We have a 42ft fifth wheel and the interior roads are very narrow, corners tight and there is a hill that you may scrape on. We had a back in site in what I think is the newer section of the campground, site was very nice. Had a problem with the electrical and owners fixed immediately, they are super nice, as were all employees. Just seems older, not kept up and roads are not very good.

The owners & staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful; cabin was well equipped and other facilities were clean.. Pizza from the snack hut was really good. Only downside for us - one night there was an event and the DJ music was very loud music which made it difficult to sit outside and have a conversation. Other than that, it was a great stay!!

What a great place to stay. The hosts and staff are very courteous, friendly, and helpful. They offer a pot luck on Saturdays and have a menu the rest of the time from their snack shack. This includes a lobster and crab dinner. We had a site covered in trees, a patio set, patio, and fire pit. The laundries are nice and clean. We would return to this KOA.

We had a nice delux patio site. Main complaint is the dumpster location is inconvenient and hard to get to from the sites in the back. Gated feature is nice except for returning the remote before leaving. Staff was very pleasant!

Our stay was enjoyable even if our spot was tight and difficult to park. Saturday they did a sort of party with music, maybe little bit too loud and I would have stopped it at 8pm instead of 9.30pm!! Staff very friendly and accomodating.

Glad most of your stay was ok. Our quiet hours are 10:00 and strictly enforced. We let our hair down two times a year with a DJ and we do not think a dance till 9:30 is unreasonable!!!

Was met at gate by owner, check-in papers already prepared. Owner assisted in finding and parking in designated site. Water, electric and sewer hook-ups worked well & appeared well maintained. Site was pretty level. Park was clean and orderly. Site was convenient to all amenities. Very lively Saturday evening event (music was a bit too loud). Great place and very much recommend to others.

We are glad you liked our park and hopefully will come again. We appreciate your concern about loud music as we are very concess of rowdy behavior, which we do not allow. 2 times a year we have a dj at night and make sure he is done by quiet hours or earlier as was this case, 9:30 pm. Happy camping

Having stayed at a KOA in Massachusetts back in the late 1990's, it was relaxing and drama-free. So as I was looking to start camping again, I went back to KOA. I made the reservation, and we enjoyed our stay. We had enjoyable conversations with a family from Maryland and grandfather and grandson from Maine. Relaxing, enjoyable and a quilt store! Thank you Marlene and David. We will see you soon!

The family running the Bucksport/Fort Knox KOA was absolutely phenomenal. They were warm, kind, and spoke to you as if you had known them to 20 years. Absolutely the sweetest group of people. Our deluxe cabin was perfect--clean, fully stocked, and comfortable. We wanted for nothing. The campground was quiet and well-kept (even amidst some construction--we barely noticed it!). Fully recomm

Staff went out of their way to help us! They set up a wonderful holiday event for both kids and adults. Sites are spacious and cabin was spotless as were the restrooms! This is our second stay at this KOA!

Quiet! Quiet quiet!! We loved it! Neighbors were friendly, staff was fantastic!! Snack bar delivered out flatbreads to our sight!! Thank you!! During our time, the pool was quiet and awesome!! We loved it!!

Cabin rented with Bunks. No AC but was ok.

We are sorry you were not happy with your choice of accomodations.It clearly states on our website that we have no A/C in our camping cabins and the configuration of our beds. If you would have choosen a deluxe cabin you would have had a queen size bed more ammenities and an A/C.

We enjoyed a nice peaceful stay central to areas we wanted to visit. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Rest rooms were kept clean.

Friendly and we had a great vacation, only two point to warn about. Only two of their 3 tent camping sites are as advertised, the last one is SMALL. They put our family of 4 on this site for 5 day stay while we watched others come and go on the bigger pads. 1 bathhouse on property (2 toilets for all women in the campground) with tiny showers that are NOT family/kid friendly.

Our web site CLEARLY states that this site is small but YOU selected this site online. For less than $5 you could have selected the large sites but elected not to. You had a large tent and screenhouse. Our bath house is clean and up to state codes and is not advertised as a family style bath house

We had a lot of fun hanging with family and relaxing. The deluxe cabin was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and the jump pad.

DON’T STAY HERE. Marlene is beyond RUDE. If you complain about anything expect to be evicted. I would say cold water in shower is a reason to complain. Evicted my cousin and I was told no I wouldn’t be evicted yet Marlene calls the cops and the cop comes to tell me they wanted me evicted. Marlene is crazy and her daughter is too. Say one thing but mean another. You have been warned. DON’T ST

Your comment is fiction! As hard as we try to please our customers sometimes we get ones that cant be pleased or become unruly and belligerent. Thats when it is time for them to go. You cant please the unappeasable!

My tent site was absolutely perfect with a large ent area, a platform for the picnic table and a covered area for grilling. Marlene was an incredible host doing everything possible to make sure my stay was as perfect as it could possibly be. I have already recommended this campground to friends heading to Maine and I will definitely go back!

This was our second trip to Bucksport/Fort Know KOA campground. We enjoyed it immensely and have made plans for another stay. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond for their guests. This campground is a definite "Do-over"!

The owners Marlene and David couldn't be any nicer or more helpful. From guiding you into your site on arrival, to answering any questions you have they made the entire stay a memorable one. Already did another booking for next year!!

I can’t say enough about this KOA, from staff to the owners. I should up after hours and they met me at my truck never had to get out and was told enjoy your stay. The lobster roll is worth every penny. Thanks you guys.

This is a wonderful campground. The owners, Marlene and David, couldn't do enough for their guests, from delivering food and firewood, picking up household trash from sites, and generally being very welcoming. Their response to issues were immediate. Can't say enough great things about them and their property. We have a big rig and were very comfortable in our site.

The owners always welcome us with open arms, we feel like family. They answer questions, they go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need. Every time we visit we find new and delightful amenities. They take excellent care of the facilities, and clearly love their customers. We will be back.

It’s a small campground but very quiet. The employees were very friendly. The snack shack was a plus. We had a patio site that was spacious and clean. The only negative is one bath house. Most of the sites were seasonals that I saw. I would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. With all but 4 sites being full hook up we felt instead of building another bathhouse we would keep our sites. Most campers use their own facilities in the camper. But since ours are so clean we do get a few more using ours. thank you hope to see you soon.

We are here for our first time with a new to us camper. From the welcome at the office to the Easter egg hunt and train ride, this is a great place to stay with family and friends. The pool is nice and bath house clean. You can tell the owners run a place they are proud of. We will be back!
