Quaint, quiet and relaxing place to stay. This was our first time camping in a small RV and we picked the right spot. The bathrooms were very clean which was a huge thing. We stayed at an RV site with a paved patio with a basic set of patio furniture, a grill and fire pit. It was a great location since it was close to other places (Aspen, Glenwood and other small towns).

Personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. We saw how they thoroughly cleaned and sanitized each site after prior campers left. Grounds are beautiful. So many trees! And of course the Crystal River is an added bonus.

It was lovely and clean. The river is right there as is the paved bike path to Carbondale and Aspen!

Beautiful location on the Crystal River. Spotless bathrooms, staff was nice and friendly! Pull thru sites are a little tight I would do back in River front if doable. We used this as home base for many fun day trips.

Our stay at your campground was great - pleasant staff, clean grounds and restrooms/showers kept very clean! Will definitely be staying at your campground again as we didn't have enough time this trip to take in all the beauty of the area.

The customer service was not good. I booked a cabin that sleeps 8, initially for 6 when I did not know how many people can make it of join. Later, a week before the stay, I updated this on the website to 11 people and I swear the website let me update this. I was shocked to see the behavior of the old lady at the reception. She called me dishonest and charged me for 5 extra people instead of 3

Although not real large, this KOA has nice shade and is right on Crystal River. The staff was very helpful. Wish it was twice this size!

We love the air stream cabin and how quiet the area was! All in all an excellent stay and will being booking future stsys! The only request we have is if there is anyway we could have access of opening all windows for air flow.

We had a great time! Crystal river KOA is close to everything... hiking, river rafting, biking. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and had such great space for 6 adults. The office is well stocked with any supplies you may have forgotten. We would highly recommend this for an awesome family get away!

The staff is very friendly. The campgrounds is beautiful-my family had plenty to do from playing corn hole, volleyball and enjoying the river so close.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was well equipped, offering everything you needed for a wonderful 'camping experience. The site was perfect. The camp host were also quite pleasant and helpful. The location, nestled between Carbondale and Redstone was convenient and beautiful.

The campground itself was very nice. The staff was amazing. We stayed in cabin 14 which was pet friendly. The cabin itself was kinda jacked up. When walking in the kitchen it has a big dip where the floor seems to be going out. So you feel like you are walking downhill. The bathroom smelled of mildew. Also, put all of your food in the fridge. We had a mouse get into our bread and tortillas.

Loved the area! Hosts were so personable and a lot of fun. Really felt like family there. Took a really nice family bike ride a few miles up the path, went for a swim in the river and just really enjoyed having the mountains surround us.

The campground itself is not too bad, could stand cleaning up, site leveling, tree trimming, better sewer hookup (they use a ‘honey wagon” (seriously!?) etc. Biggest challenge we have was the predominantly unfriendly staff. Our friends camping with us had a legitimate medical issue and needed a later checkout morning. They were treated quite rudely by an employee when they asked. we wont be ba

We had a great weekend at this campground. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. Love the location by the river, quite relaxing. Also far enough away from town to block out the light pollution, allowing for excellent star gazing.

Nice KOA 6 miles S of Carbondale by the Roaring Fork river. Our welcome was friendly. Best sites are back-ins by the river bank. Most pull-thru's are shaded w/nice patio & furniture. We arrived late so our site11 was opposite the dump station. Foul odors made entertaining unplesant. Host did offer other site but not well shaded. NOTE: please arrive early as sites are 1st come 1st serve!

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
