Great KOA with beautiful views! The downside was our site. It was on a slope. Very friendly staff. Sites were a bit close together

We are built on the side of a hill, so although RV parking pads are level, many of the yards are sloped. The slope does help give everyone a view though. Thanks for staying with us!

I love this place! We were in a full hookup preferred site so we were in the last row of the RV sites. It was very nice and quiet. There was a forest behind us. The campground was gorgeous and our pups enjoyed the dog area. It was very spacious, clean, and I felt that they were secure. The laundry area was great. My favorite was the covered porch with the hummingbirds. Can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic time. We had a patio site and it was just lovely. The campground itself is in a beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had no trouble getting our RV and trailered car in our spot. I can't wait to go back!

The roads are between sites are extremely narrow and the sites are quite small. Make sure to bring leveling blocks. This campsite is not big rig friendly. If you are not good at towing and negotiating tight spaces do not book. The staff were very friendly, the view is moderate to good. Cripple creek and other mining towns are close by for stuff to do.

Thanks for the review, Jeremy. Our sites are all about 30'x60'. Some folks do find the roads narrow, but we have had plenty of very large rigs in and out without a problem.

We had a wonderful time at KOA Cripple Creek. The pads were nice, well kept and clean. The playground area was fantastic and my kids loved the train. It was a peaceful getaway, just what we were looking for!

The hosts do an outstanding job of maintaining the campground and helping any they can. The location of the campground is outstanding no matter what activities you want to participate in.

Extremely well kept by Terri & Deric (Owners) and everyone was so kind and helpful! The staff is conscientious about keeping up the grounds and buildings. I can't say enough great things about this place! It's such a perfect spot in many aspects, from the trailer/camper sites to the showers/bathrooms etc. Didn't need to use the laundry but it appeared well thought out and it was clean!

Great location and a nice clean campground. Close to several quaint mining towns and Pikes Peak. Good laundry, camp store, and bath house. There is a slope to the sites and during rain storms ditches form at the sites. Some were quite deep affecting RV’s leaving their site. Drainage needs to be improved for the roads within the campground.

Nice campground, with very nice staff. Level sites, with good wifi and full hookups. Only drawback is the same as it's biggest plus: Camp is at 10,000 ft. Elevation, so be prepared. Best to acclimate at 6000 ft or more first.

Campsite was great, facilities are super clean. Everyone is friendly. This is not the first time we have stayed here and won’t be the last.

Terri and Derrick ( and their entire staff ) were great hosts! The campsites were clean, level /“and spot on! Facilities were top notch, also. I had a situation where I needed a printer but did not have one. I spoke with owner- Terri. She had me send it to her; she printed it out for me and was most gracious and accommodating about the situation. She turned my lemons into lemonade! Thankf

What a beautiful campground! Best on we’ve been to on our trip. The scenery more than made up for any shortcomings it had. Be prepared for the 10,000 foot altitude and the winding roads but it’s well worth it once you park and get the chairs out. ��������������������

Was wonderful, just what we wanted was beautiful mountain atmosphere and we got it. The whole set up was great and staff was great and very helpful and willing to answer questions. Campground was very well kept and facilities were very well taken care of.

We spent 2 nights at the campgrounds. Everythig was clean and up to date. Showers and bathrooms were very nice and easily accessible. Amenties were available and everything was in working order. Great place off the beaten path.

Except for the uphill all the way, it was very nice. We just stayed for one night, staff was great, sites are a decent size. Facilities are clean and neat.

Check in staff very friendly, beautiful area, grounds people very nice and helpful. Sites are pretty crowded in and pretty unlevel. Beautiful area. Heard of two or three campers that their reservation was messed up and had to move sites which I would NOT have liked. Seems they could have changed sites for ones coming in rather than making ones already settled move. Loved the rain!!

This is one of the best KOAs we have visited! Very well-kept, nice amenities, and staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was in good working order. We will definitely be coming back for another stay in the future!

Awesome place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights it was clean and perfect for camping. The park grounds are open and not much to see but the background is gorgeous and there is a trail leading up the mountain on the trail we found fresh bear marks witch was awesome to see and makes perfect sense why they warn you not to leave out food.

Always a fan of KOA, but this one was especially impressive to us. It is family owned and operated, and it is evident in the upkeep that the family is proud of their business. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate, they were even installing a screen door on it when we checked in, perfect for cool mountain breezes! The campground also has a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen which was a fun experience in itself. I think our kids' favorite however were the pedal carts available for rent. Lastly, keep an eye out on the way up! There are wildlife in the surrounding woods, we saw half a dozen mountain sheep on the way in! 100% intend to return!
