It’s in a dirty trailer park. Everything is super small, no grass, minimal space to have fire (some spots don’t even have fire pits), random people sitting out front, people from trailer park use laundry, pool, and bathrooms. Police stay out front on weekends.

The facility was not up to the KOA Holiday standards we have enjoyed other places. Little things like a toilet that didn't flush properly for at least 24 hours, a shower latch that didn't close, a sosp dish off the bathroom wall, no soap dish or shelves t in the showers. Not terrible, it just felt lackluster.

The place is run down and should not be a koa park. I did not check the reviews because being a koa park I though it would be nice. After booking I check the reviews and read many bad reviews and after staying their I found out they were all true.

I think it would be very good if you guys opened your pool at 8 a.m. in the morning and closed it at 10 a.m. at night. I saw where families were really bummed that they could not enjoy your beautiful swimming pool when they pulled in after a very long day traveling with their children. Ask for me I love to do water aerobics early in the morning before I take off and when I found out it didn't open

It was very user friendly to pull in and get set up. That was our first time using the camper and everything was right for hook up, no extra extensions were needed for anything. There is no doubt we will be back for another stay!

Our stay was just "OK." The bath house was cleaned once a day and not very well, I could see the same grime on the shower floors daily. The shower curtains are old and dirty on the shower side. The grass was high and needed to be mowed. The immediate area is not the greatest, but it doesn't take too long to get out of there either. On the positive side, the front desk staff is very friendly!

Very friendly staff. Great shady campsite that is hard to find sometimes. Plenty of parking at site. Just a delightfully place to camp. Quiet respectful campers next to us. Will be back soon.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The facilities were not what we usually expect from KOA. The grounds were in need of landscaping (overgrown weeds around several units which appeared to have been parked there for some time). The bathrooms were adequate but not as clean as they should have been (not sure anyone cleaned on the weekend, paper on the floor, no soap and no toilet paper).

Great staff. Some sites need to be cleaned up. One site looks like a junk yard. Site E8 ...mow the grass...E7no sewage cap.

Love the campground. 2 complaints though: 1. Ants were all around camp spot. 2. Bath and showers were dirty and they were supposed to be just cleaned.

Stayed 3 nights. Was clean and quiet. Spaces were big enough for the awnings. It rained a lot and campground had a little bit of water problem. Bathrooms older but ok. People working were very nice. Garbage was picked up by noon. Need to have a vehicle, rent or call Uber to get to Charleston. Approximately 20 miles out. Would stay here again!

Staff was very nice but the campground was not very nice high grass at the sites the sites were very close and alot of run down full time campers there it looked like a low end trailer park very unhappy

Unkept grounds (high grass and broken RV parts), abandoned RV trailer up front in row E and uninformed staff and a questionable section of Charleston. I do not recommend this campground - not sure how they can be a KOA Holiday... our neighbors concurred with our observations when we talked with them before they left. Worst KOA I have ever been to.

Our site was completely under water due to rain but poor drainage I had to stand in water to hookup and set up the camper in the dark also no lights throughout the camp ground

The cycle he had was unlevel it was wet it was like swamp and we won’t be staying there again nor will we suggest anybody else stay there.

Way too many feral cats. Flooding issues during heavy rains, sites on hwy side were extremely noisy all night. A bit over priced for the location. KOA folks were very friendly and helpful. Trash was picked up each day.

This KOA needs a little maintenance done on a weekly basis. The campsites in the front are ok but elsewhere very uneven , no shade trees as reservation stated. This campground also has numerous live ins, this should be noted on the reservation inquiry. This KOA seems to have relaxed rules for live ins making campground look unpleasant. Will not be visiting this campground again �

We didn’t utilize the campground amenities as we were busy elsewhere and what we needed within our own lot was fine. However, upon our departure, we scratched our very expensive motorhome several times on all of the untrimmed trees trying to simply drive our way out . Part of a branch of a large overgrown palm tree even attached itself to our side mirror for many miles. Buffing May help. Idk

Our camp site was completely under water after a rain storm . We had 3” of water between our car and the steps of the coach. The sewer and water lines were under water. The electrical line was within inches of the plug being under water. I went to the office and was told they new they had water issues and I would have to talk to management Monday. I going to ask for a refund.

Good week. KOA needs updating in some areas and blow pine straw off building next to sign in. Kids playground could have additional activities and equipment. Basketball area was used a lot but rim needs leveling.

Surrounding area not as quite as we would have liked. It was the last leg of an eight day trip retrieving my son from university, so we weren’t too upset about spending the last night in the camper watching TV. Staff was very plesent and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and showers were good. I did see an eastern blue bird on a walk around camp, which promoted happiness for the journey.

The campground was more like a trailer park for RV's. It had nothing to offer outside of the pool. However, the pool was closed. Thankfully, we were in Charleston and able to visit places within the city. The campground was clean and quiet.

The area didn’t feel comfortable with the graffiti on abandoned gas station that greeted you. The low area was easily flooded by rain

I stayed at Charleston KOA in may. Had a good visit. The pool was large and refreshing. Restrooms were clean. One problem was roads needed to be marked one way going or leaving sites. I would defiantly stay again.

Nice park but the spot we were assigned (d12) really needs some rock or she’ll put in there. It was dirt that turned to mud. Other than that it was a very nice park. Best WiFi we’ve ever had and good cable

The laundry room is pathetic, the pool closes to early, the cabin my son's family rented was not cared for, the water heater didn't work and the patio was not cleaned until I asked and the grill was filthy, our site was not cleaned, the attitude of some of the employees was dismissive of suggestions. This KOA was not up to the standards that we have seen over the last four plus years of travelling

Good location for touring Charleston area, easy to get in and out. Staff friendly and site large enough to not feel cramped. Would definitely recommend

The staff was friendly and helpful, its the just the amenities are terrible. Our picnic table was not up to par - old, warped, not something you'd want to sit on. The sites are very close together, the trash was smelly and right out front. When you pull in and see a trailer park, then your campsite right there, it's not very appealing. It was a place to sleep but that's about it.
