Not really as conveniently located as I was expecting. The check in person was really not very friendly. My site had no sewer. All in all, it was just average.

This is a very nice campground with friendly staff, decently sized, level sites, and many amenities. The road noise is a detriment to a really great experience. We were passing through on our way home, so it was fine.

Very nice campground. Will definitely stay there again. Lots of things to do

Stayed twice during this road trip. Also stayed on 10/15. One of the best KOA sites my wife and I have enjoyed. Clean and well-stocked store!

We usually stop at this KOA while traveling north and south, it's usually an ok place to rest up a couple of days. This year there were several ATV vehicles next to us..... coming and going to the trails? Too dusty and too noisy!! Also, it appears most of the smaller plants are dead, and left standing makes it look run down.

We like the campground. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was that the sewer connection in site 33 was so far forward that we had to use all our sewer hoses to dump the bathroom tanks, and we still couldn’t reach our kitchen tank on our 27-foot 5th wheel

It’s an oasis in the desert. We only stayed one night but were pleasantly surprised. Wifi, other utilities worked well. The woman who checked us in was very nice. Grounds pretty. Shade in the desert is lovely.

Passing through on the way home. Check in was easy and the place was not too busy. A little bit out of the way but not a big deal. Pool was closed and no beer or wine for sale at the store.

Very nice KOA and close enough to visit the Calico Ghost Town!

We were just overnight but would definitely go there again. People and park were very nice.

Very good location, easy to access. Great WiFi connection. The RV site was flat and easy to hookup!

Perfect for an overnight stay. Very friendly staff, well-stocked camp store that was clean and tidy, and very clean restrooms. We had a pull-through site that was plenty long and fairly level. Campground was well-maintained. We’d definitely stop here again.

Adequate facility. Cranky dismissive staff. No propane. Disappointed.

We really enjoyed it. Very clean facility.

We just stayed overnight, the staff were great, several amenities. Our site did have some shade, it looked like several sites had shade. A large dog area.

Very nice park.

We had the best time at KOA Campground. The only thing that might have mad it better would have been to try the swimming pool. But it was too cold. We will be back next year,

We would not come back based on the Halloween decorations. They are not family friendly. There is a man being hung in a noose with blood all over him in a KOA shirt right by the front door and next to the kids playground. This is not appropriate. Amenities need some upkeep. Archery bows and arrows were broken and jump pad was disgusting. The maintenance people were very nice though.

The sewer at my site doesn’t work!!! First over flowed and after same “solids” was floating on the surface of the pipe and remain there almost to the top… never happened to me before. That campground is good to stop for the night going north to Vegas and Utah (visiting also Calico ghost town)

Very well-kept park, and it has some shade. Showers are clean with good water pressure. There is some noise from Interstate 15, but not bad. Location is convenient for overnight stay as well as destination to see Calico ghost town and other area attractions. Appreciated the pull-through spots as I was traveling through. Park was very quiet during 10pm-8am. Seems to be kid/family friendly.

Great campground, clean and well-kept with friendly employees. Conveniently located to Calico Ghost Town, located right up against I-15, so traffic noise (they sell earplugs at the office, and we slept soundly the second night). Desert right out back for adventuring. Campsites are close together, but enough cedars and oleanders between to give privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location along HWY 40. This is our first stop when headed east from the Central Coast. Big Rig friendly pull through.

Great for us and our pets. Parked in the overflow circle which was very convenient.

We use it as a stopping point on our various travels. It is definitely rustic but natural for the desert location. Restrooms and showers are always clean. The staff is friendly and informative.

The staff have always been helpful. The sites have washed gravel with greatly reduces the dust in the park. We look forward to the day that the interior roads are paved.

Good place to stop traveling west!

We love the Barstow campground. It is clean, staff is very friendly, and sites are well kept. We especially love the patio sites and look forward to our stay at Barstow KOA when traveling.

Very enjoyable. Close to the highway and fuel stations. The grounds were clean and well maintained. A good park.

Conveniently located off I-15, we stay here overnight on our way to the west coast. Nice and friendly staff, large pull thru sites and full hook ups make this park a great stay. Make sure to grab breakfast at nearby Peggy Sue's diner before you hit the road.

We loved the privacy from the oleanders. The campsites were clean and easy to pull through . Laundry mat and showers were all in the same area. Great view of the mountains and great place. Good job KOA

Very friendly staff, nice clean facility.

Love KOA but this location is not up to KOA's Standard of excellence. 2 of the 3 showers did not work. One group of showers were closed. And they have warnings about the many oleander plants being poisonous to people and pets, so why have them on the property. Most were dead or dying. Needs some tender loving care.

A bit more attention to the bathroom plumbing would be good. A completely non-functioning shower but no warning or sign indicating such until the person is completely undressed and standing under the showerhead, and then has to get completely dressed again to go out and try the next shower.
