WiFi in building was good but outside was very spotty. Pool was closed as well as their diner. Staff did not seem to know the area very well.

We had a great experience at this campground! The sites are very clean and spacious and the bath house was spotless! Caverns are amazing!!

Everybody was so friendly and helpful! The facilities were very clean, the recreation center was totally stocked with fun games and the sites weren’t too close to one another! We were sad that the pool was closed and the restaurant wasn’t open yet, but hope to return one day to test those out � thank you Carlsbad KOA team for a wonderful stay!

Very clean, friendly, quiet place with everything we needed for our three day stay. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Very clean campground. Everything worked well. Only issue we had was some campers who won't abide by the leash rule. Got charged by several dogs while walking our pup to the dog park. Fortunately no dog fights. Not much shade here tho. It was a little further from Carlsbad Caverns than we would have preferred, being about an hour drive.

Nice site and helpful staff. We visited in early April so pool and facilities were closed. We were fine with less amenities.

It has been quite a while since we cabin camped and we were looking forward to this experience and the convenience for the NPs. The cabin was quaint but the bathroom was really odd. The entry door was the smallest we've ever seen and had we seen this view in an online brochure we likely would have stayed elsewhere. We made it work and enjoyed the NPs, but likely wouldn't stay in the cabins again.

super clean, staff very accommodating, quiet location, fire pits are a great addition, site I stayed in T12 was perfect for a Sprinter Van and I appreciated how private it was. Will definitely recommend. Thank you!

Overall the stay was ok. The grass is brown and it is dusty in the campground. The bathrooms are old but clean.

Very nice park. Level sites, clean facilities and super quiet. While it is about 35-45 minutes from the Carlsbad NP park entrance, the KOA park itself is so quiet. We will stay again while in the area.

In all my years of camping, I have never stayed at a KOA. This was quite a good experience for me a tent camper. I always associated KOA with travel camper or motor home accommodations. The facility at Carlsbad was truly family-oriented , with a nice recreation/lounge, a great restroom/shower room. The set-up for the tent village was nice in that there was a bit of seclusion and protection.

We loved it! The rec room was great with all of the board games, ping pong, foosball, and darts! We also loved the tetherball outside and the fountain/pond area. Thank you!

Staff is excellent. Park is very well maintained. Dog park is ample. Great views! Would differently recommend a stay with Carlsbad KOA.

We had a nice stay. Loved the bathrooms and rec room. Would of been nice to have store open earlier when getting up heading out for the day to get a cold drink or snack.

Nice park with plenty of space and well laid out. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Like everything else in the area it is dusty. The location is in the middle of nowhere. My only complaint is the stickers (prickly seeds) were abundant. It would be a problem if you had a dog.

Nice people. Camp sites were large. Plenty of washers and dryers available. They also sold propane which I needed.

The koa is a nice place given its location and minimal other options in the area. I gave it 5 stars because it is clean, spaces are large and the place is well maintained. Otherwise it is quite far from anything you actually want to see or do, so I am not going back. I had a 7 day reservation, but left after 4. But that is no fault of the koa, it is just a fairly dismal area of SE new mexico.

One of the best KOA's we've ever been. Huge pull-thru spots with lots of space for your vehicle. Everyone working there was really nice and helpful. Showers and bathroom were spotless and the laundry room was top notch. Easy access to the Caverns and Roswell, worth being a bit out of the way. Definitely will stay again.
