Rude stationary people. Homeless person walking around in the campground harassing campers. Trailer park at entrance very bad eye sore. The whole campground is run down and over grown. No gate at entrance and the trailer park people where allowed to wash their clothes at the campground laundry. Just over all a bad experience.

Although this KOA may lack in some upkeep, it's more than made up by the hospitality of the staff. I had to keep extending my stay due to my closing date shifting several times. They were flexible, understanding, and always had a smile on their face. It made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Thank you for the outstanding customer service and we will be staying with you all again soon!

Would stay again. Only overnight. It sits right next door to an old mobile home park , there was a small YAPPING dog on the other side fence, barked consistently for many hours! their are up to 5 people employed, the campsite we pulled into was NOT clean. There was dried up old dog poop next to our RV trailer step, and the thickness of leaves should’ve been cleaned, laundry NEEDS AN OVERHAUL

The staff was great, the bathrooms were clean, the pool was closed for the season. The park is near enough to the attactions in the city. My one disappoitment was the condition of one of the rv's that was near the front of the park. It is in complete disrepair and did not seem to meet the requirements that are listed on the parks paperwork to be allowed in the park.

Below normal KOA standards. Staff was friendly but the spaces were right next to each other...my neighbor's sewer drain was at the foot of his other neighbor's picnic table. Bathrooms were run down, missing road dispensers, etc. It worked for an over night but at its price it was not as good of value as usual at KOA.

The cabin was wonderful. Everything was neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

The water pressure is really bad in the shower. The campground is really run down. Shouldn't be considered a holiday. Our spot was flooded when it rained, we had to walk around in the mud. This is a 0 on our list to stay again. The people are so nice though. The camp ground just needs to be updated.

Lots of litter in CG and on approach driveways. Very noisy group on C row up to 1am several mornings. We had a great site and great overall experience.

The space was very nice with the concrete patio, built-in firepit, gas grill and seating. The site staff were very nice and personable. The only item of concern was when attempting to exit the campground onto Highway 78...traffic was very busy so it was a long wait to get out onto the Highway in either direction.

First impression was rather shabby, but our 4 day stay was mostly quiet. Loose cats were wandering at will. The cable was poor quality. Our site was too short to leave our tow vehicle attached but it was quite wide. We would likely return someday but this us not our favorite KOA.

It was good for the trip but this Koa is not a great visit. There are some great sites but where this koa is located does not give us a great feeling.

Good: flexible when we had a brake issue and needed to extend. Bad: Trash everywhere, sites not groomed before new checkins, pine needles all over the roads. No pride in ownership. No consistency in bathroom hours when there is a sign that states when they are closed. The worst maintained KOA we’ve ever been to.

Noisy next to highway. A swamp after rain. Picnic table next to sewer hookup . No clean up between campers. Little to offer in store. No water pressure in shower.

We reserved a PT PATIO through the KOA app. We are 45’ long plus our toad.did not want to unhook for 1nights stay.Young man who checked us in was very polite. The deluxe patio pull through was not long enough for our motor home! I went back to the office,only 2 other sites,1 had LARGE tree- couldn’t put slide out on that side. Not big rig friendly KOA.

Facilities were ok. Traffic in and out was horrendous. Sites were very cramped. Location next to a trailer park. Very noisy. Planes overhead, loud motorcycles at all times of the day and night. Sirens way to often.

Way too many long term and rundown old RVs. Didn’t have the look and feel of a KOA. First impression was stepping in the neighbor’s dog poop as I got out of my RV. Knowing that this is an ongoing problem, management should review sites for issues prior to guests arriving. Never going back.

Property is in desperate need of maintenance and the removal of broken down travel trailers/vehicles. Did not come close to what is expected in a KOA Holiday property. Very unfortunate.

Really enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff, very accommodating. The only thing that I would change is they should have a monthly rate for longer stays

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly. The facilities were clean. The pool looked nice although closed for the season. My main complaint is that the sewer connection on our site was broken (but still usable). And they really need to invest in some weed eaters and trim up the sites around the back side of D loop, as well as other areas of the park. I would stay here again.

The park shares a driveway with a mobile home park that provides a very unappetizing entrance. This KOA is the most under/deferred maintained KOA we have ever stayed in. The site was large & grassy which was nice. The laundry room is odd in that it is open to the outside. Also it is open to outside people during the week. This made it very difficult to find time to do our laundry.

We went to this particular campsite bc of the proximity to the animal eye surgeon. The staff allowed us to check out late while we waited on our cat to get out of surgery. Somone had booked our site, but we were offered the opportunity to simply move our camper to an unreserved spot in the meantime. That was very helpful. Things like this are what make us want to go back.

Stay was very nice. Staff very nice and helpful. The only complaint is that I was given a spot with 30amp power and my agreement said it was to be 50amp. Everything else was as expected.

The campground staff were very friendly and helpful. Our site was paved and very level and it was nice to have sewer hookups at the front and the back of the site in case the RV waste port was not located where convenient. The campground looks s about 25 minutes from downtown Charleston and Mt Pleasant. I would highly recommend people to stay here.

First time I paid extra for a patio site and it was a disappointment. The pavers were all cracked and uneven. There are lots of old campers and the grounds were not well maintained. Everyone we spoke to was disappointed in the park. My minimal interaction with the staff was very good and they were helpful.

The grounds at the KOA in Ladson are in terrible condition, no landscaping. Pots with barely surviving plants sitting all around. Many campers appeared to be permanent residence with "junk" sitting outside their campers. The grass was cut around the campers, no weed eating or trimming of overgrown brush/trees. Flower beds sprayed with weed killer - no mulch/rocks to beautify.

Overall, this campground is nice and well maintained. Some areas need improvement, such as the long term rentals. They need to be required to keep their sites clean and clutter free, or be asked to leave. Some were definitely an eyesore that distracted from the many positives this campground offers.

Great staff, clean facilities, convenient to Charleston. Lots of road noise and airplane noise including many sirens detract. Sites awfully close together.

The bathrooms were clean and the two clerks at the office were nice; however, the grass was not cut, the "Recreation Room" advertised looks as if it has not been used or opened in 10 years. Most frustrating was you have nice concrete pads, but they were covered in sand, dirt and pine needles. So much so you really needed a shovel they hadn't been cleaned in so long.

Grounds were not up to standard. It appeared a few people lived on the grounds and had random plants growing everywhere- especially near the unkept playground. The random plants made the grounds appear unmanaged and messy. Not what we expect from KOA. Otherwise our stay was fine. We won’t stay here again unless we have no choice.

Very quiet but there are a lot of long term folks in the campground and you can tell because the sites are not being kept up. I would not let my kids walk to the store alone.

Friendly office staff. Good power-water-sewer-cable-level site. Good space between sites. We had a pull thru and the back-ins looks good as well. A bit far out of town for the touristing (18 miles) but easy access to I26.

Disappointed with the condition of our lot. The grass has not been cut for some time (probably a few weeks) and there was dog poop right outside our door after we parked. There were several scraggly looking stray cats running around. The hook ups worked fine and the people were friendly. Not recommended for large class A RV's like ours.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was very nice and there were many accommodations. My only suggestion is to let people know what they need to do to have a campfire in terms of how to get a campfire ring and that there is wood available for sale. Also I was concerned that the KOA does not have a gated entry. Otherwise we had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed our stay. Close to many things we needed. Very clean. Office staff extremely helpful, professional and frirndly. Would return.
