It is a gorgeous campground. Well kept. The folks there are very friendly and helpful. We stay every fall for a couple of days and always have a nice stay.

The campground brochure/map states please rate us on things we can control. I felt some of the staff could have been more friendly and outgoing. The campground is well taken care of. Great views all around. What bothered me the most was a political flag on a 16' pole at a site. I'm all for flying the American Flag anywhere but I feel expressing your views should be kept to campfire conversation.

Thanks for the review, Chuck! We do our best to welcome our guests with warmth and cheer and I'm sorry you didn't feel that way. As for political views, as long as our guests aren't promoting hatred or bigotry, we feel it is important to respect each individual's opinion, whether we agree or not.

Loved it! The sites were clean, the restrooms were clean, the dog park was LARGE, there were things for the kids to do. Most of all, the staff was so sweet to us! We had a little one that wasn't feeling well and they went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed to make her comfortable. This is the cleanest KOA we have stayed at so far. We will definitely be back! The view was perfect!

The stay was great and the campground was as nice as any we have stayed at. Just want to add that the staff and owners went above and beyond normal expectations of service. The campground was very clean and well maintained. We had an emergency which caused us to leave early, staff and management were extremely helpful and kind. I will stay again and tell all my camp friends to use this capground.

The nicest views of any KOA. The spaces are kind of tight and not quite long enough for big rigs.

Thanks, Jim! Our sites are all about 60'x30', so while we can accommodate most rigs, it is tight getting in and out. We've found that parking your tow vehicle at one of the alternate spots is best so you have more room to enjoy your camping site.

One of the best! Very clean, very quiet, restful & scenic. This is the kind of place you want to stay at at least annually. We will definitely be back!!

Great facility and amenities. We loved the view. Also enjoyed hiking the trail up the mountain behind the campground. Awesome customer service. We used the grill that is available for camper use. Would definitely stay again.

We as a family have come here off and on for over 15 years. Our kids have practically grown up visiting Cripple Creek (and other excellent Colorado KOAs). Now that we’re empty-nesters, we have no plans of retiring from staying as often as we can. Each location (especially Cripple Creek) has continued to improve in terms of customer service and campground amenities. We’re die-hard fans.

Loved the patio and grill. Will always book that going forward. Only issue was the sewer drain was uphill.. Made it a bit hard to drain fully and we had a 10 hour drive that next day so wanted as empty as possible. Office staff were awesome!

The campground is well kept, the staff is friendly and helpful and it is quiet with beautiful surroundings. What more can you ask for? One of my favorite KOAs.

Can’t say enough about this campground, everything was excellent. The view spectacular, the people friendly, solid wifi, clean and efficient laundry facilities. We didn’t use it, but I really liked the camp kitchen.

We had a great time this Labor Day meeting family at the Cripple Creek KOA. Our campsite was so nice and clean. The check in is easy and the staff is very friendly. We always enjoy our time up there.

Absolutely amazing! Views are beautiful, plenty of amenities in the store and very well kept. Owners and staff are friendly and available keeping the camp nice and clean. So many things to do with kids nearby. Will be booking again for next year!!

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
