The park hosts were very friendly and helpful. The park was very clean and quiet. Internet was outstanding. It was a great stay.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. They are always available and offer anything they may do the make our stay more pleasant. Actually everything was perfect, we couldn't ask them to do anything more except to make the sunshine which I am sure they would if they could!!

Marlene, David and the whole crew welcomed us back after one stay last year like family! They took care of all of our needs making sure we knew about all of the activities and made us feel at home the whole time. We reserved the same spot for Labor Day weekend because we were so impressed and can’t wait to come back!

No cable or air TV. They do offer internet connection for TV. Very nice owners who will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

One of the cleanest and most organized KOA we have stayed in. The owners Dave and Marlene are very enjoyable people to get to know. If we ever get back to Bucksport again we definitely know where we will be staying.

Dave and Marlene were wonderful and excellent hosts they went out of their way to make our first stay a great one. Clean and welcoming place to stay. We will definitely be back and would recommend this KOA as one the best.

David and Marlene were the nicest hosts, very helpful in accommodating us. We had a small leak in our water line and David helped with first lending his tool and then directing us to a nearby hardware store to get a new part. The park was clean, quiet and well kept. Many sites to see within a 20 mile radius. We wish to make a trip back in the fall some year. Thank you Marlene and David.

Seasonal families tend to not look over their kids and we had a hard time with that. Kids coming into our campsite and camper, after being asked not to. Owners are very nice. Pool was nice. Restrooms were clean. Activities were fun.

Owners were great....nice campground. The dog run needs to be fixed near the gate and along the front side. Fence is to high off the ground and small dog can easily get out. Also needs lights from the upper are to the lower. It is pitch dark and difficult to navigate. It would be easier to come in the exit right off the road vs driving through the entire facility. Best laundry ever

We are glad you enjoyed our park and your stay. As you saw on the day before you left we had the dog park enlarged and our plan is to seal in the bottom area where little ones can get out to alleviate this issue. We also have light posts between the upper and lower parts that are on a timer. This timer must be off and we have now adjusted and fixed due to your feedback THANK YOU!!!

Very nice KOA. Patios are nice concrete with furniture in the estates. Liked that they were trimming and removing trees to make the drive safer through the campground. Very well kept and would return to this one again next time we are in the area.

Very nice campground. Clean and well attended. Would go back anytime. We are full time RVers and have seen a lot of them. This ranks at the top.

Marlene & Dave are the absolute BEST hosts!!! Very kind & welcoming!!! Beautiful campground ... the sites are amazing with cement pads, adarondeck chairs, even an umbrella table with chairs!!! Had flowers planted!!! Very very nice!!! We have already decided we are DEFINITELY coming back next year!!!

We stayed 4 nights and Marlene greeted me at the walkway with a smile and a handshake to welcome us. She and Dave made us feel so comfortable. The campground is so clean and the sites are more spacious than others we’ve stayed at. It’s also a great location as it’s an easy yet enjoyable ride to the island. I highly recommend this KOA!! Bravo

Would gladly return to this KOA. Very nicely maintained campground with large campsites & concrete patio at each site in the estates. Owners very friendly & helpful & informative regarding local attractions. Sorry wasn’t able to be there for craft classes. Laundromat very clean & reasonably priced. Security gate appreciated greatly.

Well-kept campground with nice patios equipped with a fire ring and table. Sites are generously spaced, all amenities provided in clean, nicely landscaped surroundings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Close to so many activities, this is a perfect spot to stay in northeast Maine.

We have been camping/now RVing for 50 years and this is the first time we had the owners meet us on the office porch with a handshake when we checked in. Very friendly. We were escorted to the site and told where to watch for shape turns, etc. for a big rig. The sites were nice and the park was clean and well kept up in a beautiful location.

We are here for our first time with a new to us camper. From the welcome at the office to the Easter egg hunt and train ride, this is a great place to stay with family and friends. The pool is nice and bath house clean. You can tell the owners run a place they are proud of. We will be back!
