Stayed at a cabin this time, as we were unable to get the tow package installed on the new car in time for this trip for aspen viewing. It was great fun, and proves to us that KOA is the best accommodation, whether in your camper, your tent, or THEIR cabin! We had a great get-away!

The cabin was very sparse, wifi was down staff very nice. I would not stay there again.

Sorry for the wifi outage, but sometimes systems go down and takes longer to get equipment up here. If you prefer less sparse accommodations, perhaps you should book a Deluxe Cabin or stay in a hotel? When you book a Primitive Camping Cabin, that's what you get. Unreasonable to expect otherwise.

This is my 3rd stay at Cripple Creek. Twice in my camper and this time opted for one of the deluxe cabins. It was spotless and well appointed. Incredible views and incredible owners (which is why I keep coming back). I brought my sister so she could understand my love of this campground and area. She gets it! Can’t wait to come back again next year!

The stay was great and the campground was as nice as any we have stayed at. Just want to add that the staff and owners went above and beyond normal expectations of service. The campground was very clean and well maintained. We had an emergency which caused us to leave early, staff and management were extremely helpful and kind. I will stay again and tell all my camp friends to use this capground.

Great facility and amenities. We loved the view. Also enjoyed hiking the trail up the mountain behind the campground. Awesome customer service. We used the grill that is available for camper use. Would definitely stay again.

We as a family have come here off and on for over 15 years. Our kids have practically grown up visiting Cripple Creek (and other excellent Colorado KOAs). Now that we’re empty-nesters, we have no plans of retiring from staying as often as we can. Each location (especially Cripple Creek) has continued to improve in terms of customer service and campground amenities. We’re die-hard fans.

Loved the setting, the cabin, the overall cleanliness and friendliness. One thing was perplexing, though. The map indicated a hiking trail at the top of the property, but as soon as we got to the trail we were met with a "No Trespassing" sign. Please clarify.

The trail out our back gate cuts the corner of private property but then is on BLM land the rest of the way up to the knob. Our neighbors are fine with campers crossing their property and they've added "Please stay on the trail" to the bottom of their sign.

Deric and Terri made it a wonderful vacation. They are so friendly and accommodating. You can't find better hosts. The camp site is beautiful, well maintained and relaxing. Cabins are spotless, and provide all your needs. Best camp site!!!

Everything about our stay was good except one night there was a camper playing music very loudly, he turned it off after several neighbors complained to him.

My Son and I went up to Cripple Creek for a quick get away before he started school. We had our Dog in tow as well. Our stay was far too short (only 2 nights). The CCKOA facilities were very clean, tidy, and well maintained. The dog park was also a source of amusement and exercise for the dog and a great way to meet other campers. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to be back.

We enjoyed a peaceful relaxing vacation with splendid views, very clean facilities, friendly staff, and a great dog park! We chose to come to Colorado for our 10 year anniversary and this was the perfect place for us to get away for our celebration. We wished we had the ability to stay longer and most certainly will come back. This is definitely a little slice of heaven!!

I arrived having not made a reservation (and I thought I had). Yet the staff put me in a kabin in short order even though I arrived early. I was provided with numerous places we could visit and in the process had a nice dinner as well as a good breakfast at local places in Cripple Creek and Victor. I would return!

The cabin was probably the cleanest we've stayed in in nearly 14 years, thanks. The owners have improved the campground a lot since we've been going there. Activities for the younger kids would be nice, since Cripple Creek doesn't have much for them to do. Very quiet, bathrooms need a little more attention, but people are messy and don't clean up after themselves. Nice place to escape the heat.

Sorry the bathroom was not spotless when you used it. Cleanliness is our top priority for all aspects of our operation. We clean the bathrooms daily and check them often, so hoping your experience was just a matter of timing. Glad you found your cabin to be spotless and were able to enjoy the cool!

The staff was amazing! It was a beautiful ride on the motorcycle getting there as well. Stayed in a cabin. It was clean, well maintained, and just about perfect! The showers, bathrooms and laundry rooms were als great, and the store was the best stocked with items you need of any KOA I have been to so far�ϸ�ϸ�ϸ�ϸ�ϸ!!!

Such a beautiful place to stay! The facilities are very well maintained, the sites are kept up and clean, and the amenities were all in ideal condition. The staff was all very pleasant and well informed of the goings on around Cripple Creek, which made my little trip an absolute blast. The campground locale is so perfect for a little getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back to this KOA.

A beautiful place , perfect for adults and kids. Very nice and accommodating, the lady in office was very helpful and Friendly. The cabin was clean and cozy . Would stay here again and recommend to others.

The KOA camp is attractive, in a great location, clean, and well maintained. Owners are friendly and hard working! The lady who cleaned our room was super sweet (Used to live in Texas).

The cabins have a beautiful view. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The futon isn't as comfortable as we had wished. Other than that it was a great stay. We had everything we needed in the cabin. It was very quiet. Great place and great people!!!

I like my cabin it was in the right spot, Electric plugs were a little bit scary, because they would get really hot and brown liquid come out of the plugs. So that made it a little scary to keep it plugged in for the night time when it would get really cold. I would like to see for the breakfast time that you would go back to paper plates and paper cups. (Had nice stay)

Very clean and well organized. Most staff were friendly. Their communication with each other about coffee expectations was not thought out, and different messages were given about getting free coffee at the pancake breakfast. One staff member was upset that we did so, but another one offered us free coffee from there. A sign saying if you just want coffee, please get it inside would be helpful.

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
