The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our spot was shaded and spacious. The bathrooms were clean. The pizza was wonderful after a long day on the road. The only downside, which was minor, given the convenience, was the highway noise.

We had a great time in cabin #7. The reasons for the 4 star instead of 5 star review are that the bed sizes on the website don’t match what I was told when I emailed. The bedroom bed is a queen size (I measured it) and so the full size sheets I brought wouldn’t fit. Also, the pump outside our cabin was noisy and really ruined the ambiance of sitting by the river and enjoying nature.

What a great KOA! I cannot say enough good things about this campground — and that's even with not having access to the clubhouse and pool (covid-related)! The staff are ALL amazingly kind and helpful. The individual tent sites are beautifully kept up. The dog park area is huge and the dog owners were considerate and interesting people. GREAT! Do know wifi does not extend to the outer tent area.

The campground and facilities were wonderful. Little highway noise but thankfully it dies down over night. My only complaint is that we had the check out police at our campsite at 11:12am as we were hooking up to let us know check out was 11a. It’s a campground. Give me a break.

LOVED our stay!! Great cabin by the river (wish there was more water in the river though! LOL). A few minor issues....main heater didn't work the 1st night, but got fixed the next day. The coffee maker never fully made a pot of coffee, and we got locked out of our cabin (our mistake) but weren't able to reach the manager to get in. Had to remove the screen (thankfully we left the window open) and

We loved Carbondale and spent days in Marble, Crested Butte, and the Maroon Bells in Aspen. Our cabin was #12. Plenty of room, well-equipped, and very clean. Please know that the campground itself is on a state highway and you will here some road noise. This cabin is next to the office and nearer the road than others. We never found this to be a problem. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful place and views! Convenient to get onto the scenic highway during Aspen watching time! Although there is no sewer hookup, we appreciated the wagon that came around for $10 and emptied your sewer. Thank you for the hospitality!

The only issue was the folks across the river talking loudly at 1:30 am. It was cold out - couldn’t they go inside??

Extremely hospitable hosts and campground managers. They were able to keep us in the same camping site for 3 days instead of making us move on the 3rd day. Cute items in gift/supply shop. Beautiful sites along the river for our 35' RV. Nice concrete patios. Clean and well-maintained. Personnel were available and present at time of set up in case we needed anything/help. We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely spot right by the river. Spotlessly clean, quiet, very helpful staff. There is a bit of noise from the road, but not at all bad. Quieted down significantly in the evening. I look forward to staying here again.

I loved my little cabin on the river......loved hearing the river at night, the cabin was cute and quaint, and clean. I would have loved to have been able to stay their longer!!! The grounds were clean and nice and the staff was all very nice and pleasant. I will be back!!

Had a wonderful time! Patty at the front desk was a pleasure from the first time we spoke. She helped me make my reservation and knew me by name when I arrived. The grounds were clean and the staff friendly. The showers were hot and clean.

All is good and we enjoyed our time here but the fact that there is not a full hook-up makes it inconvenient to dump each day when our tanks get full.

It is the nicest KOA that we have ever stayed at, the staff and facilities were top notch and we have already recommended this KOA to several friends. The 10 sites that are on the river is exactly the kind of campground we hoped to stay at when we bought our fifth wheel 4 years ago. It was a short drive to Aspen where we spent 1 day visiting out of the 3 days we spent there. Thanks from Minnesota

We certainly picked the right time of year to come up here! The Cabin was really cute, and well stocked with all the basic amenities needed. The yard in front of the property facing the river was beautiful. The river looked a bit low, but still pretty, and all the river rocks around there make a rock painter's dreams come true! I even made a couple of Zen stone piles :) Will definitely come back!

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
