Huge tree and bushes in my small tent spot. I camped solo and another solo camper was next to me so it was very quiet. I like how tent spots are separated from motor homes. Fenced area for dogs is really nice. Restroom/showers were very clean. I like that they recycle cans and bottles. Patty and Kim in the office are great. Want to come back when fire restrictions are lifted and sauna is open!

Everything was very clean and well maintained. Charming location near Mount Sopris, Aspen, Maroon Bells. Even though there is a road that passes the property, it is quiet with little traffic, especially at night. Loved the cabin, which was dog friendly, and our dog loved the pet walk. Too bad we couldn't light a campfire because of the statewide fire ban, but we completely understand.

The campground was clean, easy to navigate, and clearly well-maintained. The staff in the general store was friendly and helpful. Above all though, even on a full Labor Day weekend, the site was quiet, tranquil, and refreshing. We will definitely be returning!

This is such he will taking care of campground, right on a beautiful river with so many fun things to do within 30 minutes each direction! The owners and staff seem to love what they do. It is so quiet and peaceful! And the clean bathrooms are a huge plus!

Our second stay on a riverside site. The ambiance was soothing. The staff was wonderful. In the age of Covid, they took every care to sanitize all the site utility contacts between visitors, Bathrooms were sanitized repeatedly during the day. Even the playground surfaces were sanitized daily. The Crystal River and Rio Grande bike paths were thoroughly explored. Saw bear scat but no sightings.

We have stayed here several times, try to go once a year, we always enjoy our stay, very clean, nice people there, it's by the stream, nice sounds of the river going by, close to Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and Aspen, plus kayaking in the small Beaver Lake in Marble. Good campsites, for larger RV's too, we will be back.

Beautiful campground. Nice and quiet even though it is just off the highway. Our pull-through site was very spacious with a nice patio. It has been years since we have been in the area. We had forgotten how beautiful it is. We enjoyed being able to access the paved bikepath right from camp. We'll definitely stay here the next time we are back in the area.

This was by far the best campground we have ever stayed at. The scenery and the beauty was incredible. The staff was beyond great and everyone works very hard to keep the place clean and groomed. We spent one night in a pull thru site which was great but then we were able to switch to River front which was off the charts. Concrete pads, brick fire pits and views right on the river. Best!!!!

very clean tent sites, spaced far apart from others. RV sites are really nice w/concrete patios & furniture. Nice clean bathrooms. Friendly staff.

Very pleasant stay at this KOA. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They kept the common areas clean and sanitized.

We had a great time at the Crystal River KOA. The whole site was very well maintained, beautiful and clean. The location for hiking and biking is great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our kids had a great time as well. We liked having the river nearby too, and the only con was the relatively noisy road nearby where you could hear passing trucks at night. Overall a fantastic spot!

Stayed in Silver Stream , only complaint is we didn't realize there was no heater until after office closed. 2nd night we were able to get a small heater from the office. I would suggest a larger heater for the size of the trailer.

We really enjoyed our stay, loved the fact that our cabin was right on the river, the accommodations were very nice and the grounds were really nice. The only thing we did not like was each time we or our neighbors used water there was a lot of noise that kept us up the first night, but better the second night. But over all I give your facility a 9. We enjoyed our weekend get a way

Beautiful camping with a great view of Mt Sopris. Bikes are available to ride the bike path that follows the river and provides access to the town of Carbondale.

Stayed in Cabin #10, when I called I asked about the hot tub and pool and was not told it was closed. When we arrived the cabin has a sign a sign on the door no pets but the room reeked of car urine. We figured out it was a door mat and took it outside. Aired out the cabin because no one would answer the phone. No power the last day could not shower because the water runs on a pump. Beautiful area

The Maintenance men were very helpful in helping unclog our camper toilet system. Gave us tips on taking care of our camper. Campground was very nice and clean. Everyone one was friendly. We would definitely come back

The cabin was clean and spacious. We had a nice spot on the river so we set up our chairs in the river with some adult beverages and had a good time. The mattress sucked and the shower ran out of hot water. However, from my recent experience staying in four different KOA cabins, all the mattresses sucked and 2 of the four ran out of hot water. We loved the location of the KOA and the river spot.

Everything was fantastic except for the noise from the road kept me up most of the night. Didn't realize I'd be camping right next to the highway. Otherwise the site and bathrooms were great.

Great stay! The staff was always friendly and helpful. A little close to a busy and loud road, which caused some difficultly sleeping but not the KOA’s fault. So happy the bathrooms were available during COVID but had a the gentleman come in two different mornings and spray bleach which got on my toothbrush and personal items each time which was disappointing.

We loved this KOA! It’s nestled along the Crystal River and offers a Mountain View that’s spectacular. We enjoyed a campfire in the fire pit and had quite an unbelievable.view of the stars at night. There’s a large dog park for your traveling pets to romp. Very clean, would love to get back to this KOA it’s a hidden gem!

Beautiful site. Well maintained. Spacious sites. New, clean bathrooms. Crystal River next to tent sites. Our site had a large concrete patio, with wrought iron table and chairs. Great big shade trees.

Tent sites are great next to the river. Bathrooms were clean and never busy. Downsides were the tent sites were very close together and there are many areas which are dusty due to lack of rock or gravel on road/parking surfaces. Overall an excellent campground would definitely stay here again.

Great camp ground, location perfect for all of our planned activities, excellent bathhouse. Would not recommend site #11, right by the dump station and on the main camp road, everyone walks by to use the bathroom/wash station.

We paid extra for a "river-side" tent site but there was no river. completely dried up. we should have been informed of that when making reservation on the phone and should not have paid extra for a river that isn't there.

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
