Very disappointed. This campground is very rundown. There are a good amount of permanent campers here that do not keep their spots maintained. They were very trashy and in need of some landscaping. There is a trailer park attached to this campground that is also rundown. I saw residents from there using the KOA pool. This campground is in dire need of some improvements. Did not feel safe here.

The rest rooms were dirty had toilet paper that had been used in the floor. We were told to take out portable fence down or leave the park with no refund. we have camped for 20 years and always put a fence up that we sat in as well as taking care of our pets. We never left them out in the area without us being there. Once it was removed we walked our little poodles and found dog poo throughout.

All the staff was very polite and friendly, the camp store had a good selection of things you need that may have slipped your mind. The camp sites were nice I am going to spend the money for a Deluxe site next time though. Overall it was a good stay.

very sketchy neighborhood , airplanes constantly flying overhead low. my neighbor was trashy and keep charging his camper battery with his truck 3 times a day for several hours each time. would not allow me to have my dog kennel outside while i was there for my little dogs to be outside.

We loved visiting you folks!! With all the amazing things to do around the area, we didnt have much of a chance to enjoy your campground. We were extremely happy with the friendliness of both the staff and campers. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers was great. The only reason that we weren't able to give a 10 or a 5 above was the closeness and small size of the sites. Otherwise Awesome!

The power voltage dropped low and our EMS shut the power off to our trailer numerous times. As many as 3 times an hour at times. The power drop without the EMS would have seriously damaged our camper. The sewer inlet connection was broken. There was no cable as was advertised, there was no campfire area.

A small campground so it’s not so many people and everyone we talked to were so friendly ,nice and quiet yet not far from down town Charleston

The pool was clean but the campground smelt like trash. The trash cans were overflowing. It is attached to a trailer park and it was noisy with loud music playing. The playground was not great for kids compared to the usual KOA amenities. The park was not surrounded by kid safe items. Overall I would not recommended the campground for long stays or if you have young children.

This campground seems to be for more of the long term campers who possibly work in the area. Fortunately it was just 2 adults If we had our kids with us, they would’ve been very bored, as there was only a swimming pool. The entrance is a bit misleading, because it appears as though you are entering a trailer park. Won’t return. We did drive by the Mount pleasant KOA and would love to stay the

We asked to be close to another camping buddy and I know that's hard to do, but there was absolutely no effort put into how close we were. We downgraded to a back in site to be closer. I think in the long run we were happier since the site was much more shaded but with storms almost every day it was tough moving from one camper to another for cooking and family eating together.

Very nice Host and rest rooms were very clean. Recommend that long term stay guest do a better job with keeping there areas and appearance of the campers clean. Over all very quiet place and we will return to this campground on our next visit to Charleston. The Henderson's

I had a pleasant experience. The staff were curtious and informed. The cabin and facilities were in need of maintenance and repairs. Good location to access Charleston, SC.

The people are really rude and mean yelling at our kid for picking up the rope in pool so could go under no security at all at end of our last day was going to clean out fire pitt and there was some sort of Crack pipe in our fire place

Nice big corner lot, wooded. No stones or gravel, so kind of muddy. Noisy neighborhood across the fence... Horn blowing for about 10 minutes at 3 am, rooster crowing. For zone for military and commercial airlines. Lousy laundry room.

This is an older campground, somewhat showing its age, and appearing to be under capitalized. It is somewhat small with the sites rather close together. Few of the sites are paved, and many are dirt or grass. There is only one bathhouse/toilet located at front. Having said all that, we had a comfortable 4-day stay there and the staff was very cordial and appeared to work hard.

It was quite nice and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and cordial. They took us to our site and sent someone to help us get our cable hooked up. We were very pleased.

Mixed experience. Staff was either very friendly/helpful or so not. Tent site was nice but small, prone to water runoff, esp when the RV uphill leaked a steady stream for a couple of hours. We were never provided a fireplace ring, despite emailing and telling the office. Given the rain, we were disappointed that the rec room was closed. Mt Pleasant is a few minutes away and worth the higher cost.

Not very clean in general. Community bathrooms were not cleaned during our stay and we’re not clean when we arrived. We stayed 3 nights. It was fine I guess for somewhere to stay. But this koa is at the bottom of all koa’s I have stayed at.

Homeless drug addicts living out of tents. couple living in tent with their 19 & 14 yr old sons and a dog. The 19yr old son came to our camper asking for food and drinks (which I didn’t mind helping and did give). Mother and 14yr old fist fought and security was notified. It’s in a dirty trailer park. Everything is super small, no grass, minimal space to have fire (some spots don’t even have fire pits), random people sitting out front, people from trailer park use laundry, pool, and bathrooms. Police stay out front on weekends.

The facility was not up to the KOA Holiday standards we have enjoyed other places. Little things like a toilet that didn't flush properly for at least 24 hours, a shower latch that didn't close, a sosp dish off the bathroom wall, no soap dish or shelves t in the showers. Not terrible, it just felt lackluster.

The place is run down and should not be a koa park. I did not check the reviews because being a koa park I though it would be nice. After booking I check the reviews and read many bad reviews and after staying their I found out they were all true.

I think it would be very good if you guys opened your pool at 8 a.m. in the morning and closed it at 10 a.m. at night. I saw where families were really bummed that they could not enjoy your beautiful swimming pool when they pulled in after a very long day traveling with their children. Ask for me I love to do water aerobics early in the morning before I take off and when I found out it didn't open

It was very user friendly to pull in and get set up. That was our first time using the camper and everything was right for hook up, no extra extensions were needed for anything. There is no doubt we will be back for another stay!

Our stay was just "OK." The bath house was cleaned once a day and not very well, I could see the same grime on the shower floors daily. The shower curtains are old and dirty on the shower side. The grass was high and needed to be mowed. The immediate area is not the greatest, but it doesn't take too long to get out of there either. On the positive side, the front desk staff is very friendly!

We enjoyed our stay. Close to many things we needed. Very clean. Office staff extremely helpful, professional and frirndly. Would return.
