Great park for families with children. Cable did it work and the pool was closed. However the children’s water park was open. Laundry facilities were limited because the employees used the machines and therefore guest had to wait.

Pool was slimy, cloudy and you couldn’t see your feet. Water in the splash park was ice cold. They closed the pool over an hour early first night we were there without warning. Washer and dryers were either out of order or did not work properly we had to find a laundromat to finish our laundry.

When we checked in, we were told that the water park was closed due to chemical issues … due to an average of 800 people a day using the water park, it was overwhelmed and had to be shut down. No discounts on the space or consideration. They allow general public to use the water park by paying a fee. So anyone can use it, but RVers get stuck with paying full price and can’t use it. Not right.

Love the park and the employees but the highway noise was pretty obnoxious. Wish the city would install a noise wall for the park.

Location was great. Sites were a good size w/ full hook ups. It was very noisy being next to the freeway. Workers were not very friendly except for the girl who checked us in and our escort to our site. We would say hi to the people on the golf cart but we’re rarely acknowledged.

The campground was nice and well organized with lots of activities for the kids. However, there are not nearly enough showers and toilets for campground of this size. I think there were only 3 toilets in the campground for men. I saw some very distressed individuals waiting in line for a toilet. especially in the remote facility.

Very efficient check in to the park. Clean facilities and a variety of things to do and several events that allow you to participate with other campers.

You have a one really grumpy guy. Not friendly at all. Pool was dirty. Cable didn’t work.

Was there 2 years ago, great time. Kids loved the splash pool & adults relaxed in hot tub. This time hot tub was closed & splash pool didn’t work.

A bit cramped to our liking. Spots are short pull-thru’s. Lots of fun activities for kids. Plus warm swimming pool and “chilly” splash pad with great water slides. Open fire pits for roasting marshmallows. Great stay for families

they are making so much money that it makes no sense to have nicer bathrooms and fix the toilets/doors/floors and child's urinal, gross. pool was crowded (understandable, a lot of kids), however looked really dirty. ten stars for the maintenance staff and outdoor kitchen...indoor staff, not so much. we stay in a lot of KOA's and this is the first time to write a bad review. way overpriced!!!

This is KOA is right next to a very busy freeway and the road noise is constant. We were as far away as we could be and the road noise was bad. If you have kids, it has a great pool and activities every hour. Kids are everywhere; on bikes, golf carts and running around. So if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is not it. If you have kids and want to play, this is the place.

Very nice KOA with a niche for all who bring their children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Extremely professional and helpful staff. But, the freeway/road noise was the determining factor to hold back on 5 star rating. But, great location for touring the area of Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and some old towns charm and style!

Little pricey for the site but the stay was great. Didn't get much time to take advantage of what the park offered. We will come back.

I wanted to do a couple loads of laundry on 7/9/21 around 2:00 pm. Imagine my frustration when all the washers and dryers are full of sheets and blankets from the staff doing the laundry from the cabins! I managed to snag 1 washer and then 1 dryer but it took me twice as long as it should have to do my laundry. Invest in a commercial set for your use only! Or don't say you have this amenity.

Most everything was fine until we requested to extend our stay one day after a 4-day stay. They made us leave the park for one hour and park at a gas station so someone could “inspect” the site we would be moving to. So a family of 4 had to pack up, hitch up, leave the park and stay at a local gas station for an hour, and then come back and check in. Stupid. Stupid. No consideration at all.

The GOOD: Pool is outstanding. Staff outstanding. Location easy to access, but Fountain CO is NOT a vacation destination. Many 5 Star venues within short drive: Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Flying W Ranch, etc. BAD: I-25 road NOISE 24/7. WiFi NEVER connected with internet. Campground patrons have NO respect for others. Definitely the Walmart crowd of RVing. NOT a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly. Sites were nice but our site needed grass in the picnic table area. We would stay there again.

Great campground! This is such a great place to stay in if you are visiting Colorado Springs or Manitou Springs. Wish we could've gotten to add an extra day to our stay.

Great concept for the campground! VERY Disappointed in the cleanliness and activities. The pool area was very busy (and not always with people staying at the campground). You could not see the bottom of the pool. Activities were not posted like we were told at check in and one day there were no activities due to a private event. L

My wife and I stayed at this location one night on our way from AZ to MN. Registration was easy and each staff person I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Our campsite was clean and level. We were pleased with our stay. All the amenities for families and children made this the most expensive campground we have stayed in, but we were in the area to visit a friend and this campground was available.

Very welcoming reception, nice team members. Campsite felt safe. Past that, the pool was dirty and water was murky. Bathrooms, we rundown. For a large campground, there were a total of 5 washers, one of which was broken, and to make it even harder to get space, the KOA staff use the same laundry as the campers for their housekeeping use rather than having separate sets.

Staff was extremely friendly!! When we first got there a storm had just started so the pool was closed, definitely not their fault but the next morning it was closed because of the balances. Started in our cabin till the storm passed, my son dropped something and it rolled under the bed...gross! I would stay again though because my son had so much fun. The pros out weigh the cons.

We arrived just as the pool closed :0( The place is huge. It is a great place to bring large groups and families. There is alot to do. But it is overwhelming for folks who are just passing through! It felt like a city. It was a shame there was no access to the river for the dogs.

We were charged pet fees for a certified service dog. The bathrooms were disgusting and constantly wet and slippery. The only nice thing were the people running the front desk.

Kids were disappointed when the pool area closed an hour early on our first night. Overall, we had a great stay, I was impressed by how many workers were available throughout the park. Would definitely stay again.

The kids loved the water slides. But unfortunately, the pool was so nasty we didn’t want to stay in there more than 15 minutes. Hair floating, cloudy water and stuff touching our legs who knows what it was…

Very clean and the location for all of our daily adventures was perfect. Our stay was for a week between Christmas and New Years. We were excited to find that the pool was heated and the hot tub was a great bonus as well. Our water froze in our 5th Wheel and the clean showers were nice to have as an option. The only drawback I can say is the traffic noise from the highway however this was minor and I would definitely recommend this KOA.
