Cabin was wonderful with exception to the mattress...Kept rolling in the middle. Had to lift myself up to turn while sleeping. I loved the cabin in general with my own bathroom. Just the mattress needs replacing I would suggest.

Sites are so tight and small you cannot put your car on the same site. My trailer is 16 ft plus a short tongue. When I opened my awning, it touched the neighbors camper. This is not a campsite, IT IS A RV PARKING LOT!! Was debating joining KOA, but this experience convinced me not. Even canceled my reservation in Livingston, MT

Very small sites. Campers in the pull through sites are slide out to slide out. Meaning you have to duck your head to even walk around the picnic table. Pool needs work. Owners are nice people. I just feel they shouldn't put two large campers in sites beside each other. Trolley was a great ride into town.

The campsites and cabins up the hill are great but the lower ones are very cramped. The trolley to the downtown was a convenient option...but having a campsite along the trolley's route was really annoying. Once an hour we had to deal with squeaking brakes and loud noises from the trolley. But staff was friendly and the amenities were good.

People were very nice and helpful. This KOA is carved out of the hillside so some of the sites are a little tricky to maneuver. Shuttle to town is great! Nice view!

The spaces were so tight that when we opened our awning it touched the neighbors slide out!!! Koa is notorious for small sites but this was ridiculous! Also other campers had to ask neighbors to move vehicles in order to get their camper in or out.

Very rocky, steep climb to drive to on site RV parking. Disturbing contact by Census bureau at no real fault of site owners.

This was our second year at the Deadwood KOA and we will be back. Don’t hesitate to contact the KOA directly via phone or e-mail if you have any special needs or request as they will certainty go above and beyond to do what they can to meet your needs.

Our stay was good, we met new friends and had a great time over the weekend. The cabins are a bit too close :/ It was very convenient to have the Deadwood Trolly stop at the KOA, only $1 per ride (each way),, and they run late into the evening. We could avoid the issue of very limited parking in town.

We've been coming to the KOA in Deadwood for the last three years. We love it! The homemade breakfasts in the mornings are amazing and staff is super friendly.

We had a great time at Deadwood/black hills KOA!!! They have pleasant and helpful staff, and super clean facilities! Lots of fun things to do in the area with beautiful scenery!!! We will definitely be back!

Camper were up beyond the "quiet time" outlined in the camp rules. Tent area is backed up to the main expressway. Traffic noise all night. Woke up to jackhammer across the street from some maintenance company. Owner said he would refund me my Value Card price of $33 upon checkout. He never has after numerous phone calls and texts.

We stayed a week. The site was awesome. Loved the downtown trolley! Store is fully stocked. Nice laundry. Friendly staff. Good cable and average WiFi. Quiet campground. Would definitely come back.

We have stayed here for the last 19 years for the Sturgis Rally. And other than the expected motorcycles coming in and going out, it is a great place to get away from the action, yet be close enough to all the fabulous sites and rides to take advantage of. We love this KOA and Arni and Debra are great hosts. They care about their return customers and were very gracious hosts. Great spaces for RV.

Beautiful site. Would have preferred if more staff wore masks. A plexiglass window doesn't stop water droplets....just saying. Also may have been wise to stagger the sites more, but people got to make a buck I guess. Profit over people. Sad.

Pool and service was awesome. Location was good and WiFi was good. No cell service but that’s because you are in the Blackhills. Sites are very small and you are on top of your neighbor. No campfires allowed.

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
