Have stayed here many times and enjoyed it, however this time was a major disappointment. Wife is handicapped and always requested a spot near restrooms. This time they put us as far away from all restrooms as possible in full sun. Made for a terrible stay! The staff admitted they did not see the special request and apologized, however they refused to try to find another site.

Easy to find, early checkin was allowed (thanks, it was 104 degrees!) This KOA is located very conveniently on my summer travels up to the northwest. Not all spots have shade. There are many spots with partial shade during the day. The only negative thing is that all the ther shrubs and vegetation really need water and attention. staff in office was rude---all plants were almost dead nothing was watered----rec room looked like a disaster---archery range was a mess---tent cabins were torn and a mess---- not a single thing there looked anything like the photos online---the place look BAD --- I didn't need to turn on my hot water because the water out of t he faucet water was hot enough I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK

Great overnight stay. Huge dog run. This is high plains so lot of dirt but there are trees between the spaces and it's a quiet park. Highly recommend it for a Barstow stay. Definitely in my file of places I would stay again. It was a bit high priced but then this summer everything is.

Quick overnight stay. Truck and traffic are loud by the road. Staff was super friendly. Did not use any amenities. Would recommend as a good overstay.

Understand it’s in the Desert. Pool was not taken care of and turned green. Had to be shocked so closed the day we are there. Over 100 degrees. Trees need to be trimmed at sites. Won’t return.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. We found it to be up to KOA standards. The staff was friendly. We would definitely use this campground in the future. The Burrells from Bogart Georgia ����������

Receptionist seemed to be having a bad day. Otherwise bathrooms were clean and the campground was quiet.

If you are justing passing through it is great. We stayed for a couple days when it was 108 and the pool was not open.

We travel late in the evenings. BARSTOW KOA has always had space for us. COURTEOUS and helpful.

Restrooms were dirty and outdated. It was obvious that no money was being put in to maintenance and upkeep.

Bathrooms were nice, but the cable was not working correctly. The plants were half dead along the campsites. The pool was closed with the temperature being 110 degrees!

Nice shade in a very hot place. We setup when it was 112, but at least this park had mature trees in many spots for much appreciated shade.

Very nice place, open area, quiet, shady spot for RV, and RV site mostly clean except dog poop at our site. Very nice staff waited for us passed midnight. The bathrooms could be cleaner. Need stricter enforcement on dog policy.

Single night. Camp sites were nice. Pool area had some gravel on pool deck snd in pool, but the pool was a wonderful relief from the heat. Women’s bathroom needed to be swept- had lots if tissue trash on the floor. And sadly, I never figured out to turn the shower handle after pushing the time button. I needed more instructions to figure out how to get water. I gave up snd went without a shower.

Really beautiful scenery. It was clean. The cabin we stayed in was nice but lacked basic supplies like paper towels and trash bags. Also, some more utensils, bbq utensils, a pot, pan, spatula, cutting knife would be nice in the kitchen area. The hot water went in and out in the shower and there was no drain plug to use for the tub so we could only take showers.

Was greeted by an unfriendly host. The camp is old dirty, broken down, absolutely no shade for many sites. No air conditioned space except swamp cooler in a dirty laundry room. 108 and the pool was closed, dirty, but being cleaned, host was checking ph levels. It finally opened but looked uninviting! An old washing machine drum in our site was a fire pit? Couldn’t leave fast enough!

Way to hot and there was no shade, and dusty every time anyone would drive by! Cable was not any good!

The park was in a very hot and dry area. They did have some of the only trees though. Everything was dirt or gravel. The bathrooms were clean enough and the office staff was friendly. We had a table and fire ring but it was too hot to enjoy any of it.

Normally when linen provided it comes with all the linen. The beds had no top sheet or a blanket

The campground was good. I appreciated how quiet it was, and my kids loved playing in the game room. The pool didn’t seem clean but the restrooms where good. My main problem was that it was way too hot but that’s my fault for booking a place in the desert Memorial Day weekend.

It was very hot and dusty. Our tv wouldn’t work and our awning couldn’t go out because there was a tree in the way. There was no outside table. The people were nice

It was Fantastic, we arrived late Thursday and they let my know the AC would be on. And it was nice in our Cabin. Every one was great there.

The only recommendation would be to have more showers. The lines were long to shower having to wait 45 min with small children.

We had a great stay here. Bathrooms and showers were kept very clean our entire stay so props to that. ��� Staff was very friendly. I’m going back again in July!!

Pull in sites ok. Location ok. Staff met us at late check in. Not sure of pool or big pillow condition. There ids a Store /office ��� Bad part: Vegetation looks dead. No grass anywhere. My dogs were miserable. Hot gravel to walk on everywhere. Vegetation should be watered, maybe grass patches in dog areas, next to campsites. Ok to stopover on way to Vegas.

Very low water pressure in showers, one stall no water at all. Shower stalls very small. Have stayed at this park many times and it is not being maintained very well . Trash in sites, safari tents ripped. Ac units on side of building rusting and falling apart. KOA Corporate better do something before it is beyond repair. Not good for KOA name

Its your basic KOA - hookups, near the interstate, clean. It was at about the 1/2 way point between 2 sites we wanted to visit. So, we stayed there, not because Barstow was a destination for us. Rather it cut a too-long drive into 2 acceptable length drives

The sewer dump connector needs work just a pipe coming out of the ground and the cable hook up is poorly done. A wire coming out of the ground. Poor signal probably due to water intrusion

Arrived 5/26/21 & told (incorrectly) that our reservation was for the next night. Registration employee was curt and factual. To her credit, she found a site for us (one w/o sewage connection but happy to have it). At our site, I went to my KOA app & found our KOA rez confirmation for 5/26! KOA Barstow messed up. No apology. Morning staff was equally sour and unfriendly. Miserable experience.
