Our campground is proud to be a green park, committed to protecting the planet. We actively support recycling and provide convenient opportunities for guests to reduce waste and help preserve our natural environment for future generations.

Visitor Policy

All visitors should stop by the office to register, pay the $5.00 visitor fee, and receive a valid parking pass. This policy also applies to any RV service provider (technician/detailer) that you may employ to work at your campsite.
Visitors are allowed to stay until 10:00 pm.

Pet Policy

Your pets are part of our family too! We love pets and welcome all non-aggressive pets to our campground. We offer a pet washing station and a dog park for exercising your furry friends.  We have doggy-bag dispensers located throughout the park for your convenience. Please be courteous to your fellow campers by always cleaning up after your pet. When outside, pets must be on a leash at all times. Pets should never be left unattended.

Fire Pits

Fire pits are allowed, but must be off the ground. Rentals are available in the Kamp Store and firewood is available for purchase at the front desk.

Firewood

Firewood is always available for purchase in the store. You get a nice stack (10-12 pieces) for only $10.00. We will gladly deliver the wood right to your campsite.

Fire Safety

Your campfire is your responsibility. It must not be placed on flat ground and must be extinguished before retiring for the evening. All unattended fires will be extinguished by a KOA representative. Parents are responsible for their child's safety; please do not leave your child unattended at any time and especially around the campfire.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call our campground before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable. Not calling our KOA to cancel/no show will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit. RV & Tent Sites: 7 days cancellation notice is required. Notify our KOA by 4 p.m. 7 days before your scheduled arrival. Camping Cabins: 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify our KOA two weeks before your scheduled arrival. Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with our KOA when making your reservations. Reservations made after these deadlines require non refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits. Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with our KOA for details. No refunds will be made on or after arrival. Early departures will not be refunded at any time.

EV Charging

We currently do not permit charging of Electric Vehicles at our campground as we are not set up for charging capabilities yet. Plugging your EV on a traditional 30/50 amp campground pedestal could permanently damage your vehicle and the campground's electrical system. A converter supplied by the manufacturer does not alter the electricity flow and should not be used. We are working on solutions for the future so we thank you for your cooperation.

Meet Your Hosts

Welcome to the Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA!

I'm the campground manager here, and if you ask me why I love this job, the short answer is: where else do you get to mix sunshine, campfires, and great people ?
One minute I'm helping someone back into their site, the next I'm pointing you toward the best local spots, and somewhere in between I'm swapping stories with guests who feel more like old friends than visitors.
I also take pride in making sure everything feels just right—clean, welcoming, and easy—so you can focus on the important stuff: relaxing, exploring, and maybe perfecting your s'mores technique.
At the end of the day, I love what I do because I get to help create a place where good times happen naturally. And if I've done my job right, you'll leave already planning your next trip back.
So kick back, stay awhile, and enjoy everything Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA has to offer— I look forward to hosting you!
