Unique Activities and Recreation at Crossville / I-40 KOA Holiday
Campers can enjoy recreational activities across the Crossville/I-40 KOA Campground. Whether you prefer to spend time in the great outdoors or stay inside, there is plenty for you to enjoy. Spend a relaxing day swimming in the pool, searching for treasure at the gem mine, or fishing in the ponds. You could also engage in friendly competitions with fellow campers while playing gaga ball, volleyball or games in the Game Room. The recreational activities are all within walking distance of any of our campsites. If you want to have fun off the campground, consider exploring the local area's attractions. There are many places for hiking near Crossville, Tennessee, whether you want an easy hike or a more challenging one. You can also have a relaxing trip while walking around the Historic District or visiting one of the many parks in Crossville. Bring along your furry friend who can enjoy our KampK9® dog park and run around during your stay. Who doesn't like to uncover hidden gems and buried treasure? Choose from an assortment of treasure bags from our General Store and head out to the Mining Sluice to see what fossils, rocks, or gems you'll find. It doesn't matter if you've never mined or mined ten times, there is new treasure to uncover every time (seasonal).
Join us on select Saturdays from May - October for tractor-pulled wagon rides around the campground. Fun for campers of all ages!
You and your family can enjoy our heated swimming pool overlooking the Appalachian Mountains. Open daily: Now - October 18, 2026 (weather permitting).
Design your own Tie Dye Shirt during your stay with us and take home a camping souvenir. Offered on select weekends May - October.
Elevate your outdoor fun with some Ladder Toss. Enjoy some friendly competition to see which player's aim and strategy will bring them out on top.
You can fish (catch & release with barbless hooks) for bass, bluegill, and catfish, in either of our two fishing ponds. Live bait and fishing supplies available in the General Store.
Paddle around on the pond or relax by drifting where the water takes you in your own Corcl kayak. Pick your time slot in the General Store (seasonal).
Head out to the wilderness on select weekends in May - October for our Rocket Launch. Design and decorate your own rocket, and have unlimited test flights to see how far you can send it! Rockets for purchase from the General Store.
Come enjoy some family game time in the Game Room. Enjoy a game of pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball or step up the competition with a round of cornhole. Engaging in friendly competitions with your family and friends is an excellent way to pass the time or end the night.
When visiting the "Golf Capital of Tennessee," playing a round of golf is essential. Show off your swing and give it your best shot to make a hole in one — Pond Golf style. Though Pond Golf is not your typical golf, you and your family will enjoy playing it. You can play during select weekends, May - October.
Need your sports fix while enjoying the relaxation of camping? Enjoy some basketball outside our Game Room. You can shoot hoops alone or play a pick-up game or two with your family or other campers.
Grab the family and have a friendly match of volleyball on the activity lawn.
Head back to the activity lawn and enjoy some fast-paced, energetic fun in the Gaga Ball Pit. Play with a bunch of other campers to see who lasts the longest without their legs touching the ball.

Acres of fields, trees and streams all waiting for you to explore. Venture away from the campsites to embark on an easy hike through the woods on the campground. You can experience nature's beauty while walking around and seeing the wildlife.
Kids will love running around the playground and rolling hills at the campground, with plenty of room to explore and use their imagination without traveling too far from your campsite.
A great place to unwind after a long travel day! This is a half mile, gravel trail with a small hill. It offers an easy walk along the forest and down by the creek. You can enjoy the views of the Cumberland Plateau and mountains.
