very nice campground, beautiful landscaping, nice pool, outdoor games. Bit noisy being close to the road

When we got to the site, someone was still in our assigned spot. My husband went back in the office and we were given a new spotbut it appeared to be much smaller and more difficult to back in. The only other HUGE disappointment was not having any wifi. Our daughter had a summer class and missed valuable time in class d/t not having accessible wifi. Also could not watch TV for 3 days. All else OK.

First trip in our new camper more or less a shakedown run, the site was easy to get into, the pool and bathrooms were very nice and clean. Site itself was well maintained. All in all a great stay, thank you.

Once again, a lovely stay at Lake Tarpon Koa. One thing to note though, their local cable carrier, blocks Fox News Channel most of the time. Was not happy about that and mentioned it to Mary. She wasn't happy either.

It was a pleasant stay, although property owners had new tenants at the house on site that used the pool after hours and were very loud! I was told the "rules" weren't outlined to them. We were very frustrated at night trying to sit outside and watch TV, have to compete with hwy 19 noise & loud people at pool.

This was one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The landscaping was beyond compare. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the dog park and loved the pool. It was close to downtown and the sponge docks. We will definitely return for another stay!

Great smaller camdground! Will definitely come back! Close to the Gulf and public access parks. Facilities are super clean and new! Sites are well landscaped and maintained. Although a bit narrow, the landscaping adds scenery and some privacy for many sites.

First Big Trip with my Travel Trailer, and first time stay at KOA! Overall had a great experience. The only thing I would say is the Table outside our lot was cracked and had moldy water leaking from it- and the bathrooms were always very wet/humid. Everything else was great ! Staff was friendly and helpful !

The people at the campground was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early. I was told it is an old campground but by the looks of it you can't tell. It is very well kept up and very clean and neat. The sights do tend to be small and cozy making it challenging in places for the newer/bigger Class A's and 5th wheelers. Extra parking places for guests help with parking. Nice experience.

We had a wonderful time. This a gorgeous campground. Beautiful landscaping and not feeling like you are in top of your neighbors. The pool area is wonderful as well. My only complaint, if I was to make one, is the bathhouse. While extreme clean, there is no air conditioning or fans to circulate the hot,humid air. I felt like I showered and it defeated my purpose. I was still hot and sweaty.

Resort is beautiful - staff was wonderful. It was a little difficult to navigate our unit (45 foot Class A) to the back of the park but we managed. We would definitely stay here again,

It was fun, we did a stay vacation for this weekend, what we didn't like was it was right by a main road, and when we did our laundry there was no soap around laundry room, and putt putt golf was not open Bec no one knew where the putters were,

We are located directly off of US Hwy 19 N and offer a number of very quiet sites toward the rear of our park. Laundry soap is available for purchase in our store which is located in the clubhouse next to the laundry area.

The KOA is beautiful!! You felt like you were in a tropical jungle. Our space was large and easy to get into...was a back in. Facilities were very clean and nice. The only thing I would even recommend is that they air condition the bathrooms. We liked the campground so much that we came back and stayed two more days on our way back from Disney!!

Just one night, I'm glad it wasn't longer. The spots are way too tight and there's zero privacy. And the sites are not very level even though they appear to be. Too close to a major road to make it cozy. Hate the use of broken shells as a paver. The kids seemed to be enjoying the pool. A few lame things to play with in the "yard". Nice fire pit used by one person, but too close to road. Meh

The site they gave us was so small we couldn't even open our awning, our steps ended at the bottom of bushes. We only have a 26 ft with 1 slide out, not sure how bigger campers would do. There were plenty of open bigger sites so not sure their reasoning on putting us there and the office closed shortly after we arrived so couldn't ask for a bigger site. Bathrooms dirty. We will never go back. Rude

Absolutely the best location and close to beaches. The amenities were usually those found at KOAs, but the quality was superior! Thank you for assisting my family with building summertime memories.

Sites are nice and easy to find. Park appears well maintained. Pool size is quite small compared to the size of the campground.

This was our maiden voyage in our RV. I have fond memories of staying in KOAs as a child with my grandparents and selected a KOA as our destination for our first trip based on that legacy. It did not disappoint - it was convenient, the landscaping was beautiful, the facilities were clean and obviously updated, and the staff was amenable. Thank you for helping to make our first trip a success!

Visit again: Yes! Campground Vibe: Adult resort/relaxing feel. Lush greenery, tall mature trees, nice layout, not a parking lot. Gravel sites with outdoor picnic table. Total surprise of an island vide campground despite awful crazy huge city traffic just a few yards away. Felt safe: yes Site condition: long no matter which site you are assigned. Spacing between sites: very generous. each rig was tucked into their own garden spot. Views: mostly of lush greenery, butterflies outside our windows. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: Sewer drainage has perfect slope. Noise: very quiet despite being yards from US 19 crazy busy non-stop traffic. Staff: very kind & helpful. GPS accurate: Yes & large visible sign. Reason for visit: vacation. Start of our winter vacation that took us from Florida to Tucson. Things to do: Honeymoon Beach was a perfect retreat. $8 entry fee you have several beaches to pick. Easy parking, walking , blue water, white sand beaches. Bring a picnic. When the ranger saw I had a walking boot from breaking a bone in my foot, he offered a wheel chair. Impressive and so sweet.

Very clean and well maintained. Clean restrooms and showers. Rather expensive. I asked to make reservations for a year from now. Answer was there were 99 people ahead of me.
