The staff here are what makes this place special. Staff were happy and had welcoming smiles! From the start, we miscalculated our arrival and got there 1.5 hours early and they were ready for us. It was my first time being escorted to our site and it was a pleasure to eliminate the 'getting lost factor'. They deliver firewood, pizza and pick up your bagged trash at the campsite. Great service!

Very nice campground-spacious sites, nice showers, excellent camp store and good internet. A bit close to the highway which is noisy especially early in the morning but overall deserving of its great ratings

This was only a brief stay as we were checking out a new trailer. Staff was great. Site needed some trimming of brush, tough to get to the storage on the hook-up side of our trailer. Even our escort to the site said "looks like we need to do some trimming". The biggest negative was back hoe work going on one day at neighboring site. Overall stay was good and we may go back one day.

As always, we were impressed with the campground and staff. Having camped during COVID, it was reassuring to see that they followed all the protocols they had in place. This is a go-to campground for us to relax and enjoy northern NH.

We had a good time kayaking and fishing. Staff was extremely friendly. Bathrooms had plenty of hot water and water pressure.

Great family campground. The staff did an incredible job with all of the social distancing measures/mask requirements. We felt totally comfortable staying here during the pandemic. We loved all the fun activities that this campground has planned for families/children. Great location, too. Plenty to do in the area but also plenty to do right at the campground without having to leave. A+!!!

We love Chocura KOA!! This is our third summer there and we’ve also gone in the fall (we’ll be there in October this year, too!). Such a beautiful location and so much to do!! The nicest staff and plenty of facilities to get you through your stay; firewood, camp store, laundry. We love canoeing on the pond and swimming in the pool! Great KOA!!

Friendly staff! Clean cabin. I wish I could remember their names, but the two ladies who drove the escort cart on Friday July 17th were amazing! Very funny and sweet. Also, the gentleman (he played Santa) assisted in teaching me how to turn on the stove was very kind and patient. Check in staff (Steve?) was quick, knowledge and friendly. Easy to make phone reservations too! LOVE THIS PLACE!

We stayed at this KOA for the first time a little over a week ago. It was our first experience at a KOA and we loved it! It was clean, quiet, and very friendly. Our site was nice and shaded which we wanted. People abided by the COVID procedures which were greatly appreciated! We also saw people cleaning very frequently. We are already looking into booking at another KOA! We cannot wait to go back!

This campground is always clean and especially now, took great pains to follow COVID 19 protocol. The staff is helpful, friendly and accommodating. This is our third year at Chocorua and we booked for 2021. There is so much to do and located in a truly beautiful area. Another good stay at Chorcorua KOA.

Loved the campsite and how clean everything was. Only concern we had was that we had to go around where the store was and the safety of children riding on their bikes. We felt that there should have been another way around so we would not be continuing to drive by where the children and adults congregated. Would not feel good about bringing my grandkids,because you have alot to offer.

We tried a deluxe patio site this trip, ours was one of the smaller ones but it was still nice. Loved being able to put our canoe in right from our site. The staff is always friendly. I was bummed that the kennels were closed so we weren't able to do a day trip where our dog cannot go BUT I was very happy there were still activities for my kids to do and was happy about the masks ON everywhere!!

We've been coming there for 15 yrs. I've stopped looking online for vacations. Never disappointed. We always stay in one of the rustic cabins. Peace ,the woods and the pond .What more can you ask for?

Pros- wonderful setting on Moore’s Pond with kayak and canoe rental, well maintained system of trails, friendliness of staff( Thank you Gloria and Steve), even though we had no children we noticed the great planned activities Cons - At site 32 there was loud road noise, fire pits need to be updated

I felt that the Chocorua KOA did an outstanding job of keeping everything clean, instilling trust that safety measures were in place, and ensuring that activities were able to take place in a safe manner. Even though the campground is less than 2 hours away from my home, it still felt like a nice escape. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I would definitely return.

Met you at Boston RV show. We loved Chocorua! Linda's activities were fabulous and much appreciated during the rain. Our boys LOVED painting their humongous rocks; mining for arrowheads; & tie-dying. Having *weekday* activities makes you stand out. Pancake breakfasts and ice cream evenings rocked! Teen staffers were great with kids & please thank staffer with long beard & shades (very welcoming).

The campground and staff were great. The lake on the private island was amazing, and the cabin was clean. However, it may have just been the nature of our timing/weather, but the Tepee cabin has almost NO crossbreeze, and on those humid nights it was unbearable to sleep. I have never been so uncomfortable, and everything was sticky. Other than that, great!

My family and I stayed here July 2021. It had been a Christmas present for our mother from my sister and I. My mom stayed in the Look to the Mountain cabin all by herself which was insane because that particular cabin is huge!!! Very comfy for her!!! Plus we all visited her cabin quite frequently. My sister, her husband and daughter brought their pop up camper and my husband, myself and our two kids stayed in a teepee. So we got to explore three very different types of stay at the KOA!! And they were all so fun!! The pool is great, the pond, playground, and activities were awesome!! The laundry facility came in handy. The public restrooms…..not a fan but I think that's just me. We used my moms cabin restroom most times for some privacy. They certainly have a robust population of chipmunks, but what can you do. I did wish I had known chairs, a grill, and linens such as pillows, sheets, bedding and towels were going to be provided. I would have packed way less. But overall it was an amazing trip and I hope we are all able to return someday.
