Stayed in Motorhome in the Estates section of this KOA. Spacious, quiet, neat. Really enjoyed meeting and talking with Marlene, the manager, who was very helpful. Liked the clicker to get thru the gate at any time. Great stay!

Hosts Dave and Marlene do an excellent job. Numerous activities for adults and children. Sites were large enought for our 40 motorhome with 4 slides. We would rate it as one of the best we have stayed at. Highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at your campground. Everyone was so friendly and the area was so nice and quiet. Special thanks to Marlene for her basket making class... that was an added bonus!

The hosts were very pleasant, and although it rained allot while we were there, the facilities were very neatly kept and the property was very clean. Some turns were a little tight for our 43’ motor home but still doable. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful campground. Lots of amenities and perfect location as base for exploring the entire Penobscot Bay and Acadia Park. Just loved the campground hosts too.

Small, quiet, cozy KOA. Nice flowers hiding the utility hookups was a nice touch. Hosts/owners were very nice and friendly.

Very friendly hosts! Location is beautiful and quiet. We stayed in a cabin which was a bit musty and smaller than a typical Kamping Kabin (this appears to have been recently converted to a KOA). Plumbing needs updating - showers have very low water pressure and inconsistent temperature. No place to wash dishes, so please install that soon!

We are glad you liked your stay with us. The outside sink and material is on order like we talked about with you. Also, the pressure in the shower has been resolved. Plugged shower head. This is why we ask that if you have any issues please let us know while you are here so we can address. We hope to see you in the future so you can use the new sink. Happy camping!!!

This is a great place to stay. The owners are super friendly and make you feel welcome the whole time you are there. We changed our reservation to leave two days earlier and we wished we had kept it the same. We hated leaving.

Marlene the owner greeted us as we got out of the truck. A very nice hand shake and greeting. She was so nice, it was like seeing a family member again. Office and camp store very clean and well kept. Had everything we needed, they deliver firewood to your campsite, needed propane, he picked the empty up and delivered it back and hooked it up. Wish we could give them a 15, they were the best

My lovely bride of 37 years and I have traveled the entire east coast from Maine to the keys with no set schedule and contact KOAs when we need down time. This place was able to quickly accommodate us even during peak season and was a top notch, well maintained place. Dave and Marlene are fantastic hosts. We highly recommend everyone to try it out.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restroom, laundry and are cabin were clean. The campground was quiet and it was convenient that there was a grocery store just down the street.

This is a really nice site - the owners and staff were always available and very helpful to us in getting ourselves set up and recommending things to see and do in the area. There's a really good grocery store very close by and Acadia National Park is less than an hour away. We'd definitely stay here again the next time we're out that way.

We stayed in many KOA's on our trip around the US. Almost all have been very good but Marlene and David's has surpassed all the others. We were greeted by Marlene as we drove up as she did that with everyone. David asked about our plans. I said I wanted my first lobster roll. 30 min's later he brought two slices of Marlene's lobster quiche. Rocking chairs on the porch were a nice touch. Thanks.

The sole disappointment that Beverly and I had was that the water that we received after the hook up smelled badly so we chose not to drink it or to even brush our teeth with it. However, Marlene and David were very friendly and we would definately return should we visit the greater Castine area again.

Sorry you had an issue. Again, you should have let us know as this is from your rig (usually the hot water side)that is very common with rv's. In fact, the state of Maine water inspectors were here that same day as well as getting a great result from our latest water test. Again, when an issue arises you need to let people know for yours as well as our well being. Our tests all came back 100%.

Stayed for two nights and the hosts Dave and Marlene were a pleasure to deal with. The campground is very well kept and our site with a nice deck and table with chairs is one of the better we have encountered on or trip so far. Would highly recommend this KOA to anyone.

We already sent our review of how great your campground and staff were. We’re the people that told you when the mans wife is helping him to back up she can freely tell him where to go. We would stay at your campground if we are ever back in the area. You people are awesome!

Upon arrival Marlene and David were very gracious. When we had not arrived on the date we were scheduled, due to a mix up on my part Marlene called and quickly resolved the problem. There attention to detail around the whole campground was fantastic and much appreciated. I highly recommended this campground and look forward to returning next year for a full week.

We are here for our first time with a new to us camper. From the welcome at the office to the Easter egg hunt and train ride, this is a great place to stay with family and friends. The pool is nice and bath house clean. You can tell the owners run a place they are proud of. We will be back!
