We have already recommended this place to several people. It is a beautiful campground and the people were extremely friendly. This was our second time staying here and we look forward to many more trips.

Stay was fine, as expected. Signage regarding where to park RV when checking in was insufficient. Needed to back-up 5th wheel into entry way to be able to turn to go to assigned site.

It was great as always! The people working are always nice and helpful! We stayed on the river in a tent site and we enjoyed hearing the river and having access whenever we wanted. Oh and our dog loves the dog park! Thanks!

The facilities are excellent but the sites vary in quality and privacy. If you get a good site it is perfect and provides everything. I would suggest hosing down the dish washing sink base as food overflows onto the concrete from the drain that leaks a little. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Laundry Handy and the Redstone Inn up the road is a dining pleasure on their summer pool/ patio

The front desk people were very friendly and accommodating. Check-in was easy. The facilities are clean and well kept. Evenings were very quiet.

Camp "HOST" Randy was extremely Rude and not helpful at all. I only get maybe 2 vacations a year and stay at KOA because they are Friendly and Professional .... Not at Crystal River KOA ! Randy was Cras and complained about the way I parked my trailer in Site #2 when he could have helped me.We fortunately also had reservations at Marble Campground and left the KOA the next day because of Randy

The Airstream trailer that we rented was right by the road and didn’t have curtains that covered ALL of the windows. As a result car lights from cars driving by would shine in through the windows while we were sleeping. Overall the campground seemed nice but the Airstream was a bust.

Beautiful grounds with many sites that back to the river. We only stayed one night because they were completely booked. Make your reservations early.

This is a wonderful place to stay and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Please consider more frequently replacing the shower curtain liners. The ones in the women's shower area were badly discolored with mold and mildew.

Everyone/everything was great except for the traffic noise from the highway right next to the campground--we stayed in the Teepee. Not much you can do about that, I guess. Earplugs at night were helpful, but didn't get much sleep. Otherwise, very nice place along the Crystal river and the walking path, with views of Mt Sopris!

One of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Facilities were very clean and updated, tent camp site along the river was peaceful and shaded. Hats off to the owners/operators.

Wonderful place but unfortunately WiFi only good at camp store. My WiFi at Airstream did not work.

Just loved our back in River site! Lovely trees and sitting area. Truly enjoyed the coziness of the site with the peace of the sound of the River flowing. Already scheduled to come back!

Although the WiFi didn't quite work at our campsite, but did at the office, we still enjoyed our stay. Staff is very friendly and courteous, grounds and facilities well kept. We'll be back!

The pool was closed due to the pump broke. Besides that very helpful at front on what to do in area. The river is beautiful. Try to get spots away from road. Some road noise but not horrible. Would stay again

This was the 4th year we have stayed at your park. Site #14 is not at all LEVEL. So much so that our auto levelers could not even get close getting the rig level. This is by far the worst site in the park. Dusty, noisy, campfire smoke all around. Grade out this site and do something about the dust. Also, campground in desperate need of general tree, plant, and ground cover upkeep.

The people running it are wonderful - so helpful and kind! It is in a beautiful area. The campground is small, but beautiful. The store was well stocked and very helpful for forgotten items. I would not stay in the tepee again because it is too close to the road; the road can be loud. I would definitely stay at this campground again, but I would choose a cabin or river campsite.

The pool was closed. Not due to COVID, because someone complained the water looked foggy and maintenance not onsite. Dump station in such a place that if an inconsiderate camper made a mess than at least 12 sites would suffer with the smell. The playground had broken (sharp) pieces. I guess if you don’t swim, are far from the dump station and don’t have kids it would be ideal right on the ri

A good suggestion is to move the teepee away from the Highway. That road is so noisy all night long! None of our party got any sleep at all. It would be better to move the teepee to a quieter spot in the campground.

Love the updates in the cabin!! Need another hook (behind bathroom door) for robe or sleep ware. Great job!! Bed is too hard. Loved listening to the river flowing.

One of the best camping experience we had . The staffs were so friendly . Great site next to the river and the kids enjoyed the pool. Shower rooms and restrooms are very clean and tidy .. will go back there for sure .

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
