The campground had a ver nice lay out and was well equipped with fun things to do for the kids. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a pool but hey you’re in the Colorado Rockies! We were in a single room cabin and it was very nice able to accommodate 4 people. Thank you for a nice stay.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, and happy you were here during the 4 days this season a pool would be used. :) Two days after you checked out we had 7 inches of snow and 48 hours straight of below freezing temps.

Another great stay at the Cripple Creek KOA. Really enjoyed the patio site and the staff was friendly and helpful, as usual! We'll be back.

Really enjoyed our stay, and will come again. Quiet hours and the fire ban was enforced. Didn’t check the store and showers due to Covid-19, however I am confident they are good. Sites are a little close, but overall very pleased

The best Koa I've stayed at! I tent and there is a canopy over the picnic table along with a shelf to put your stove and food on. Washing dishes was so nice in a separate area with 2 sinks, dish/hand soaps and scrubber. Staff super nice. Nice gravel tent areas.

Super friendly, wore their masks, best site, lovely weather, clean bathrooms. Love this place. Just don’t like I -25 traffic getting there. Worth it!

Worried we would be tent camping beside the road but the primitive spots were great! Clean bathrooms...friendly staff. Only negative is the late check-in time. You lose a day that you could be relaxing and at the price per night, it would be great to have more time. Especially since it has such an early checkout!

This is the third year we've stayed at the Cripple Creek KOA and we keep coming back not only because of the beautiful views and campground, but the friendly staff, clean facilities and relaxation make this one of our favorites. Thank you!

We had a great site,the dog park was close. The employee's were great and helpful. The showers were out _____ standing,best we have ever been to and we have been conserving water. The only downside is y'all have to truck in water. Y'all need to dig a well. Thx T.K. and Danielle Moore

We like the Cripple Creek KOA. The staff was friendly and it had great view of the valley. The only problem was the elevation got to my wife and we had to leave a day early. I was please that the staff refunded our money for the second night we had booked.

We enjoyed the mid week visit. Lots of hiking and things to see. Loved the fresh spring water just up the road. Loved the views. All was clean and everyone very friendly!

Very nice experience. We only stayed one evening but had a pleasant stay. The surrounding views were great and the campground was very tidy. The sites are tight for bigger units but manageable.

This is the most friendly KOA that I have stayed at. For years I wrote off KOAs because of several bad experiences across the country. Generally, it seemed like the staff at those KOAs were offended that you were there in their personal campground. KOA at cripple creek is not like that. The owners are very friendly, accommodating, and just pleasant people to interact with.

So sad that you've had multiple negative experiences. Most KOAs are independently owned so it is up to those individuals to make your stay GREAT. We consider our campers as guests in our home (not too hard since we live here) and wouldn't treat you any other way. Thanks for the kind words!

Nice park. Hated the drive up the mountain and not anything mar except casinos. Great for those who enjoy hiking and scenery was beautiful. Staff was very friendly.

Glad you enjoyed our park and the outdoor activities. I have to disagree on your assessment of Cripple Creek. There is some very rich gold mining history to be experienced, although you do have to seek it out.

We enjoyed our stay at CC KOA, it was very relaxing. It was very peaceful being far off the road as it is. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The store was nice and the prices were reasonable. Being dog people we liked the large dog park and the trails allowed for longer dog walks. The close proximity to Cripple Creek and Victor made visits there easy. Would definitely stay again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also they adhered to COVID regulations and were masked. Enjoyed the campsite very clean and beautiful surroundings with the mountains and trees as a backdrop

It was an great time. The campground was very accommodating and managed to put our campsite next to our friends and allowed us to stay a bit late to take our kids fishing! The showers and restrooms were very clean and the staff in the store was very friendly and helpful.

Cripple Creek KOA is a nice location, nearby, but not too far from the town of Cripple Creek. While there isn't tree coverage for the RV area, the facilities are well kept and the owners are very nice. We had a good time and would recommend this to our friends.

Its an easy to find, clean, and well maintained property. Our deluxe cabin for the weekend was incredibly clean, stocked with everything we could've needed, had a stunning unobstructed view, and was even set up for two in the bathroom with toiletries. It was a better experience than we've had at any 5-star hotel we've stayed in. Will definitely return and tell everyone we know how awesome it was.

Terry and her husband were great hosts. They have worked hard fixing the place up. Their efforts show as the place is beautiful.

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
