Located close to the things we wanted to see in Charleston and the other campers were amazing and friendly. This location is close to a highway and airport. Constant planes and sirens made getting any sleep very difficult. Additionally, you lose a lot of the camping experience with all of the city noise 24/7.

Very helpful, a nice campsites. Two things could have been better. No fire ring at our campsite. We needed an adopter for 120V. The site service was 240V only. Fortunately the office had a 240V to 120V adapter. Finally ony two stalls in the mens rest room for whole campground.

One toilet in men's bath needs to be remounted. It is like being on a rocking horse. The rest of the place was great

We had a wonderful stay! The location was very nice and there were many accommodations. My only suggestion is to let people know what they need to do to have a campfire in terms of how to get a campfire ring and that there is wood available for sale. Also I was concerned that the KOA does not have a gated entry. Otherwise we had a wonderful time!

The Kampground is fine, but it is in a very noisy area - traffic, sirens, nearby airport. Not amenable for tent camping.

Well…. I’ll start with the corporation as a whole! When I joined I thought there would be cohesiveness between ALL of the KOA Campgrounds!! Farthest from the truth. There are fantastic ones…. Fredricksburg. Then there are ones like Charleston. This dump was connected to a crack head trailer park. I mistakenly, en-route, paid for 3 nights. Stayed 1… ate the other two & stayed in the

We stayed overnight after a long trip from Florida, We had a 21 foot Travel RV and called in late for The spot we had was not clear for a back in and the panel outlet is loose, so we called to get move a couple of spots to get power . I have seen a lot improve KOA and this place could use better Toilets and showers stalls. Clear shrubs and replace picnic table or paint them at least.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA holiday in Charleston. The birds in the lounge were a nice touch.

Everything was clean and great except for the red ants. We were invaded and bitten by red ants every single night, which made the stay not very enjoyable. However the staff and grounds were wonderful. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. Just the anta ruined it. Please do something about the ants and roaches so that I may strongly recommend and consider staying again.

Staff was very friendly. We liked the price and convenient location to the Charleston area. On the other hand, there were a few things that could make it Rate better... The men's room never had soap. The park definitely needs some cosmetic attention. The tent site next to us had an old truck with 2 flats that has been there for a long time.

The camp ground was very well taken care of and bathrooms were very clean. If you need something in a pinch a gas station is right behind the store with a nice walking path to get there easily beside the pool area. Everyone who works there was friendly and were very helpful. It is a little noisy because of traffic, but nothing that a good pair of ear plugs will not take care of. Nice place.

The people were very friendly and the restrooms were clean. The pools was very nice. The city has grown up around the campground, so it was very noisy, lots of traffic and sirens. The stores on other side of fence had lights on all night and our pad was all sand, which meant a ton of ants. We were not there much but to sleep. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and the park was very quiet. The pool was excellent. However we will probably find another location next time just bc the grass was very tall and the ants very very bad at our tent site. I would just assume that the area would be better maintained than how it is was.

Mixed experience. Staff was either very friendly/helpful or so not. Tent site was nice but small, prone to water runoff, esp when the RV uphill leaked a steady stream for a couple of hours. We were never provided a fireplace ring, despite emailing and telling the office. Given the rain, we were disappointed that the rec room was closed. Mt Pleasant is a few minutes away and worth the higher cost.

Staffs are great . Should have been more than one washroom , and toilets were clogged . Not recommend for tent sites as it is small , and with rain the swamp adjacent to tent sites almost filled . The tent sites are small . No tree for hammock. Good proximity to highway and most of the restaurants. Had experience of one unruly campers threatening us . Kids were scared

We booked 2 nights of tent camping and the stay as such wasn't pleasant for the below reasons: a.Campground is very very small. b.KOA has ONLY 1 washroom. No specific time for Trash PU c.A lady got her dog pooped right besides our tent,when we requested her not to do it,she was vry aggressive and came with 2-3 male companions and threatened us thereby leaving all the kids scared for the night.

The sites are great, esp for being right in town. My only recommendations would be to update the kids play area and freshen up some of the activities.

Upon arrival I could barely fit my pop-up camper into my reserved slot. On one side was a tent site and the users took the picnik table from my site. On the other side a guy with a truck, fishing boat, and a travel trailer. The entrance into the site was barely wide enough to back my trailer in....AFTER I took my machete to the 2 trees that were overgrown on each side!!! Would not recommend!!

The campground was clean and the staff was very nice. But the airplane and road noise was loud and constant.

Super Noisey !!! Not the Camp People, but the Highway, Airport, Navy Base, sirens, etc are close.

Too crowded, but nice neighbors. My 16’ Scamp was extremely difficult to back into the site (10?) with the two bushes at the entrance and the angle and fire pits.
