Campground was very nice and the staff was very friendly. I should have read the campground description closer then I would have known there was no cable tv. I had assumed that this was standard at all KOAs. I know better now. WiFi was spotty at best and mostly nonexistent. Would have been a 10 and 5 had there been TV and decent WiFi.

We are sorry your stay was not a 5 & 10.As with all KOAs and all other campgrounds, if you do not let us know you have an issue we can not fix it for you. We have a brand new and free WiFi system. The camper that was in your spot for 4 days before you got there was streaming TV fine. Happy camping!

What a nice little campground! Owners are incredibly nice, and very helpful. Grounds are clean and well kept. Playground area could use some updating but it’s still in decent/useable shape. Location is perfect, 20 minutes to Belfast and less than an hour to Bar Harbor. Will definitely recommend, and will return in the future.

My stay with my Family was wonderful for 8 days and nights. Very clean, relaxing and accommodating. Very professional and helpful staff answered any questions that we had. They had a wonderful pool that my family and I swam in every night after a day hiking in Acadia National park. We would definitely stay there again. They also had laundry there which is nice having young kids.

Easy to get to, place was immaculate, and folks were super nice! Wish it were closer to Acadia but the extra distance was more than offset by the pleasant stay.

Amazing!! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The only thing I wish they had was a little shampoo/soap dispenser in the showers. But other than that...AMAZING!!

Wonderful, owners were great, love the service of thing being brought to our site. the only exception is when the owners leave, the girls dont keep things up like it should be, cleaning, noise, etc and pool closed very early

Perfect spot for a quiet weekend. The campground was clean, quiet, and the people working there were kind and helpful. We would certainly recommend this campground.

Very nice quiet small campground. Conveniently located, very well maintained. The only criticism would be the WiFi was not usable all the time but I guess you don't go camping for WiFi. The owners are on site and very involved and concerned with their operations. It's a very convenient location for midcoast Maine. Bar Harbor is 38 miles to the east, Camden is about 35 miles to the west.

We stayed for a night at the tent site, site was very clean. Staffs were very friendly, bathrooms were very clean. We loved the stay.

Wow,what a great campground.Level site ,nice location,quiet and blueberry ice cream to die for.The hosts were friendly and very helpful. It was worth the 13 hour drive and we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.Your KOA has become one of our favorites.

We were so excited that we could come a day early and we love the same spot! Everyone is so friendly like a big family. We throughly enjoyed the new ice cream and pizza stand and learned the card game Hoot and Holler and has a blast!

If Bucksport KOA is not Number One Customer Service for KOA, they should be. Upon arrival there was a welcoming sign with our name on it, nice touch. Up graded our site in honor of being a retired U.S. Navy Vet and High School Teacher. We have already started making plans to return and bring other family members with us. The staff was super friendly and willing to please their campers.

We are here for our first time with a new to us camper. From the welcome at the office to the Easter egg hunt and train ride, this is a great place to stay with family and friends. The pool is nice and bath house clean. You can tell the owners run a place they are proud of. We will be back!
