Really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic, scenic location close to Cripple Creek and Divide. Great friendly staff and owners on property. Clean and well maintained facilities. Fun playgrounds and hiking right off the property. Only difficulty is that spots are very close together and not very level and driveways are tight. We definitely plan to stay again when we are in the area.

Glad you enjoyed your stay James and looking forward to your return! Our roads are narrow, but navigable... just drive carefully. Our sites are all about 30'x60' with level parking pads 12'-15' wide. Trick is to park as far left as you can to avoid the beginning of the slope on the right.

We enjoyed a peaceful relaxing vacation with splendid views, very clean facilities, friendly staff, and a great dog park! We chose to come to Colorado for our 10 year anniversary and this was the perfect place for us to get away for our celebration. We wished we had the ability to stay longer and most certainly will come back. This is definitely a little slice of heaven!!

Friendly owners and staff. Very clean and organized. Doggie park for the dogs. Two playgrounds for kids. You can rent pedal Go Karts. Cute little store that sells ice, propane and other goodies. They even had a pancake breakfast during our stay. Can’t wait to go back.

Very nice park. Clean grounds and facilities. Beautiful views. Check in at 2:00PM is strictly enforced so don’t arrive early.

Cripple Creek KOA was definitely one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Extremely kept grounds! Beautiful scenery! Quiet! Plenty of room between sites. Relatively short driving distance to a lot of things to do! Would definitely recommend!

The lawn mower could have been more careful and considerate.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, Robert! We try to be careful on lawn equipment during the season and try to avoid occupied sites. With the wet summer we've had, it has been difficult so we may have come close. I will revisit with our crew.

Great location close to Cripplecreek and Victor Colorado. Campsite was clean office was well organized and the staff was very helpful. Even offered to pick up empty LP tanks fill them and deliver them back campsite

I enjoyed the location, the view, an individual shower, and other top notch facilities. The wifi was fast, even at my remote site. Kelly was knowledgeable and professional - a true delight to work with. The Cripple Creek KOA is at the top of my list for travel in the area.

Great KOA with beautiful views! The downside was our site. It was on a slope. Very friendly staff. Sites were a bit close together

We are built on the side of a hill, so although RV parking pads are level, many of the yards are sloped. The slope does help give everyone a view though. Thanks for staying with us!

I arrived having not made a reservation (and I thought I had). Yet the staff put me in a kabin in short order even though I arrived early. I was provided with numerous places we could visit and in the process had a nice dinner as well as a good breakfast at local places in Cripple Creek and Victor. I would return!

I love this place! We were in a full hookup preferred site so we were in the last row of the RV sites. It was very nice and quiet. There was a forest behind us. The campground was gorgeous and our pups enjoyed the dog area. It was very spacious, clean, and I felt that they were secure. The laundry area was great. My favorite was the covered porch with the hummingbirds. Can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic time. We had a patio site and it was just lovely. The campground itself is in a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had no trouble getting our RV and trailered car in our spot. I can't wait to go back!

The roads are between sites are extremely narrow and the sites are quite small. Make sure to bring leveling blocks. This campsite is not big rig friendly. If you are not good at towing and negotiating tight spaces do not book. The staff were very friendly, the view is moderate to good. Cripple creek and other mining towns are close by for stuff to do.

Thanks for the review, Jeremy. Our sites are all about 30'x60'. Some folks do find the roads narrow, but we have had plenty of very large rigs in and out without a problem.

The cabin was probably the cleanest we've stayed in in nearly 14 years, thanks. The owners have improved the campground a lot since we've been going there. Activities for the younger kids would be nice, since Cripple Creek doesn't have much for them to do. Very quiet, bathrooms need a little more attention, but people are messy and don't clean up after themselves. Nice place to escape the heat.

Sorry the bathroom was not spotless when you used it. Cleanliness is our top priority for all aspects of our operation. We clean the bathrooms daily and check them often, so hoping your experience was just a matter of timing. Glad you found your cabin to be spotless and were able to enjoy the cool!

We absolutely LOVED our campsite. It was wonderful staying in the Aspens. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Tent site was on a hill. Slipped of our air mattress several times a night. Showers were either really hot or ice cold. We opted to not shower a second time because of this. I found one of the staff members to be rude (female). This is the only KOA that doesn’t give veterans a discount. Sum up my stay… I was cold dirty and tired! Not a good experience at all.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay in a primitive tent site, Sheila. Interesting that you asked for a friends n family discount when you booked, even though we don't know you, then jumped on the veterans discount when you arrived. It is not rude to tell you "no" when we don't offer a discount.

We had a wonderful time at KOA Cripple Creek. The pads were nice, well kept and clean. The playground area was fantastic and my kids loved the train. It was a peaceful getaway, just what we were looking for!

The staff was amazing! It was a beautiful ride on the motorcycle getting there as well. Stayed in a cabin. It was clean, well maintained, and just about perfect! The showers, bathrooms and laundry rooms were als great, and the store was the best stocked with items you need of any KOA I have been to so far�ϸ�ϸ�ϸ�ϸ�ϸ!!!

Everything went pretty well, however the tent site we were assigned had a long drive to it and the trees hung down into the road and scratched my pickup as well as having several stumps over 3" high to drive over. Other than that it was a lovely location, friendly staff and nice amenities.

Extremely well kept by Terri & Deric (Owners) and everyone was so kind and helpful! The staff is conscientious about keeping up the grounds and buildings. I can't say enough great things about this place! It's such a perfect spot in many aspects, from the trailer/camper sites to the showers/bathrooms etc. Didn't need to use the laundry but it appeared well thought out and it was clean!

Great location and a nice clean campground. Close to several quaint mining towns and Pikes Peak. Good laundry, camp store, and bath house. There is a slope to the sites and during rain storms ditches form at the sites. Some were quite deep affecting RV’s leaving their site. Drainage needs to be improved for the roads within the campground.

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
