Our first visit to the Clearwater/Lake Tarpon KOA. And it will not be our last as we have booked to return next year. This is our first year travelling with our 5th Wheel. C/LT KOA is a beautiful site. Staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant. Amenities are clean and property well maintained. Great location. Thanks to Dave, Don, Brielle and Nika. Always pleasant.

We'll be back next year! Campground is centrally located in a great area with lots to do. Only negatives are that you can hear traffic and sirens on busy Rte 19 if your site is near the front of the campground and, while beautifully landscaped, some of the shrubs could be trimmed to allow for easier campsite set up (especially with so many units having multiple slides now).

Love this KOA. The campground is clean and the sites are well maintained. However, there was a very foul odor in the women’s room the entire month we were there (Feb 2022).

Sites are bit tight. Fairly well maintained. Roads are tight for big rigs. Overall nice.

Lake tarpon KOA is very nice well organized amazing foliage nice pool. The only problem I had there was the width of our camper spot. We could have our slide out out but then if we attempted to also put out our shade on the opposite side we were quite literally in the foliage, as I said the foliage is very nice but restrictive in having enough room to open both slide out and shade.

Wonderful stay, only problem was on Saturday night we were parked in the front and the noise from the street was terrible. But that wouldn't stop me from coming again.

Cabin was awesome! RV spots are too close together for camping. Loud music was being playing early sunday morning. Staff was extremely friendly.

Great little campground. Everyone is always so friendly!! Excellent location as well. The only slight negative is that the lot we were on was crushed shell, so every time you walk on it you drag it into your coach or car. Not a huge deal tho;) Would definitely recommend this place!!!

Nice campground. Staff were very nice!! Sites were so close together that I could touch my neighbors rig sitting at my table under my awning ( which I couldn’t fully extend out). Very hard to get into and out of from main road and it sounded like a race track at times. Being next to fire station was a drawback as well because of the sirens at all hours.

This was the nicest KOA we've stayed at, by far. GREAT service, good Wi-Fi, all level, large, clean spots. Nice pool, lots of amenities, but the people, especially the gentleman who showed us to our site, were the best!

The cottage we stayed in was quaint, but could have been better cleaned and maintained. Some main items were missing from the kitchen as forks and a spatula. The BBQ hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. There were also no tools to do it myself.

We stayed there for two weeks. The campground grounds and foliage is very well kept. The only downside of this campground it is a drive to anything and everything. The beach requires paid parking and is not easy to get there due to traffic. The campground itself is on the smaller side and seems to be more adult focused. The staff and place were great for our stay.

We stayed here for 5 days for a wedding. This was a great little campground. The sites were level, staff was very friendly, the grounds & facilities were clean, and the seasonal campers were all kind and welcoming. We especially loved the pet friendly site with the built in dog pen. Our two pooches loved it too! This campground is also centrally located near beaches & other activities.

Nice place, except camping spaces WAY to small for the price. No privacy at all. Had hard time backing into site because of narrow road with cars parked close to road.. Also, water pressure was minimal, just trickled out of faucet most if the time. Pool beautiful but very small.. Nicely landscaped.

Visit again: Yes! Campground Vibe: Adult resort/relaxing feel. Lush greenery, tall mature trees, nice layout, not a parking lot. Gravel sites with outdoor picnic table. Total surprise of an island vide campground despite awful crazy huge city traffic just a few yards away. Felt safe: yes Site condition: long no matter which site you are assigned. Spacing between sites: very generous. each rig was tucked into their own garden spot. Views: mostly of lush greenery, butterflies outside our windows. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: Sewer drainage has perfect slope. Noise: very quiet despite being yards from US 19 crazy busy non-stop traffic. Staff: very kind & helpful. GPS accurate: Yes & large visible sign. Reason for visit: vacation. Start of our winter vacation that took us from Florida to Tucson. Things to do: Honeymoon Beach was a perfect retreat. $8 entry fee you have several beaches to pick. Easy parking, walking , blue water, white sand beaches. Bring a picnic. When the ranger saw I had a walking boot from breaking a bone in my foot, he offered a wheel chair. Impressive and so sweet.

Very clean and well maintained. Clean restrooms and showers. Rather expensive. I asked to make reservations for a year from now. Answer was there were 99 people ahead of me.
