There is a drought happening so will start with that. Staff was excellent. Store was clean. Hoped for green grass like the photos, but no water to spare to water it. . Hoped for good WIFI which was only obtained in the main office, not even my wifi extender could get it. Hoped for a pool to jump in, but they cannot get pool chlorine so shut down. Saw the Caverns and was ready to go. Sad for staff

Had a very enjoyable 15 day stay! Campground has great long sites with large grassy area between each site. However, gravel driveways made it very dusty. Cable TV would go out about every other day for several hours and WiFi did not work at all.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Check in was easy, and then we were escorted to our site and asked if we needed any help getting set up. Everyone on staff seemed to love what they were doing. It was wonderful to stay someplace where everyone was so helpful and pleasantly and genuinely friendly.

Very nice campground, well run and maintained. Sewer hookups are in a concrete drain pits. (The way they all should be, instead of pipes sticking up out of the ground!)

I have been staying in many KOA’s in the last five months. Although the location in the flat plains is somewhat dismal, the large sites, large and clean bathrooms, the dinner delivery to sites make up for the location.

Overall, very pleasant & facilities/amenities very good. That said, we experienced a fairly strong sewage smell from the site on the interior side of our site. We knew it was from there as there was a change in camper tenants during our stay and when the site was unoccupied, there was no odor.

The campground was very clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only downside I found was the loud machine sounds through the night, presumably from the oil fields. And there was also a bad smell of sewage off and on. I don't think it was coming from the campground itself, but from the surrounding oil fields/natural gas fields. Would still stay again.

Overall very tired park in need of maintenance & upgrades.Staff friendly.Spaces nice size;grass needed to be cut around firepit & picnic table. Picnic table needed painting (peeling paint).Utilities good shape;WiFi non-existent; they souldn't advertise they have it; had space E06 so not that far from the office.Dog park & overall park overun with burrs;took hrs to comb/pick out of dog's coat.

It was very nice, The spaces were big and roomy. The bathrooms were nice and clean. We didn't use many of the amenities due to our short stay. Would stay here again.

First impressions matter. Going to our space our guide realized there was a problem. He handled the situation perfectly. New spot, new table, it was flawless. Beware if you have fluffy dogs there are lots of little stickers to get stuck in their fur. Our stay was great. Thank you for a super clean campsite.

Very nice grounds and the cabin was clean. Other campers were very friendly. I even got to see quail on my morning walk!

Just a one night stay and no use of facilities other than the spot. The layout of this KOA sets a high bar. Spacing between spots is just right; rigs are not crowded together "shoulder-to-shoulder" which is really nice. Ample room to maneuver large rigs safely. Spots very level; didn't even need to level side-to-side. Grounds are well maintained.

Brisket dinner was great. Very nice office workers. Only downfall for our little dog was all the stickers in grass and gravel.

They were very accommodating! Even delivered wood 5 minutes prior to closing. The sites were very large and angled well.

The campground was nice and laid out well. The only disappointing thing was the wifi. It was so bad we couldn't even get our devices to connect. The cell service and data worked with no issues though. So as long as you don't have to work or worry about the data usage on your devices you should be fine.

After staying at the KOA Holiday Silver City, NM, the Carlsbad KOA was disappointing Breeze from waste/water treatment plant was not pleasant. Washer & dryer had earplugs, dry apple peels & seeds in them. Happy we did not have barbecue as smokers are located next to dumpsters. Restrooms are clean, water in shower takes above 5 minutes to become hot. Mostly cool shower-hate to waste water.

Well kept campground. Very clean restrooms and laundry with many machines. The people were all friendly and helpful! Big covered porch for hanging out. Fire pit at each campsite. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset.

Although it was a bit more rural then some KOA’s we stayed at, this park was very quiet and was nice to get away from hustle and bustle towns and just relax. Great to see the stars at night. We had a full site patio site and the site was clean. We didn’t use restrooms or showers, so I cannot rate those areas.

best campground in the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Good space in the sites, nice lawn. Good BBQ! Quiet area at night. Kind of a desert plains area, but with the trees in the park, the pecan groves nearby, and the lake on the other side... not a bad place to rest.

This was a great park. The sites were large, well spaced, and the park was kept nicely. Unfortunately, as with most other KOAs, the WiFi was useless at best and should just be turned off. Why you can't get WiFi that works is beyond my comprehension. Charge me a few dollars more, or contract it out to some firm like Tengo Internet. But the status quo just irritates the heck out of me.

One of the best KOA's we've ever been. Huge pull-thru spots with lots of space for your vehicle. Everyone working there was really nice and helpful. Showers and bathroom were spotless and the laundry room was top notch. Easy access to the Caverns and Roswell, worth being a bit out of the way. Definitely will stay again.
