We stayed 3 nights on a tent site on the river. The campground was clean, WIFI worked. It was very busy for October, the weather was beautiful. Perfect location for leaf pepping and a trip up to Crystal.

Everyone was super nice! Facilities were clean and updated. Wish the sites were more spaced and there was less highway noise, but I don’t think theres much you could do about that.

Only complaint is they assigned our site at the time it was booked and there were nicer sites like the one next to us that was empty except for every night different people just came for the night, and we were there 4 nights with a rickety picnic table and no trees spaced for our hammocks. Should be first come, picks out site they want! Nice heated bathhouse!

Very nice campground host who takes pride in their campground. Nice clean bathrooms and well kept RV and tent spots. Cabins look great as well.

WE LOVE THE Crystal River Carbodnale KOA! Always great service! Clean/maintained and well run. Monica, Louise and all the fellas driving around in their carts! You all are the A Team! Love it there! Can’t wait for our New Years stay! Or maybe we’ll head back again, when there’s a cancellation;)

Very well kept. Ran by very nice people. No cell service but honestly the WiFi is probably better than at my house. If I had a complaint it would be the traffic noise at times. Nice place.

Beautiful campground and well-kept with wonderful and most helpful hosts! New washroom was excellent, clean and spacious! The only drawback is the campsites are so near the highway.

Facility was well run, clean, etc but it's located next to a very loud busy highway. All night long trucks, motorcycles gunning it up the hill. Did not sleep hardly. Too bad because otherwise the location was great.

thank you! everything was very fantastic.. though I find the noise level in the evening a little bit difficult.. music loud until quiet time. it is not a big negative, but its my preference to be a little quiter.. thank you

The grounds were well groomed, the store was well stocked, the bathrooms clean - and everything worked in them, great shower. We’ll done!!!

The site was super clean and all amenities were just right. The newly renovated bathrooms and showers were a blessing. The pet park and the river walk great places to walk and the view was amazing. The hosts were super helpful and nice. We only stayed one night but will be back again!

Great little place to stay, even though we had some rain! We used our tent here, great little spot, great neighbors we had as well! Staff was friendly and helpful!! We hope to return sometime soon!

We had a great stay! The check-in staff was amazing- they very accommodating (we had an after-hours check-in), super friendly, and timely in responses to all questions. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. Wifi was strong throughout campground. Way more quiet than we had expected. Will definitely be back!

I've been staying here for 5yrs now and this was the most disruptive due to other guests. Campstaff had their hands full dealing with them. Campers walked own the river and coming out thru my campsite. Then there was a member of their group in another campsite that pulled up in their vehicle yelling and honking for a woman. Loud music was from another camp I didn't report.

Thanks for a great time! We stayed 3 nights and it rained HARD the last night. We are experienced tent campers and were happy our riverside site drained well and we were dried out and on our way by late morning. The park is large but doesn't feel crowded at all. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts are well deserving of the praise they receive. We'll stay again soon.

We loved the campground, would have been better if our site wasn’t so secluded. Wifi across the campground would have been helpful but understandable if not possible. All in all had a great time and the ground was well kept up.

I drove an extra hour to get to this Carbondale KOA. I-70 near Glenwood Springs was closed (flash flooding) There was a detour that added time. Check in was really warm and welcoming. They knew about the closure and were helping travelers find their way to the Carbondale KOA. I felt like it was a stress buster to be greeted with such a warm welcome, thanks. My 3rd visit to this KOA. Thanks!

Our campsite was nice and spacious, right by the river. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area was quiet, no loud campers or constant traffic. I wish the bath house was a tab bigger, another stall would be good for busy mornings. Overall, we were lucky to find a good spot during the busy summer season close to town.

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
