we stayed for a fall rally with Georgia camping clubs from all over the state. This campground was perfect for this! Quiet, clean, staff very friendly and accommodating, immaculately kept grounds, golf course, disc golf course, firepit area, and a 3 sided wrap around porch around the clubhouse, which was utilized greatly as the weather was perfect for camping!

Last ones to check in, lot assigned had no picnic table and no reception for tv. Wifi not working etc.

No gravel on most sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a nice campground for the price.

Had.a great time once again. Played golf and disc golf with the family. Everything was great. Ms Deborah was very accommodating and wonderful. Highly recommend this KOA

Overall ok site, very quiet, you are basically on a fairway. Good pull though sites. Roads on site need some work. Great place to stay to visit Plains and Andersonville. Not that private.

Stay was great. I would like to see maybe a row of paved lots. Also need the driveway paved. Very dusty going in and out. Staff is great as always.

Our time here was brief, but it was a fantastic experience. We were greeted in a timely manner and escorted to our spot within minutes of our arrival. We had no problems hooking up. The staff was very friendly. It was one of the cleanest KOA's we've been to. We will be back, and stay longer! Thanks!

We only stayed for one overnight, so we did not get to experience all this campground had to offer. But it was a very nice place for an overnight stop.

The staff was friendly. Rest rooms clean. No Cable, but decent over the air channels. Damp cut grass clings to everything - shoes, hoses, ...

location was perfect to the businesses but far enough away to feel secluded. the campground was laid out well. site not too close together. beautiful scenery with the golf course. very friendly staff. bathhouse was very clean. pot holes need to be taken care of though. also our site which as C6 was practically underwater after a heavy rain and it appeared to be the only one that was that bad.

Quiet, off the beaten path and if you golf you're going to be happy. Base for a couple days to tour some historic sites in the area (Andersonville and Plains). No swimming pool which is a bummer. Nice lady running things.

Nice facility. Neat and clean. Had fun playing horseshoes and disk golf with the grandchildren. Sites are adequate but most have no shade. No fire rings except on one row. Sites are gravel and are very level. Easy pull throughs. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Sites were long and wide. Free golf was a bonus even though the course wasn’t great—still, free golf! Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Americus KOA in our class A motor home. If you are looking for a quiet, easy access out of the way campground with very large grassy sites then this is the KOA for you. They even have a golf course. Located very near to the Andersonville Confederate prison site as well as Plains, GA home of former president Jimmy Carter.

Our stay was lovely! The grounds, restrooms and other areas were very clean. We enjoyed meeting other campers. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The weekend was very relaxing and the camp was peaceful and quiet. We hope to visit again to play golf, horseshoes and go out in a paddleboat!

The parking areas were okay. However, the roadways into and out of the campground need a lot of attention. The pot holes were terrible and it rained which made the pot holes full of water. You are talking about large holes. The house that is used for social gatherings could have been much cleaner.

Loved the beautiful view, everyone was sooo nice clean laundry the only downfall was the red ant mounds everywhere really bad and roachs I think because we were under the trees and in the sand. We would definetly stay again and hopefully golf this time. Beautiful views! Nice quiet park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lady we dealt with in the office and golf shop was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed every minute up until it was time to leave. We will definitely return.

We had a great time at the campground. The spaces were easy to navigate. The disc golf course was great and the owner was delightful. We will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my stay at the Americus KOA. Being a manager at another KOA a few recommendations. Please spray for ants at your sites. Think about having staff round the park after a guest checks in to ensure they have everything they need. Place a few more trash cans throughout the site area to help provide more convenience for your campers. Overall a great stay!

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure escorting you to the site and then checking on you the next morning, I wish you had told me about the ants then, and I would have taken care of the issue. Being a small park with just 48 sites, one dumpster has been adequate. Thank you.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the spacing between sites. Everything was very clean and well kept, including the clubhouse, office/store, and restrooms. Not only is there an 18 hole golf course, but also an 18 hole frisbee golf course! Can't wait to try it on our next visit, and there will be plenty of visits.every year.

I was there for only one day, sites in the middle were big with all grass sites my only complaint is gnats in the summer months, In Winter months would be A beautiful place to stay!!!!! Which I will be doing this winter!!!

I loved it there! It's out in the countryside for a truly peaceful and relaxing stay. There are ponds and acres of trees and grass. I really felt refreshed staying here. Debra and her family are the best. I brought my first RV here and everything was perfect, clean and inviting. You will love it as much as I did.

A good stop over site in SW Georgia where there’s not much but farms. Very clean, nice staff, but flies and especially gnats are fierce.

The staff is amazingly friendly. The grounds are kept very well. The amenities arent anything fancy but that's not why.youre camping so it's perfect.

"Kampgrounds" or 'trailer park' ? Our site: 1. right at the entrance, got to hear all the 'residents' go to work on mon. morning. 2. right in the open blazing sun, 94 deg., the 'residents' all had the shaded sites. NOOOO thanks !

Lovely place with disc golf, ball golf and foot golf, Ms Sharon was so kind and pleasant when we showed up. We will be back for sure.

Clean, quiet, & comfortable RV park. Large, pull-thru sites. Clean restrooms, laundry, & work-out area. Free golf, disc golf, & foot-golf during your visit. Small playground & dog park area. Catch & release fishing. Paddle boats & horse shoes. All around a wonderful experience very close to Plains, Americus, & don't miss the Rural Georgia Telephone Museum in Leslie; a great little treasure! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.
