Dog park usually closed. Told dog park at check-in park "it better be clean". It wasn't, told office. Next day flagged down older trash duty and asked him if he would clean, told another day before doing. Washing machine area filthy. Cable service static. Both times gone they were accommodating on site need. Not going back unless just for overnight.

We had a great time in Charleston and enjoyed our stay. We met some nice people and the campground was well maintained. We will be back.

They put us in a spot that wasn’t big enough, had a huge hole in the dirt where we were supposed to park. Weeds growing thru the picnic table, a neighbor who lived there with junk and trash all over. When I complained they moved us to a much better site. But this place is definitely not up to KOA standards.

Nice park, but close to the main road so it was loud at times. Although I love dogs, and I did not bring mine, my camper was right in front of the dog park. It was again, loud at times and when I stepped out of the RV I was enveloped with the wonderful smell of poop. Not all of the time though. Only 20 minutes away from attractions so that was also a big plus. Enjoyed our stay.

The staff members were exceptionally helpful when our truck required repair. Although we passed our departure date they accommodated our stay for 5 additional days in order to get our truck repaired. Thank you so very much.

Staff was very nice. Our site needed mowed and weeds trimmed. I told the office staff and a maintenance person was at my site within 30 min. to take care of it. very pleased. location is near a highway and is noisy at night. but it was expected.

Pull into a medium crappy trailer park entrance that takes you into the campground itself. Right behind a wood chopping and recycling business. Our picnic table was over the sewer pipe for the next site!! Gross and smelly. Bathrooms had to have key pads, you were told not to give out the combo. It's in the middle of town. Trains, planes, sirens, and traffic all night. Pool looked new and nice.

Customer service was amazing. Made us feel very welcome. The campground and facilities were well maintained and the rules seemed very well enforced, especially the quiet hours. The highway, aircraft, and neighborhood noise were a bit loud at times, but nothing can be done about that. The proximity to downtown was perfect for us. Again we were very impressed overall. Thanks for a great stay.

The KOA was a perfect spot for us to stay for a couple of nights as we were running the Cooper River Bridge Run. Easy access to highways and very friendly staff! Will be back in June!

Located close to the things we wanted to see in Charleston and the other campers were amazing and friendly. This location is close to a highway and airport. Constant planes and sirens made getting any sleep very difficult. Additionally, you lose a lot of the camping experience with all of the city noise 24/7.

Staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that when we arrived the last people to use the camp site left numerous things behind. I spoke with the person at the desk and asked to have someone remove these items. Very unsightly. Told it would be done but never was.

The campground is between an interstate highway and a major state highway, so there is a constant buzz of traffic noise with intermittent sirens. In addition, it is under the runway approach for an airport, so the roar of commercial and military jets continues day and night. Finally, it seems that there are shady characters living in some of the cabins and sites. Much suspicious activity.

The campsite was good. The office staff was good. However, while leaving, I destroyed an overslide awning on a tree that is too close to the road. It was at the end of row B on the corner when coming from row C and making a right turn to head back toward the office. I am now trying to determine how to get it replaced. I have gone around that corner before but in the other direction. Reg

Theo staff is very friendly and accommodating. They could do abetted job with keeping the grass cut on ALL sites and not just the prime ones. I was there 12 days and requested to have the grass cut around picnic table-never happened. We couldn’t use it due to the tall grass. If staying-get a prime/deluxe site. Good location

Nice people in the office. The facility is a dump! The run down trailer park next door should have been the give away. There was dog feces next to our site and marked with a flag in the ground next to it, with that effort exerted would you not think it would have been picked up? The site we had was very poor no room for a picnic table with tree roots all over the site, should not be a KOA

This was worst KOA we ever stayed at. Multiple long term/permanent folks there and some of those sites were an absolute mess. Sites advertised to be gravel; they were dirt (mud during our stay) and grass. Had our trip been any longer we would have found another place to stay.

Old and rather unkept...especially the grounds and campsites. This should be listed as less than a "Journey".

We enjoyed our stay. Close to many things we needed. Very clean. Office staff extremely helpful, professional and frirndly. Would return.
