We stayed here for 7 nights as a base to explore the area. The site we were given was at the very end of row A. It was a bit tight but adequate for our 22 foot camper. Each night was very quiet allowing a restful sleep. The trees and vegetation were beautiful. The RRs were nice and clean. Also the price was reasonable.

Nice park but never could get onto the WiFi. Need to strengthen your system if you are advertising free high speed internet. Beautiful spot and a lot of stuff to see.

Young lady that checked us in was very nice & helpful. The morning after arrival, we put up a small pen for our dogs. Young rude maintenance guy came by & said "Didn't you read the rules? Take down the pen." Our mistake but his nasty approach was uncalled for. Couple of days later two new camp sites set up dog pens & were allowed to keep them up. Politeness & rule consistency needed.

Many pull Thru paved sites and paved streets for easy walking. Koa was very nice and friendly folks . I 26 nearby and easy drive into CHS.We would stay here again. Did experience planes, trains and automobiles.

Great, we had to move part way thru as we had 3 different sites. First time they switched our reservation so we didn't have to move. On 3rd reservation we had to move but it ended up a better site and so close we carried our chairs and 9 × 18 rug! We already have a reservation for summer.

Overall we had a good stay. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, and the area was quiet. The sites themselves were good, just wish they were a little bigger- we felt very close to our neighbors.

As soon as you drive up to the campground, you get a strange vibe. It’s connected to a motor home park which doesn’t help the vibe. Definitely not the secluded campground that we’ve learned to love about KOA. It was disappointing and we even left early because of this. Also, behind the front of the campground is a company that likes to dump their trucks at 12:30 at night. Not a peaceful sle

Had a nice overnighter at the Charleston KOA. It was nicely organized, a bit tight for big rigs but doable. They allow fires, so that can be an issue if the wind is blowing the smoke your way. The park seemed to be fairly old, maybe 30yrs old. Lots of trees for shade, and one huge oak tree that was gorgeous. There were lots of gravel sites, but ours was paved. I'd return if I'm in the area.

Old campground with narrow sites. Road noise, very little grass. Long term boarders in campers past their prime.

The spaces are so close together. Although the rules say that you cannot tie a dog up and leave it unattended to bark at EVERYTHING, many did and the campground did nothing about it. Was very noisy and not peaceful as a result. Was happy to leave.

The sites are very close together. Everyone was friendly. There was a dog park close to our site which was convenient for us. It was close enough to do some sight seeing in Charleston.

Site fit our unit but was small, had to park on tree roots and there is a broken pipe exposed. When we arrived, pipe flags were all over site. Some of the permanent units are very rough looking. Check in was seemless, office staff knowledgeable and helpful. Great location to Charleston and other attractions. We didn't use pool area but looked nice. We didn't have any problem with highway noise.

I don’t think KOA standards are being met at this campground. The laundry room floor is in terrible shape. Garden shed area was messy. Our site was long overdue for a mow. We had a huge thistle right outside our door. AFTER you pass by the sketchy looking trailer park, the entrance to the campground looks good. The staff was friendly. Upkeep is poor. Lots of seasonal sites that need tidying up.

Too far from bathrooms to try showers. Lot of traffic noise and jets due to airport and base. Not their fault though. Nice campground, back sites were roomy.

Nice campground. We registered with a move to second site half way thru and they changed reservation so we didn't have to move. Also, we got stuck by storm and didn't get to campground till next noon and they didn't charge us for missing day. The camp is full of blooming azaleas at beginning of April. We have already reserved for several days in June.

Restrooms and showers had no handicap access, not even a bar to help someone. They were not as clean as I would have liked. The location was great and the flowers were gorgeous!

We have a 35 ft motorhome, was put in a site way too small. We had reserved a 5 night stay. There were plenty of other spaces available during our stay. I did complain to the office after 2 nights and was allowed to change sites.

This KOA is convenient to a lot of local interests. The staff was great, bathrooms were clean, and pool area looked good even though we didn’t use it. However, the grass really needed mowed! Also, most of the spots are so tight that your lawn chairs sit right against the next site’s water and sewer hookup. Otherwise, I would have given four stars. I would stay here again.

The campground was easy to find. The grounds were well kept.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower and laundry facilities were clean. Our location was good and the hook ups were easy to use. This was our first time camper-camping and we really enjoyed the experience!

Our assigned site was quite small. We have a 37’ 5th wheel and truck. The site was 45’ long and neighbors quite close on both sides. The sites are angled, usually a good thing but on the site we had the main electric box preventing us from using that exit route. We have noted it as a non return campground.

Site landscape needed mowing. It appeared it hadn't been mowed recently, weeds were tall. Other then that site was good. Site was level. Power and water were good. Easy in and out. Convient to Charleston and surrounding area.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to many things we needed. Very clean. Office staff extremely helpful, professional and frirndly. Would return.
