The location was good and the owner was friendly and efficient at check-in. However, the sites were extremely close together and we prefer a bit more space.

When I arrived they had my reservation for the previous night and did not have a space for me the night of my actual reservation. I had a confirmation receipt and two emails confirming the correct date! As a result I was put in a small back-in space without the patio I had reserved and paid for! Also the trolley to town which was heavily advertised was not running. I was very disappoint

I could not stay after driving all day my trailer would fit in the lot any were so we had to leave with nowhere to stay. It was 12:00pm when we left we had to drive to Caster

Site ok, difficult to get into and out if other campers there. Made more for motorhomes than trailers. Tv and wifi need serious work.

Very cramped and congested with severe hill to climb to spot. Wi-fi went from good to non existent, causing drop in signal

We had a wonderful site with beautiful views of Devil’s Tower. The campgrounds is kept so clean and neat, and everything is well maintained. At first I thought it was a bit pricey, but after seeing all the amenities and how beautiful it is - well worth the money!

Overall a good experience. The camping sites were very small and hard to maneuver however, the staff was friendly, amenities were good, and the on-site store had last minute things in stock.

We loved this campground. You feel like you're away from it all, but yet you are so close to town. The owners were so helpful and friendly.

The owners are the best! I'm totally new at this KOA/RV thing and everything is a challenge from connections to co-ag cables. They were helpful with everything I threw their way. The location is also wonderful, only 1.5 mi to Deadwood but very quiet with a great pool, hot tub, and shower room. Looking forward to my next stay.

Spaces too close to each other. The dog run was not cleaned the three days we stayed at the campground.

Staff helpful and great. Laundry worked. Great hot tub. Cab service prompt after trolly stops running after Labor Day. Be ready for steep roads between the levels for camping. Probably not for huge units. Good campground!

Campsites were small but cozy and curious. Dana, was very helpful. We like it so much we came back it felt like home.

We had a 35 foot motor home with a car toter and there was no way we could park our unit in the space we had. We had to detach the car toter. I feel this is important for campers to know. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi did not work very well.

The people are friendly and ready to help. They have a nice pool and hot tub area. The spaces are pretty close and the streets are narrow. It is a great location to visit Deadwood and Lead. We did a fun hike to the Devil's Bathtubs area and had a wonderful dinner at the upstairs restaurant over Saloon #10.

Cinnabear my dog hurt his hips, old pup, and they set me up in a great cabin spot with my 19 roadtrek. a couple of ....they ( owners) came up with the solution (s). And the bomb! We only stayed here for 1 night, and didn't disappoint. Location is very easy to get to downtown Deadwood. There was a trolley available which was so convenient. Small campground, but well maintained and clean. The staff was very nice. Would definitely come again.

I would give five stars except for the laundry room situation. Unfortunately the laundry room has very short hours because there’s no access to it except through the office. Understandable. But it would be helpful if staff were not permitted to do laundry during operating hours. Delayed our Departure until after 11. We arrived at the laundry room that morning at 8:30 all units in use by staff

The KOA is just outside of Deadwood on the trolley route. It is a safe campground. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They care that your stay is comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and the pool is great. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
