Friendly staff, helpful at guiding us to what we wanted to see! Quiet hours were not enforced was the only downside, but otherwise enjoyed everything - especially the adult hot tub by the pool!

Very loud, close together - motorcycles started revving their engines at 6 and woke up our son. Bathroom consistently had a line.

We were happy to have a place to stay with a clean laundry facility!! The WIFI connection was very poor with all the need to use it. My husband chose not to shower before we parted on 8/1/20 as he said the shower area wasn’t favorable at least at that time.

The location was beautiful, the cabin was clean and very comfortable, and the town trolley stop was convenient and fun for getting back and forth to town. The bathroom space for everyone to share was way too small and was not kept up or clean at all. Especially with covid, you’ve got to be better about that. I ended up using the bathroom at the visitor center which was way cleaner.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and directions. The showers were clean as well as each site. Will be booking again for next year.

Our stay at Deadwood KOA was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly & our campsite was shaded and nice. We loved the trolly that took us downtown & back for only $2 per person. Plus, their hot tub was very clean & perfect to soak in after our morning coffee. Well done Deadwood KOA!!

Arranged for my parents to stay here. They were disapointed with the lack of maintenance/upkeep. Hazardous broken boards on bathroom porch. The trolley pickup and convenient location to town are about all that draw us here anymore. Campground has fallen into disrepair last few years

Service was excellent. The biggest problem was kids had to be 16 to be in hot tub and after driving all day my son and I wanted to sit in hot tub. Sites are really packed in. Everything was very clean and staff was willing to go out of their way to help.

The hosts could of been a little nicer. Both the pool and the hot tub were filthy. They should close both of them down and clean the dirt off the bottom and scrub the sides!

Great stay! Check in was easy and Arnie at the desk was very friendly. The cabin was recently Cleaned, smelled a little of pine sold which was reassuring. We were looking to buy a cribbage board which they did not sell and Arnie had a very nice board to loan us. Cabin was bigger than we expected with a separate bedroom and living room. The little tv was appreciated by our daughter. WiFi was handy.

Staff/hosts and the view were the best part of the stay. Our cabin was a disaster. We stayed in cabin no.1 by the trolley pickup. The cabin had mushy floors by the air conditioner, windows & the toilet. If you sat on the toilet, you felt like you were going to fall through the floor. We also leaned toward the road and felt unsafe, especially if a big gust of wind was to hit us during a storm.

Pool is nice and well kept. Hot tub wasn't full. Game room is misleading - it's just some board games and puzzles. Bathrooms are good but the upper ones could stand to be cleaned more than once per day with as many tent / cabin people use them up there. Lower bathrooms are nice and not used as much with almost all campers / RVs parked down there.

Great little KOA for smaller RVs. Not for big trailers. We have a 29' bumper pull with slide and had to park on picnic area pavement in order to get in and open slide. Then we had to have neighbor move vehicle to get out. The staff is friendly and the amenities are great. Loved the trolly to take us to town.

I stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was very nice. Clean and welcoming. Owners were helpful and hospitable. I will stay again.

The wildflowers blooming around and in the campground were beautiful! I wish they had individual fire pits for campers but with the fire danger, I understand why they don't. Overall, good stay.

We stayed in cabin #7 and it was wonderful! The only thing we would have liked was to have a fire at our site. It was too far down the hill at night for the community fire pit. Others around us in the hill were having fires, not sure if they brought a little grill? Some of the rv spots had propane for pits, would have been nice to have that option. Bathroom facilities by the office were great!

It was great to have a place where our family of 6 could all be together. When you think of the cost of food and 2 hotels rooms for a family our size, the cabin is the best bang for your buck. Making french toast while admiring the beautiful view from the deck was a bucket list momemt that I didn't know I wanted till it happened.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting Deadwood. Hourly shuttle to Main St. They installed upgraded Wi-Fi while we were there. Clean. Nice, helpful staff. We will return.

The owners were very polite and helpful with information on things in deadwood in the area as far as cleanliness goes I would rate it as a 10 the bathrooms are unbelievably clean showers heat lamps the pool aNdJacuzzi everything was Spectacular

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
