This was the worst campground I’ve been to in all my travels. There was garbage all over my campsite (empty beer cans, water bottles, used masks, cigarettes, also an entire sewer hose and a bbq lid). The WiFi was not working and there isn’t any cell coverage, then the water spicket handle broke & finally the dump was clogged & it all overflowed. They never once apologized.

I gave your campground 4 stars because on arrival, we were told that the internet was down but should be restored the next day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t restored our entire stay which cost me money on my wireless bill.

Feral cats were everywhere, and the smell of cat pee was overwhelming. Coming into the park, the trailer homes just outside the entrance were horrible, and once inside the park, there was an extremely derelict trailer that must have been parked there for twenty years. Sites were not mowed or weed wacked. We enjoyed Charleston area and spent the least amount of time in the campground itself.

Convenient location, but hear traffic. Spacious shady sites, easy pull through. Bathrooms average; door code is good safety feature. Biggest irritation: pet rules not enforced: 4 different trailers immediately around us left dogs barking; alone; and/or off leash. Staff was wonderful.helpful and friendly. Campground not up to KOA expectations. Lots of what seem to be semi-permanent residents next to a sketchy old fashioned trailer park. WiFi never worked. We left a day early. KOA needs to take a look and see if they want their holiday brand to stay on it. But they should keep the staff!!

Thought the airplanes might be a distraction but they were quiet at night. Did not bother us at all. Easy access to the Highway to get into Charleston. We also found some great restaurants in the area! The branches of the big Oak tree we were parked near was a little too close to the campsite. The park was quiet.

I was surprised at how run down this KOA was in comparison to their website overview. There are a lot of feral cats that roam free and who have made the campground their home, which introduces cat feces all over the place.

Great staff! Sites were very good. Grounds, play ground, and dog park need some work. We'll be back.

Impossible to turn out of with high traffic. Drag races on highway all Saturday night. Staff didn’t seem to know much about the area. Grass could use some grooming. It was nice but not great due to location

Good location/internet service.Reality.. in need of maintenance. Grass cutting. Weed cleanup around buildings and flower beds. Extremely dark at night. No lights inside campground area. People were nice. I showed a lady the major problem with my sewer hookup. Instead of fixing it previously, they tried to silicone parts together=major leak at connection which just fell apart. Surprised for a KOA

Worst KOA we have ever stayed at. Office staff is friendly, wifi, cable & water pressure is good. That's where the positives end. Many what appear to be abandoned trailers. There as a truck parked in a spot for the entire week we were there, it had been there for awhile as weeds were growing out of the bed. Go elsewhere! KOA needs to disassociate itself from this dump!

Campground is unkempt. Staff was very friendly, but for the price, this campground is lacking. Needs a lot of cleaning. Even had abandoned truck with flat tires and grass growing around it.

Our site was a spacious back in site. We did have issues with our power, that was never resolved. Also, there was a game room advertised that looked like it has long been closed and was pad locked. The majority of the campground was run down and unkept. There was grass that was over a foot tall. This KOA did not offer the normal amenities and activities that we’ve come to expect from KOA.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We were situated in an area with RV’s on blocks, one literally falling apart with AC’s hanging off. The property was full of weeds, run down. Trash in our fire ring. Not anywhere close to what we thought were KOA standards. We did not feel comfortable sitting outside our trailer due to the condition of the premises.

This is a very outdated campground. All of its buildings and facilities are in need of updating. The grass was high and needed mowed around our site.

This park needs work. Little if any maintenence work on the grounds and beds. Outbuildings in disrepair. Will not stay again, and we're pretty loyal KOA campers with a lifetime points total of over 300,000.

It was noisy, over grown with weeds, dirty not a KOA more like a thousand trails, lots of full timers with junk all over the place, went to Mt.Pleaent to check it out, it was. Clean staff was friendly like a koa should be. We left early been in parking lots with more friendly people then there will never go back and will post when someone ask where to stay in the area

The people there are very nice, but the campground itself left alot to be desired . Alot of the sites that are probably full time residents weren't kept up. My site hadn't been mowed for awhile. Grass was literally 6-8"high. I called the office to see if I could get it cut, and the woman said it be done the next day. I've been to plenty Koa's, this one is definitely not high on my list.

The worst camp ground I have ever been to. As you pull it it looks like trailer trash , the sites were over grown with grass and dirt . Too close together snd I didn’t not feel safe As you entered the koa at night off highway there is no light to see where to pull into Terrible I will be callling koa about this place

After reading recent reviews I was hesitant to stay here : yes there is road noise, yes there are planes flying over (close to AP), did the flower beds at the entrance need weeding yes: but the park is celebrating 50 years the town grew up around it, the grass was mowed (after weeks of rain) the site was very level, the staff were pleasant, mobile home park is separated from the park. It wasn't in the best shape, could have used more gravel and update the whole place ,the showers needed repair and updating, staff was helpful and friendly

Second KOA that I think you need to look at if you are going to keep the KOA logo on it. (Statesville NC the other). when you see a police cruiser circle on a Sat. night at least five times in a period of a couple of hours, not good. They should have a gate with pass cards, grounds unkempt, trashy trailers on site, does not reflect well upon your brand. Could be nice if cleaned up.

Worst KOA experience ever. The most positive thing is that this KOA makes the two nasty KOA experiences in 2019 actually seem acceptable by comparison. The trailer park entrance and appearance does not help the first impression, but that is no excuse. Read previous reviews that describe the poor condition of this KOA. My mistake for not reading reviews before booking. This should not be a KOA

We stayed for 5 weeks while waiting to close on our house. I had stayed there before for brief weekend trips. I really enjoyed our time there. The only negative is the amount of flooding on our campsite when it rains. There are some that drain off well and some that don't. Ours did not. It made getting to our door a bit of a challenge and a constant mess. Other than that, we loved it!

I’m giving in a 2 because the staff was very nice. However, the park is a mess. They need to hire some serious landscapers. Spots are so tight our table was right on top of neighbors septic. Yuck!

Staff was exceptional. Campground was not up to usual KOA standard’s. Location was terrible. Picnic tables are of such poor quality - run down, moldy etc we would not even use. Lots of KOA signage etc. camp sites are of poor quality. WON’t be staying there again.

Park not very well maintained at all with alot of overgrowth weeds bushes and little trees looks ver bad. The staff seemed uninformed of KOA policies and rewards. We had to choose 3 sites before finding one decent enough for our comfotability. Seems to have a lot of out of state workers staying in park. Entrance to Park is not welcoming with horrible landscape. Poorest keot KOA I've stayed as yet!

Good site, staff on top it. Moved quite a few transients in and out during our stay with no noise or troubles.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to many things we needed. Very clean. Office staff extremely helpful, professional and frirndly. Would return.
