Very friendly! Even jumped my car when the battery died... but the fire wood was SO damp it took me over an hour to cook some Knor pasta sides because I had to keep feeding the fire with paper that I luckily had in my car

My cousins and I stayed here this past weekend and we absolutely loved it! They have everything someone would need - clean facilities, a camp store for last minute items you may have forgotten, food (hot breakfast, dinner, and ice cream!!), and plenty of events if you happen to be traveling with little ones. We can't wait to go back/stay at other KOA locations in the future!

The bathrooms were dirty the entire weekend. The 10:00pm quiet hours were not enforced. The lake was disappointing, very small. Positives: the trails were very nice and the kayaks were available to rent at a very affordable price.

In the spirit of exploration, we normally don't go to the same campground more than once, but Chocorua is the exception. We've been there 3 times. now, and I am always amazed by how much there is to do, and most notably, how (sincerely) friendly and welcoming the staff are. It is truly amazing. Also, for what it's worth, the Camp Store is perfectly stocked for anything we might need.

When I arrived Steve was more than excited to see me walk through the door. He wanted to make sure I knew I was welcome to make myself at home. Every single employee I met at Chocorua campground was more then happy to help me any time i needed it. The prices, the cleanliness, food, the gift shop everything was spectacular. I strongly recommend coming here!

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly!

Overall it was a fine experience. It would be nicer if each campsite wasn’t practically stacked on each other. I can see that it’s a fun place for families with young kids. Due to the sexist remark given to my wife by one of the employees at the site (saying that she won’t be able to back the car into the campsite because she’s a woman), we can’t recommend it to friends and family.

Site 57 floods easily but is a ok size & close to the activities. There was confusion when I called about whether the site had electric or not- it did but I was told it didn't so I packed for dry camping. $65 a night for no utilities is a lot but I went because my kids like the crafts last year. They were a bit sad that the crafts were mainly coloring this year. Nice staff and cute pond.

It was nice on Thursday night but Friday night our camp neighbors were loud and obvious until 1am despite other fellow campers telling them to quiet down. Kayak rentals on the campground is nice and the staff is as friendly as can be.

Steve was super welcoming, super friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were extremely clean same as the showers. So convenient to have the little shop available for a last minute errand. All employees were soooooo friendly and helpful. Place was always clean, quiet and everyone was happy. We felt 100% safe at all times. Def. Going back. Thanks so much!

We love this place and need to come back later in the year so we can use the pool and swim in a warmer pond. We had a lot of fun.

Very nice campground. Love the location.

We had a great time at our first KOA experience. Liked having super clean bathrooms (although those sinks where you have to hold the separate hot and cold water knobs on while rinsing your hands are dreadful). Staff was super friendly and helpful. The walking trails across the marsh were great. It was nice having activities for the kids, even if we didn't do them all. We'll be back!

We loved are stay at KOA Chocura! The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was such a treat to be able to bring our dog and that a dog park was available onsite. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

The communal bathrooms were cleaner than most store bathrooms, and I think that says a lot about the campground. Staff is super friendly, rules aren't too strict, there's a lot to do, camp sites are set up well and a good mix of rugged and comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Great site, private, clean and woodsy, the bathrooms and playground could use some updating. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Stayed two nights with my grown up sons. Campground is well managed, workers are friendly and helpful. Water was good and bathroom, showers as well. Only minor drawback was headlights shining into our site when cars or carts drove by. We were in # 71. A barrier like a fence in the right place could stop that. Overall a good place to stay. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed his swimming area.

It was our first time ever doing something like this, and it was really great. The staff was super friendly. The site was close enough to facilities, but secluded enough to give us a sense of privacy. The campgrounds offered great amenities, like the pool and the boats for the pond. Tie-dying and the pancake breakfast were fun too. All around an excellent experience.

The friendliest staff!

Everything was good given the circumstances of COVID. I would recommend more camp staff to help with the breakfasts as it was quite backed up. With staff having to get everything for you (coffee, juice, syrup, etc) It just slows everything down. This was my first time here but would like to visit again for a longer stay.

Fantastic stay. Reserving a spot was easy. The camp hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The camp is clean and well organized. Very clean bathrooms and great focus on proper distancing. We’ll absolutely go back. The main road is a little load- you can hear it all night. But that’s not their doing.

Staff was very friendly. Lots of planned activities and on site amenities made our stay one to remember.

From the moment of check in I could tell we were going to love it! All the staff were so friendly, loved the nature trails and boat rentals! Have already recommended it to friends!

We really enjoyed this place. There was something for everyone in our family. The trails and pond were very fun. We thought the activities planned and the safety considerations taken were impressive. We look forward to going back even under the current restrictions.

My family and I stayed here July 2021. It had been a Christmas present for our mother from my sister and I. My mom stayed in the Look to the Mountain cabin all by herself which was insane because that particular cabin is huge!!! Very comfy for her!!! Plus we all visited her cabin quite frequently. My sister, her husband and daughter brought their pop up camper and my husband, myself and our two kids stayed in a teepee. So we got to explore three very different types of stay at the KOA!! And they were all so fun!! The pool is great, the pond, playground, and activities were awesome!! The laundry facility came in handy. The public restrooms…..not a fan but I think that's just me. We used my moms cabin restroom most times for some privacy. They certainly have a robust population of chipmunks, but what can you do. I did wish I had known chairs, a grill, and linens such as pillows, sheets, bedding and towels were going to be provided. I would have packed way less. But overall it was an amazing trip and I hope we are all able to return someday.
