From check in to Frank guiding me as I parked, to the cleanliness, ease of in and out, proximity to amenities... it was great. Just wish it hadn't rained! LOL

We had a great time at Clearwater/Lake Tarpon KOA, the campground was well laid out, we had a site in that back which was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Place was clean lots of shade friendly staff. I was close to front so more road noise from us 19 than my previous stay here but we will deffinetly be back.

We stayed 5 nights. From check-in to check-out, our stay was fantastic! The staff were all very friendly, and worked diligently each day to maintain the park, even in the pouring down rain and on Sunday. All facilities were kept clean, and the landscaping was beautiful. The spaces are very nice. Very dog-friendly. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

All of the other KOA's that we have stayed at, the staff are super friendly and go out of their way for guests, this one not so much. Firewood had to be bagged by us in the store and carried by us to our sites, other KOA's you just tell the store how many bags you want and it's delivered to your site and at $10/bag, much higher than the other KOA's. Onsite table was disgusting!

We apologize for any inconvenience and would have been happy to deliver the wood upon request. A quick phone call and we also would have been happy to clean your table/furniture. Sometimes and not often, guests will leave and the next guests arrive before we get the chance to wipe things down.

Clearwater/Lake Tarpon KOA is a beautiful campground. Although the site are rather close together, the lush tropical vegetation provides privacy.

Our site was a little tight to get into, but otherwise very nice. Location is well kept and clean. The site next to us and a few others were very skinny - barely enough for the camper and a chair. If we had been put on one of these, our rating would be much lower. Landscaping sprinklers should also be adjusted to water the plants, not the underside of an RV slideout (which is not waterproof)

Enjoyed facilities etc but was disappointed I was not given credit at another KOA as I had to leave a day early.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have a no refund policy that is stated on our website and all receipts. Unfortunately we are unable to give credit to other KOA facilities and most are all individually owned if not a corporate campground. We apologize for any inconvenience.

This was our first trip and stay at a KOA. We did not like how you are on top of each other and our table to eat is next to my neighbors dump hose. There where many times the bathroom was filthy and never looked cleaned. Also we both work from the toad and the WiFi at this location was horrible. I ended having to use our hot spots to get work done.

Our sites are a bit close together as our campground was originally constructed in the 1960's. We do have our restroom facilities cleaned 2x a day. As for the wifi, it does become spotty when our park is near capacity and is something we are working on. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Ridiculously tight spot we were in. We couldn’t even extend our awning because of the beast next to us. No more than 1 or 2 nights at most!

Very nicely kept and maintained KOA. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice little touches during our stay, for example, poolside catered lunch, donuts and weekly campfire.

The site was extremely small for starters. $100 a night and we hardly had any room and we’re on a downhill slope. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, hair clogging the shower drains, toilet paper all over the place, children playing and screaming in the bathrooms with no parents around. The people at the site next to us had a dog that barked all day long. We actually left a day early.

We apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. Our sites tend to be smaller due to our original construction in the 1960's. As for the bathrooms, they are cleaned daily and yours is the only review mentioning an issue during your week of stay. Safe travels.

We came in on Saturday before Easter Sunday. They accommodated both my 38 FT Class A and helped me park my 20 FT Car Hauler in another location. Easter Sunday arrived and a site with the patio opened up which was great for us because we had family coming over for Easter dinner. They had no problem at all allowing me to move to the new site (With additional charge)

All of the staff are super friendly and attentive. You always see the staff driving around on golf carts making sure everything is going good at all campsites.The only thing we had an issue with was the internet connection was very weak if we even got one at all.Overall we had a great vacation and we will see ya'll next year!! This KOA was beautiful. The facilities were clean and the grounds were well manicured and beautifully decorated. All of the campers and staff were friendly. Dave, our main staff contact for the week, was very helpful and nice.

good location. The sites are nice sized compared to some others I have been at and the landscaping is gorgeous which makes it more attractive. Overall great experience.

Very nice and very clean campground. You would never know it’s just off of a major highway, and all of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. One of the crew members , Dave, went out of his way to help us while we were locked out during our saty!

Nice amenities. Would recommend you request a site away from the road. Loud traffic and frequent emergency service vehicles going by. Would definitely stay again.

The trees and gardens are beautiful. Our site was clean but the fenced dog area was a disappointment. It was smaller than I thought it would be and the waste can was half full and smelled. The Camp K9 was not cared for. The ground was dirty and the automatic waterer was moldy. That did get cleaned but the wast was not emptied.

Absolutely love this campground the grounds are beautiful! It would be nice if we had the same cable tv as is in the rec room. The staff is great can’t wait to return next year.

We absolutely loved our time at this campground! The foliage and landscaping are beautiful! I would recommend upgrading the wifi and cable tv and also enforcing the pool limit for people.

Visit again: Yes! Campground Vibe: Adult resort/relaxing feel. Lush greenery, tall mature trees, nice layout, not a parking lot. Gravel sites with outdoor picnic table. Total surprise of an island vide campground despite awful crazy huge city traffic just a few yards away. Felt safe: yes Site condition: long no matter which site you are assigned. Spacing between sites: very generous. each rig was tucked into their own garden spot. Views: mostly of lush greenery, butterflies outside our windows. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: Sewer drainage has perfect slope. Noise: very quiet despite being yards from US 19 crazy busy non-stop traffic. Staff: very kind & helpful. GPS accurate: Yes & large visible sign. Reason for visit: vacation. Start of our winter vacation that took us from Florida to Tucson. Things to do: Honeymoon Beach was a perfect retreat. $8 entry fee you have several beaches to pick. Easy parking, walking , blue water, white sand beaches. Bring a picnic. When the ranger saw I had a walking boot from breaking a bone in my foot, he offered a wheel chair. Impressive and so sweet.

Very clean and well maintained. Clean restrooms and showers. Rather expensive. I asked to make reservations for a year from now. Answer was there were 99 people ahead of me.
