We purchased a brand new travel trailer from the Camping World store in Port Richey and with the KOA being so close we decided to do a quick "get acquainted" trip to set things up. The site was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, and we would definitely consider it for a staycation or recommendation for folks from out of town.

The stay was very nice. It has been decades since I stayed at a Koa and this brought back lots of memories. The landscaping was beautiful!! And the maintenance guys were very helpful!! Thanks for a great stay!!

Didn't like the crushed shell that covered the sites. It sticks to everything and scratches the floors in the campers. I would rather have sand. At least it can be brushed off.

It was a very nice stay with plenty of sightseeing and stores around. The sponge area is a must see and the food was great. Sights were clean and pretty easy access.

The grounds are clean and well kept. Sites are "cozy". Some more then others. Seems no thought was given to site location. We were in a site that had no room at all. Was fine till a 5th wheel pulled into one side and a class A pulled into the other side. I could almost reach out and touch them! Meanwhile, there were other site of comparable facilities that were left open there. Silly to me.

First time visiting KOA Lake Tarpon camp ground. Very pleased with service, staff is courteous and very friendly. All of the other guests were very friendly also. Love the Kamp K9 park and dog wash area. Location easy to find.

We had a Great stay! The grounds are beautiful And you would never know your right off US-19 . The pool was small but it was beautiful and just right for us! The bathrooms were so clean ! We will be back for sure!

Campground is clean and quiet that's a plus and has beautiful gardens. Down fall it has nothing for children other than a 3 hole mini golf and a small pool. Office/Store is nearly empty compare to other KOA.

Good sites and the staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. The roads and getting into sites was a little tight, making it incredibly hard to back in without your tow vehicle's wheels cutting through the grass/landscaped areas. Our only real gripe was the high heat/humidity in the bathhouse. It was almost unbearable to use the facilities. AC would be sincerely welcomed here!

The Campground is beautiful, but the site that we were put on was very narrow. I have a 40 ft. 5th wheel and it was difficult to back into the site. Once we were on the site, we could not extend our awnings due to trees that were in the way.

Nice, clean well maintained campground. Easy check in and friendly. Only negative I can say is it’s location adjacent to busy highway and traffic noise.

Our stay was short but nice. The young lady in the office was nice and helpful. The pool was not very clean.

A very nice park, but not perfect. The campsites were nice and the pool was great. The dump station was not great because you would be required to block traffic. Since the sites were all full hook ups, its not the big problem it could be. Also not a lot of good spaces to disconnect/connect the toad. Overall, one of the best KOAs we have been in.

Beautiful campsite. Clean, organized and nice. Spots are easy to access and spacious. Bathrooms/showers were very nice and clean. One of the best KOAs we've stayed at across the country.

Heavy gulf rains flooded my site and the one next to it (406 & 407). I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Restaurants in the area are very good, especially Ozona Blue & Dieci Italian Restaurant.

The girl at check in was rude. Asked about something in are told us to Google it. Did that with most everything we asked. When we walked in she did not say hello,or anything friendly. Just said your3e early. Cable TV didn't bring in all the major channels. When we went up another day to ask about it another person in office said. I don't no. It could be. Your front office staff needs some peo

Best KOA we have ever stayed at. Excellent sites and utilities. The landscaping is outstanding. Nicer than staying in a state/national park.

Visit again: Yes! Campground Vibe: Adult resort/relaxing feel. Lush greenery, tall mature trees, nice layout, not a parking lot. Gravel sites with outdoor picnic table. Total surprise of an island vide campground despite awful crazy huge city traffic just a few yards away. Felt safe: yes Site condition: long no matter which site you are assigned. Spacing between sites: very generous. each rig was tucked into their own garden spot. Views: mostly of lush greenery, butterflies outside our windows. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: Sewer drainage has perfect slope. Noise: very quiet despite being yards from US 19 crazy busy non-stop traffic. Staff: very kind & helpful. GPS accurate: Yes & large visible sign. Reason for visit: vacation. Start of our winter vacation that took us from Florida to Tucson. Things to do: Honeymoon Beach was a perfect retreat. $8 entry fee you have several beaches to pick. Easy parking, walking , blue water, white sand beaches. Bring a picnic. When the ranger saw I had a walking boot from breaking a bone in my foot, he offered a wheel chair. Impressive and so sweet.

Very clean and well maintained. Clean restrooms and showers. Rather expensive. I asked to make reservations for a year from now. Answer was there were 99 people ahead of me.
