have started over and have been to 26 this time around. Overall I give it a 2 (1-10)!

It rained ! Was not able to enjoy the outside world during our stay. Staff were very friendly. They waited for us at the entrance and after parking us took me to the office and returned me to the camper.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST KOA EXPERIENCE AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. EVERYONE WAS REALLY NICE AND WELCOMING. THE CAMP SITES WERE VERY SPACIOUS AND QUIET. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH.

Park roadways need improvement. Rain drainage needs improvement in some areas. Quiet, peaceful park. Nice group activities.
Feb 14, 2020
Worked well for our stay near Americus with close proximity to Andersonville, Jimmy Carter Historical Sites, and other points of interest in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, large full hookup pull thrus, golf/frisbee golf, dog friendly. Road needed maintenance after heavy rains

It has a really nice bathhouse and laundry. Everything was a bit muddy, but there had been torrential rains. Host was super nice. Got a KOA notepad and pen from the host, which we have never gotten before, but made the stay extra special. Our only complaint is that Apple Maps and Goggle both took us to the wrong place about 6 miles away, so they might want to see how they can fix that.

The rain was our only problem that kept us off the golf course. Staff is always friendly and our go to campground being a snow bird from the Northeast.

Unbelievably fantastic hospitality- great amenities. Hope we can return soon

Short but great visit, only there three nights. Wonderful hosts sponsored a get together around the fire ring - made us feel very welcome. Golf course is FREE and was challenging but fun. If we venture back this way, we will be sure to stop in again!

Clean, quiet, & comfortable RV park. Large, pull-thru sites. Clean restrooms, laundry, & work-out area. Free golf, disc golf, & foot-golf during your visit. Small playground & dog park area. Catch & release fishing. Paddle boats & horse shoes. All around a wonderful experience very close to Plains, Americus, & don't miss the Rural Georgia Telephone Museum in Leslie; a great little treasure! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.
