We enjoyed a nice peaceful stay central to areas we wanted to visit. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Rest rooms were kept clean.

DON’T STAY HERE. Marlene is beyond RUDE. If you complain about anything expect to be evicted. I would say cold water in shower is a reason to complain. Evicted my cousin and I was told no I wouldn’t be evicted yet Marlene calls the cops and the cop comes to tell me they wanted me evicted. Marlene is crazy and her daughter is too. Say one thing but mean another. You have been warned. DON’T ST

Your comment is fiction! As hard as we try to please our customers sometimes we get ones that cant be pleased or become unruly and belligerent. Thats when it is time for them to go. You cant please the unappeasable!

This was our second trip to Bucksport/Fort Know KOA campground. We enjoyed it immensely and have made plans for another stay. The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond for their guests. This campground is a definite "Do-over"!

The owners Marlene and David couldn't be any nicer or more helpful. From guiding you into your site on arrival, to answering any questions you have they made the entire stay a memorable one. Already did another booking for next year!!

I can’t say enough about this KOA, from staff to the owners. I should up after hours and they met me at my truck never had to get out and was told enjoy your stay. The lobster roll is worth every penny. Thanks you guys.

This is a wonderful campground. The owners, Marlene and David, couldn't do enough for their guests, from delivering food and firewood, picking up household trash from sites, and generally being very welcoming. Their response to issues were immediate. Can't say enough great things about them and their property. We have a big rig and were very comfortable in our site.

The owners always welcome us with open arms, we feel like family. They answer questions, they go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need. Every time we visit we find new and delightful amenities. They take excellent care of the facilities, and clearly love their customers. We will be back.

We try very har and hope that we can do whatever to make everyones stay memorable. Hoping if anyone has an issue they let us know so we can fix it. Cant wait to see you next year and say hello to your grandson. He was a pleasure.

It’s a small campground but very quiet. The employees were very friendly. The snack shack was a plus. We had a patio site that was spacious and clean. The only negative is one bath house. Most of the sites were seasonals that I saw. I would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. With all but 4 sites being full hook up we felt instead of building another bathhouse we would keep our sites. Most campers use their own facilities in the camper. But since ours are so clean we do get a few more using ours. thank you hope to see you soon.

A big Thank you to the super friendly and helpful couple & staff who run the campground. We couldn't have asked for more. We felt very welcome and had a lovely spot, got lots of information about the area and help making the most out of our time there. Everything was super clean and lots of work & enthusiasm goes into new nice play areas. We definitely recommend the campground & plan to come back

We love the Bucksport KOA! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful! They feel like extended family to us! Everything is tidy, organized, clean, and well-taken care of! We feel right at home and are looking forward to our next stay!

First time staying at a KOA, friendly, helpful staff. Spacious lots, with table , chairs and fire pits. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely campground, Very clean and tidy and well-maintained. Hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The snack shack is good. My travelling companion says the pool is great. I liked the homemade blueberry donuts.

This was the best KOA we’ve stayed at. The owners obviously work hard to continually improve the facilities and keep the camp neat and clean. Many of the sites had wonderful seating areas, and a small ice cream and snack stand was really unique and appreciated. This was a well run, friendly, and fun camp that I’m sure we’ll visit again.

The hosts are very accommodating, and the campsite was perfect. Very quiet and clean grounds. We would definitely stay again. Plenty of sites and attractions in the area to keep busy, or just relax at your site

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Bucksport/ Fort Knox KOA! There were plenty of activities there to keep my kids entertained and it was a short drive to many other fun places to explore! What made this RV park really stand out was the kindness and hospitality from the owners and everyone who works here. They genuinely want you to enjoy your stay and have a great time!

The best ever!!! We loved the host and hostess!! Pizza delivered to your site! I recommend the grilled chicken with balsamic� There was a quilt retreat the weekend we were there, did I mention they have a quilt shop too! Super awesome place to park for a while!

Rating Bucksport/Fort Knox KOA a ten is an understatement! Owners David and Marlene go above and beyond any KOA we have ever stayed at across the USA, and we have been KOA members for many years now. David and Marlene's personal welcoming touch, absolutely makes sure that your stay with them is memorable and comfortable! These two make exceptional examples of how ALL KOA's should be operated.

Friendly staff who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Only downside was the loud motorcycles and cars on the street next to our site (68).

Super friendly & welcoming operators—absolutely hands down the most friendly we have encountered at any KOA. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it if you need a spot not far from what Midcoast Maine has to offer and Acadia isn’t far.

We are here for our first time with a new to us camper. From the welcome at the office to the Easter egg hunt and train ride, this is a great place to stay with family and friends. The pool is nice and bath house clean. You can tell the owners run a place they are proud of. We will be back!
