Service was excellent, friendly and professional. All staff was attentive, and wore COVID masks; thank you!! Holding tank pump out service appreciated. Bath rooms clean and sanitized. Gent named Rich even lent me a tool that I had forgotten; very much appreciated. Patty made extra effort to get us a site without reservation far in advance. Good, relaxing place...many thanks!!

Campground was clean and quiet. The proximity to a paved trail with easy bike access to Carbondale and Glenwood Springs was super nice! Our puppy enjoyed the pet play area ... large open spot that she could run! Hopefully next time I will be able to get a site that backs up to the river.

Fantastic back in sites. Large patio with grill/smoker, quality picnic table with chairs, adirondack chairs next to big fire pit, and gorgeous views with the relaxing sound of the Crystal River just feet from trailer. Helpful courteous staff. Definitely a top notch campground.

We had a wonderful time at the Crystal River KOA! Our campsite was right on the river! The staff was so friendly and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Especially calming for this COVID-era ;)

River sites seemed close together, try to get site 9 or 10. WIFI service was spotty and did not seem reliable. Very nice hosts and staff. Very pretty spot along the Crystal River.

Other than no showers due to covid 19, our stay was wonderful. Beautiful site on the river. Easy access to hiking and golfing.

We lived our little cabin it had all we needed. The kids loved cooking s’mores and hot dogs on the fire pit. The crystal river is beautiful ... I wish we had better luck fishing.

The site was mostly peaceful and clean, but without access to a toilet our stay was to say the least, challenging and unacceptable. I'm still not sure why such a business can be open with no restroom.

Exceptional staff, friendly and accomodating. All of the sites is fantastic, but the riverfront spaces are the cat's meow!

This is one of our favorite RV spots. We bicycle and it is on the extensive trails in the area. This year we were not able to have a spot by the river so the experience was not quite the same as usual. If you go there make sure to get a spot on the river.

I was told we booked a deluxe riverside spot but actually it was tucked in the middle of all the other RV’s next to the dump station and bathrooms. There was no way to really get to the river without walking through other campgrounds. Dogs were barking the whole time and the weed wacker, leaver blower, golf carts were up early Sunday cleaning the sites. Couldn’t even hear the river- not peacef

I enjoyed the campsite itself but I do find it interesting that cabins that are pet friendly have worse appliances, mattress's and are bring your own bedding. We stayed in 8 and loved the space, our friend was in 9 and wow. How different each cabin is. Sleeping on the ground in a tent would've been more comfortable than the mattress provided. Bring an egg crate or you will not feel rested all week

We had a river site and it was so incredibly relaxing and beautiful. Love the bike path to Carbondale and the staff was so friendly and kept the place sanitized and neat.

We love staying at the cabin with the river running in front of it. My husband loves the convenience for fishing. This time many of the facilities were closed due to the covid virus. I appreciate that the staff did a thorough cleaning due to the virus. Our only complaint is that the bathroom smelled like a sewer.

I cancelled a reservation by phone and thought it was taken care of. I guess you can not trust these people because we still had to pay $133 for a cabin we cancelled. Not very honest management. We have phone records we provided to show them we cancelled over a month in advance of the stay but they still did not believe us. Will never camp here

We were told that we would have site by the river. We were sent to that site and there was already somebody there. Then we were told that they Sent us to the wrong site. We believe that our sure was given to somebody else. We were really disappointed because the person who took our reservation had told us what a great sure we were getting. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

We had a wonderful stay. The River was so soothing. Fished in a nearby lake. The five was moving to fast to fish with little kids.

Well kept cabins, new mattress on all the beds would be nice and the refrigerator cannot open all the way but other than that a great place to get away.

Stayed here in June 2020. Given the pandemic and closure of many amenities (understandably given the circumstance) nightly price was high for what was available. Also only one dump station on site where almost all sites are not full hookup. So time departure when not having to wait to dump. Crystal river is great and great location minutes from Carbondale.

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
