Facilities and grounds very clean and well maintained, the fall colors were beautiful in this area and enjoyed the town of cripple creek lots of entertainment and good food.

This is my favorite KOA! It’s set outside of city limits and very quiet. A short drive to anything you’d need. Friendly staff! Clean bathrooms and showers. If you’re in the Cripple Creek/Victor area, this is the place to stay!

Everything was great. Electric was great, water was great, check in was easy. The only problem was that being on a hill, the darn sites are down hill. Meaning that the side you exit your trailer has to be real high to level off. I think the sites could be even better because when your steps are down, that last one is a very long step. Thus making the sites with tables very small and uneven.

This is certainly an issue we're trying to deal with as we can, although given our location there will always be a hill to deal with (which isn't always a bad thing... how bout that sunset?!) Continuing to upgrade sites to patios and add level table pads (at least) to all the rest.

This place is gorgeous!! We originally only booked one night but ended up staying for 3. The staff was super helpful and the grounds were really clean. Will definitely be back here!

Too much commotion in spot 156 Sat night 7 people, 3 vehicles, camper shell on truck only. Why have parking rules if not enforced? They took over the whole area.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that, however we were not aware of the situation when it occurred. We absolutely do enforce the rules. In the future, please let us know and we'll take care of it. Happy to come help any hour of the night. Nothing we can do for you after you're gone.

Well kept and clean office and grounds! We were on the top level and had a wonderful view to the west. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We will be sure to swing by and stay here again!!

We took a long weekend and decided to go somewhere we haven't been in years. We chose Cripple Creek KOA because is was close to the area we wanted to explore. We knew from pictures that it didn't have any trees but it was still very exposed and the sites were a little closer together than we would have liked. The hosts were great and the views (through the smoke!) were beautiful.

Wow, what a super nice kampground you have! Great facilities, nice RV spaces, plenty of room and great views. No need for shade trees at 10000 feet, they would just block the view. We really loved the hike right out back of the kampground. It was about 1.25 mi up and had amazing views from the top. What a great stay! We’ll be back next year!

Sometimes camping in the trees is nice, but we agree that on our mountainside they would block the view. Thanks for camping with us, and so glad you enjoyed what we have to offer!

Always a great place to stay. Wished the other campers would have kept their front LED lights off so we could enjoy the dark and quiet. We were told we would be contacted about staying another night was available and was never contacted. Other than that hard a nice time.

We enjoyed our time at the Cripple Creek KOA. It was a very nice place to camp. They have a very friendly and helpful staff.

Our stay was perfect. The employees were friendly and sincere. Astro was a great park ambassador too. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. Great facilities.

We are normally boondockers, and this was our first stay at a KOA campground. We expected to be crowded together (and we were), but the nice roomy spots, the dog park and the gracious camphosts made us glad we stayed. We will be back!

Everything was fantastic from the minute we drove up. Peg, who guided us to our campsite was incredibly helpful. the two owners were pleasant and extremely helpful as well. the views were beyond belief.everything was immaculately clean. in tis time of Covid, we felt that there was a very manageable number of people, we never felt in danger. we will definitely recommend Cripple Creek.

Wonderful place. Really enjoyed the new patio feature. Didn't have to set up my own grill and furniture. Just pull in level up and relax.

Very clean and organized,the only issue we have to find where located we drove all the way to Victor and asked where KOA otherwise very good�

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
