Quaint, quiet and relaxing place to stay. This was our first time camping in a small RV and we picked the right spot. The bathrooms were very clean which was a huge thing. We stayed at an RV site with a paved patio with a basic set of patio furniture, a grill and fire pit. It was a great location since it was close to other places (Aspen, Glenwood and other small towns).

Personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. We saw how they thoroughly cleaned and sanitized each site after prior campers left. Grounds are beautiful. So many trees! And of course the Crystal River is an added bonus.

Beautiful location on the Crystal River. Spotless bathrooms, staff was nice and friendly! Pull thru sites are a little tight I would do back in River front if doable. We used this as home base for many fun day trips.

Our stay at your campground was great - pleasant staff, clean grounds and restrooms/showers kept very clean! Will definitely be staying at your campground again as we didn't have enough time this trip to take in all the beauty of the area.

Although not real large, this KOA has nice shade and is right on Crystal River. The staff was very helpful. Wish it was twice this size!

Very clean, well maintained campsite. The river front sites are beautiful. The staff are very friendly & helpful. We've already made another reservation to go back!!

Loved the area! Hosts were so personable and a lot of fun. Really felt like family there. Took a really nice family bike ride a few miles up the path, went for a swim in the river and just really enjoyed having the mountains surround us.

The campground itself is not too bad, could stand cleaning up, site leveling, tree trimming, better sewer hookup (they use a ‘honey wagon” (seriously!?) etc. Biggest challenge we have was the predominantly unfriendly staff. Our friends camping with us had a legitimate medical issue and needed a later checkout morning. They were treated quite rudely by an employee when they asked. we wont be ba

Nice KOA 6 miles S of Carbondale by the Roaring Fork river. Our welcome was friendly. Best sites are back-ins by the river bank. Most pull-thru's are shaded w/nice patio & furniture. We arrived late so our site11 was opposite the dump station. Foul odors made entertaining unplesant. Host did offer other site but not well shaded. NOTE: please arrive early as sites are 1st come 1st serve!

Liked the concrete patios with tables and chairs and the foliage separating the sites. Nice shade trees. Clean bathrooms. Dog run was nice. Didn't feel overly crowded. Convenient to the bike trail. Only negative is no sewer hookups and odor from the bathroom/septic area. Would stay again.

Beautiful shady location right on the river. The owners obviously have sunk a lot of capital keeping the campground in great shape. Spotless new bath house. Convenient to Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, and Aspen. Make sure to go down the road to see the Redstone Historic District and Marble. Will surely come back one day.

It’s a bit of a drive the first time down. Then you realize it’s only twenty minutes from Glenwood Springs. The campground is so beautiful and peaceful, I didn’t want to leave! Even with Covid and the pool closed, it was a spectacular place to stay. One of my favorites on this three week journey of mine!

The entire team at Crystal River KOA are the best hosts that we have encountered. They keep the encounter safe and the restrooms very clean! Great job! We will return for our fifth season next fourth of July!

It was the worst camping experience in all our years of camping. Super unfriendly staff that was on us about every single thing. Yelled at our kids, told us we had to “go to bed” at 9:30 because it was approaching quiet hours. I cannot believe KOA Corporate allows this completely non-family friendly site to be part of their organization.

Great place. Nice quiet and peaceful. We were backed in right along the river. Our host were very friendly and helpful. We plan on staying again in the future.

If I'm going to pay $50 I don't want to have to use a dump station. Dump station on site is not ADA friendly. Dangerous for an old man that can't walk very well. And the parking pad needs to be tilted slightly toward the drain.

This is a very nice KOA located off of Hwy 133 at the base of Mt. Sopris giving spectacular views of the mountain here in Carbondale, Colorado. The colors of fall adds to beauty of Carbondale and the cool temperatures prepares you for winter. This campground provides you necessities for RV living, though it it not a complete hookup with no dumping for your RV. You will have to dump at the dump site when you are full or before you leave. Other then that, great place, great location, and great customer service.
