Great people, lighting around dog park is none after dark. They are willing to help you with anything if asked. Could use a lil manicurist around the park. But would stay again.

it was a dump the bugs could call you away the bathrooms were so ,so not clean and not that dirty would'nt take my dog to the playground , they need to be reevaluted , were not koa standards and i have been to 12 koa this fall . it really was a dump not worth $56. a night

We found the campground needed mowing in general and trimming around long term campers appeared non-existent. Other campers said the grass has been an issue for some time. Our particular site had a large hump right in the middle, likely where a tree use to be but the stump wasn't ground down enough to level the site. All utilities worked fine. Toilets were clean. Good WIFI. Nice people.

The park is very rundown and not kept well. The trailer park when you pull in is very unsightly. When we arrived to the KOA and checked in we proceeded to our spot but it was under 6" of water. We went back to the office and they moved us up a few spots. The spot was COVERED in dog poop. The grass was almost knee deep at the site and all of the items associated with our "premium" site were broken

This was the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. Stayed insight F06. The site had weeds and grass overgrown. The cover for the sewer had been rolled over and was broke. This park should not be list as KOA. Glad it was only for one night. Won’t stay ther again.

I do appreciate getting a site, as it was full, the site was little to no gravel and sparse grass that turned to mud when it rained just prior to our arrival. The mosquitoes were swarming and I am allergic. The staff were very accommodating even getting us a site, however.

We stayed at this KOA because it was conveniently located to a hotel in North Charleston where we were attending a multi day reunion. We did not know this KOA is co-located with a trailer park of which the owner is the same. The tenants of the trailer park are allowed to use the washing machines and take advantage. The people staffing the KOA are very nice but the site is dirty and noisy.

The staff is very helpful, check-in was a breeze. Our site however was very uneven (rutted and roots sticking up) and hard to level the RV, and the picnic table should have been pulled last year. Due to the recent rains, there were a large number of fire ant piles around in the grass which made walking around in anything resembling a sandal risky. Outside of that, the visit was pleasant.

It is not well maintained. The grass is a foot high in a lot of the park. Friendly staff, but would not go back.

We are KOA members with upwards of 89K points and this was, without fail, the worst KOA we have stayed at. The experience starts with the entrance. Palm trees in need of a trim met us (and our rig’s paint job), to be closely followed by the totally trashy trailer park with which the KOA shares an entrance. Unkept grounds, and trashy full time residents await after check in.

Grounds are not well kept. Front entrance looks like haven't been mowed or weeded in over a month. Laundry is shared with a mobile home park that has a shared entrance.

Generally unkept, grass not mowed, supposed to be gravel sites grass grown all up in gravel. Huge dirt area all in front of our door. Had to ask for fire pit. Laundry was filthy, didn’t even go in bathroom after seeing laundry. Trailer parked next to us was missing tires on 1 side, absolutely filthy & window ac half falling off. Looked like it had been there for years so much had grown up around

Convenient to my Doctors appointment at MUSC. Staff was excellent and very helpful friendly. Campground clean and taken good care of, but very noisy at night because of the airplanes flying over and the traffic from the road. Other then the surrounding noise, our stay was great.

The KOA was such a disappointment due to unkept grounds, loud freeway, train and airplane noise. It was badly lit, didn’t feel safe there. The electrical posts were in bad shape. This KOA needs some improvements, it is in a good location as far as going into Charleston.

Check in was extremely easy. The site was nice and overall the atmosphere was peaceful. The only problem we had was with the dump hook-up as it had been torn out of the ground and needed some prodding to get it back in correctly. Not a big deal though.

The sand pits for horse shoes was not clean. Could have taken a weed whacker to the grass around the hookup and sewer connections.

Bathroom was disgusting. Out of toilet paper and the staff didn’t seem to care when I told them. Facilities in disrepair. I was very disappointed with the campground. They didn’t bother getting out to open up camp k9 in the morning. Game room was non existent. Pool did look nice though. I will never go back! WiFi didn’t work and when I asked the staff was no help. The young lady who registered us was very nice, she was the only friendly employee we met. The park needs a good updating. Several sites the weeds were so tall around the service connects you could not even see them. Employees witnessed speeding in the park and it kept on every day. Rained while we were there and a lot of site completely under water. Our sewer connection was broken.

We stayed a week in the end of the B row. It rained for 3 days while there and there was a large puddle at our door. Not much there to do for kids like the on in mount pleasant. It’s an older park, needs some upgrades and maybe landscaping. I don’t recommend using the laundry as the dryers didn’t dry well. Not much room to park. Part of our site was used for the neighbors site park

Way too many permanent units that were trashed and many low tree branches. Unfortunately it rained a lot and made the ground flooded that I used the sewer connection to drain.

This campground would be a lot better if the facilities were maintained better. The “rev room/game room” that the kids were looking forward to was locked up, and all that was in the entire building was a pool table, a few chairs and a projector screen, no video games. The horse shoes pit was missing a pole so also unuseful. Playground in mediocre condition. Not planning to return.

Workers are nice, but the grounds were unkept and there seemed to be a LOT of permanent residents which made it a bit sketchy. It’s a place to park an RV and visit Charleston. But I wouldn’t want to spend any time in the campground other than to sleep.

Very small sites and was not able to keep up our portable free standing dog fence so we found a better koa. Will never stay at this one ever again and have already told others not to stay there!

Camp ground is clean. Site was easy in and out. We were in the primo site so we had a grill chair and swing at our disposal. Park is dated. While the pool was operational we did not use it. We have stayed before in this campground so I knew it's location before booking. It makes a good travel overnight stop.

We had a deluxe site but it was not level at all. The amenities at the site (patio, swing, gas grill and table & chairs all great condition). Bath house was kept clean at all times.

Virginia. Run down. Site wasn't mowed. Our picnic table needed thrown away. Angled koa beam on office by the laundry is rotted away. Went to go swiming at 730pm, says it closes at 8, and they just put chemicals in and I couldn't swim. Overall campground is ok, just not the same levels as the rest we were at. We would stay there again.

The grass was to high, the campground needed alot of maintenance. To many to write, sorry. The dog walk was awful. Not friendly people running this koa, y'all I really like my past dealing with koa, sorry this wasn't one of them.

Great location, very tight sites for bigger rigs, too much dirt for us although the driving area for the sites are heavy gravel. If it rains, it will be messy muddy. The staff is very nice! 1 or 2 nights in good weather is great.

The park has very friendly staff. Great water pressure. The pool is a plus. The dog park is a good thing. Plenty of shaded spots. Stores and good restaurants nearby like the Honky Tonk Saloon for BBQ and country dancing, and for good seafood Gilligan’s Seafood Restaurant. The grounds, however, need some serious TLC. As is common right now, it is difficult to find someone to do the work.

Nice quite place. Only thing I didn’t like was grass was kind of high and I expected more of my site to be gravel instead of grass. Rained the first night and had standing water in the site due to it not being very level other than the pad the camper sat. Will get a concrete site next time. Over all not bad at all. Just a few small things I mentioned.

Very nice staff and pool was big and clean, theres the 2 stars. But. it's old looking, run down, not maintained, residential park. Close spaces, grass overgrown, could not put my chihauhau in pen to do business n pick up, they want you to walk dogs n poop was everywhere, no fire ring, not 1 light at night, no security, overpriced, no activities, will not be back, it's not up to KOA standards

Needs to mow the grass, do more upkeep on the premises, we were blocked in the entrance several times, needs traffic lanes more clearly marked, or more lanes for thru traffic.We expected more from KOA.. seemed run down that matched the trailer park next door... On a positive note, people were friendly, store was well stocked, bathroom and showers were clean and laundry was convenient...

Worst KOA. Husband had to pull weeds before he could hook up power. Site had dog poop in it. Needed alot of TLC. Most sites had long term families.

The KOA staff was friendly. The campsite is small. We didn’t like how close we were to our neighbors. This became an issue when the neighbors beside us were too loud singing karaoke after quiet hours. We called the KOA security and left a message but my husband had to ask the neighbors to quiet down. There weren’t any real amenities except a pool and older dog park. It was okay but not great.
