Unfortunately a person in our group was asked to leave. Since my family and I (which we’re from CA) rode with them we were forced to leave as well. We were not refunded our money for the last day. My kids along with the others in the group were harassed by the employees. I thought KOAs were supposed to be family friendly. The kids were just riding their bikes to and from the playground area

The hosts are so friendly and helpful. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The location is amazing. We’re going back in a month.

We had a family weekend with 3 children ( ages 4, 2 and 2). They had a blast playing in the river and running around the campground. The adults enjoyed fishing and the beautiful views of the Crystal River. Each night ended with campfires and s’mores. I would definitely recommend this KOA

Everything was great (location, quality of campsite), except the bed we had was really bad (worn out and sagging badly in the middle). Spending some money on having comfortable, quality mattresses would make this place a 5 star campground for me. Also, being informed beforehand that the pool was currently not open would have been appreciated as that was one of the reasons we picked this place.

Owners are pretty scattered brained on how the business is ran. Was a pretty heavy S-show since our large party showed up. From harassing the wrong camp sights on noise, to handling issues with annoying neighbors. Biggest problem was mice in our cabin that came kept us up two nights. $110 a night for mice infested quarters. The owner said there was nothing they do as we told them at check out. Sad

We lived our little cabin it had all we needed. The kids loved cooking s’mores and hot dogs on the fire pit. The crystal river is beautiful ... I wish we had better luck fishing.

I enjoyed the campsite itself but I do find it interesting that cabins that are pet friendly have worse appliances, mattress's and are bring your own bedding. We stayed in 8 and loved the space, our friend was in 9 and wow. How different each cabin is. Sleeping on the ground in a tent would've been more comfortable than the mattress provided. Bring an egg crate or you will not feel rested all week

We love staying at the cabin with the river running in front of it. My husband loves the convenience for fishing. This time many of the facilities were closed due to the covid virus. I appreciate that the staff did a thorough cleaning due to the virus. Our only complaint is that the bathroom smelled like a sewer.

I cancelled a reservation by phone and thought it was taken care of. I guess you can not trust these people because we still had to pay $133 for a cabin we cancelled. Not very honest management. We have phone records we provided to show them we cancelled over a month in advance of the stay but they still did not believe us. Will never camp here

Well kept cabins, new mattress on all the beds would be nice and the refrigerator cannot open all the way but other than that a great place to get away.

Stayed in cabin by the river with our own pavilion that had a gas grill, smoker, cooler. 6 of us, cozy but was awesome. Very clean. Kitchen utensils supplied. Friendly people. Lots of amenities and things to do nearby. Awesome experience!!!

Cabin was clean. Arrangement of cabins makes it feel private and secluded. River right out the front door was amazing. We were sad to miss out on all the amenities due to COVID19 but look forward to coming back to enjoy them next time! Super friendly and helpful staff too! Highly recommend :)

Amazing. Clean. Courteous, friendly, team. Unfortunately, Covid19 closed the pool, tent camping, and bath houses. However, the grounds were clean. Our cabin was immaculate. The staff on-site was AMAZING.

We have stayed here many times and have been very pleased.However, we were very disappointed on our last stay for new years eve and new years day.. The sewer line froze in the middle of the night. We were UNABLE to use the toilet in the winter. We were very suprised the camp ground hosts did not offer a refumd for the inconvenience.We thought it was poor customer service. How do we get a refund?

The cabin was very clean and I loved it. Great beautiful location and the specific cabin near the river was amazing. Kitchen was great and the heat worked very well. I will be back for sure.

We rented cabin #3. It was ok. But, there needs to be reading lights by the bed, a table on both sides of the bed (we pushed the bed out and used a cooler), the outlets need replaced as plugs fall out. Not good when CPAP machines are required for sleep; when electronics need recharged. Other than that, all was good.

The managers on site, complained about their jobs, expressing that they were burnt out and ready to leave. They often would close the office and not want to help customers during business hours. Their dog ran around jumping on people and they were abrasive regarding every day things.

The cabins at this KOA were recommended by a friend, especially Cabin #6. This was part of a birthday/Christmas present to my husband, who's never been to the west part of the U.S. The cabins were in a great location, nice amenities, very well maintained and the staff were very helpful.

We have stayed at the Crystal River KOA many times, and we absolutely love it! It has the most gorgeous backdrop with Mt Sopris behind it, it is clean, quiet, and the staff are the best!

The location is great right on the river and the cabin was clean and has everything you would need, but no TV. They are a little on the small side, but adequate.

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
