The staff works very hard to maintain this campground. It is super clean and there is always someone available to help. The view of the mountains is spectacular. This is our second time to stay and we stayed in a cabin this time. The mattress was comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough. We enjoyed our breakfast on the picnic table and watched the chipmunks. Great community kitchen also.

Loved the pancakes Saturday and Sunday, cabin was outstanding. Plenty of things for my little ones to do. Town was close to explore great trails; amazing staff. Perfect getaway for me and the family.

Stayed for two days during the July 4th holiday. Park is kept very clean, and people were respectful of quiet times. Have stayed here multiple times, and will stay again.

This was our second time camping here. We booked a cabin this time. Staff was super helpful. Our firewood was delivered right to our site. The ladies up front were super helpful (Bonnie and Terri). Though it rained it was still a great time. Hope to return next month.

I rented a cabin for one night. The cabin was very clean, the restrooms and showers were very clean and the operators are very friendly. Would definitely stop in again.

We love this little town for its rich history. Nice to be way out in the middle of nowhere so peaceful and quite. Usually stay for a day and a half. This koa has a really great staff.

Great location, great amenities. Camping cabin was situated with good privacy, had 2 rooms and even a small fenced yard for the dog. Kids loved pedal go-carts for rent.

This was our first KOA stay and I was blown away. The facilities were so clean and the staff was so friendly. The presidential award is well deserved at this location. Our cabin was clean, the bed was clean/comfy, & the curtains were a cute/clean touch! You can tell the staff/owners genuinely care. cabin had a fenced in back area and camp k9 was great for our little pup! 10/10 would recommend!

Very nice KOA. Friendly staff, and helpful. Cabin was clean and ready for our check in. How can anyone complain when your under a night sky filled with stars, and a camp fire. Will plan to stay here again soon.

Cannot beat the scenery, 10K ft elevation! Staff was friendly, very nice people. Kabin was as expected. Very clean. They do have pancakes and coffee available in the am. That makes it even more friendly.

cabin and campground were well kept clean and nice. The cabin was spotless and we would love to stay there again but hopefully rent a cabin with an indoor bathroom. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Thank you for making our visit amazing.

Staff were fantastic. Our daughter, son-in-law and twin 3 year olds had just purchased property near this KOA and had their travel trailer parked there. Upon our arrival, they found that mice had attacked their trailer. Thankfully KOA allowed them to stay with us at our Deluxe Cabin. A little tight for a family of six but we made the very best of their bad situation! More grandparent time!!!

Everything was great my only complaint is the beds, they really need to be updated the sheets, and bedding are really old but most of all the mattress was terrible we sank into the middle and had terrible back aches by morning. Other then that it is very nice.

We always enjoy staying at this campground however there was one young lady working in the office that was very unpleasant on multiple occasions.. We are a retired couple, do not drink and/or cause problems and honestly saw no reason for her consistent rudeness!! I feel like she lived above the office. I would recommend getting rid of her and her barking dog as she seemed very unhappy !

Sorry to hear about your experience, but your comment is vague so not sure what the situation is. Terri and I live above the office and we have a puppy-in-training who barks at passing dogs but we do our best to calm him. Will follow up with an email so hopefully can get some actionable feedback.

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
