Very good customer service and location to deadwood. Overall campground was dated and not well kept. Pool area was infested with ants.

Nice campground With an authentic mining town feel - clean and friendly, super friendly hosts. Amazing that it’s built into the hillside!

the staff was great and the cabins we had also great only thing that needs work is pool area needs some tlc because it had ant's all over and my grandson hates them so her didn't have fun in the pool area! also the internet needs to updates because it was very bad unless you went down to the office area but overall was a great stay and will be going back next year

We had a wonderful weeks stay at the Deadwood Koa Arni & Debra the owners were very accomodatin and very hospitalable. The place is kept so nice and very quiet at night even though the campspots were close together everyone respected each other site. Thank you so much again Arni & Debra. George & Lynn Venezia. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds were not well maintained...trimming was definitely needed...soap dispenser in men’s bathroom didn’t work for more than a day. One faucet in the men’s bathroom only worked intermittently. We will look at other KOAs in the area before we will return to this one.

Good for an overnight stay. Simple and small campground near deadwood. Spaces are pretty narrow.

Overall it was a great stay! Sites were a little tight and we were worried about being able to get out the next morning. We only have a 20’ travel trailer and crew cab with a long box and we had to back into another spot in order to get out. Bathrooms/shower rooms were nice and rustic. Downfalls, bathrooms too HOT! Needs air flow. Sewer stem too high for clean outs.

The facility and people were great. Our only issue was the location of the tent sights might as well have been on the side of the highway given the noise from the road.

Very nice RV Campground. Was disappointed in the town. To commercialized. Hotels everywhere. I guess that is the way it is everywhere. But again KOA was great

Wonderful stay! We were sorry that we didn't allow ourselves more time to enjoy everything Deadwood has to offer which means another road trip is in store for us!

Nice location, nice park. The bathhouse needs some serious work. Tile is coming up, wood is rotting not the cleanest. We stayed here several years ago, was much nicer.

In a beautiful area. Great location especially to Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. No fire pits. Camp spots are very small And tight. Have no idea how a tent would fit in some spots. Not our most favorite KOA on our trip but it worked just fine for the night.

Tent site (40) was way too close to the other tent sites (thankfully no one was there that night). Otherwise it was a pleasant campground.

Not great. Sleeping in a tent was no fun. They had tent sites right next to the playground- loud! Bright lights from the facility were on all night. Dirty restrooms - gross!

The natural environment and location was the best of our road trip. It’s woods setting and well kept cabins were the highlights. Very few bathroom stalls, with no ventilation for the shower humidity, made for an uncomfortable experience. Our stay was however very enjoyable due to the cabin site we were assigned. Cabin 11 is secluded, private and very clean at the end of a lane. Highly recommend.

Check in was quick and pleasant. Really enjoyed my stay in the cabin. Liked the deck and outside furniture. Hope to return in a year or two.

We tent camped at this location for 2 nights and had a great experience. Bathroom/showers were clean and our camping spot had sufficient space for us to be comfortable. I was appreciative of the quiet nights and the fact that there wasn't a lot of lighting in our area. This allowed us to see all the fireflies in the area - pleasant surprise!

The people were awesome. Very clean and well kept. The spaces are extremely close. A fellow camper pulled into my awning because the spaces are so close. Everyone spoke of that concern. Very tight. Laundry area was clean and nice. Pool and hot tub area was nice. Owner/manager extremely nice and kept the place clean. Just be sure you can pull up hill, and get into tight places.

Great hosts and very clean site. Very close spots and that’s on us for not doing the research. If your ok being able to touch your and your neighbors trailer, it’s a great spot to set up. Just not what we are in on.

Everything was great! The only problem was when the attendant was extremely rude and then turned the pool light off as we were trying to leave. Patience would have been nice.

Nice place and friendly people., Had pizza delivery! Spaces were a little close, but we made it in. Interesting, seemed like a big chunk of the mountain was removed and the KOA put in!

We have stayed here before but seem to be going down hill. Maintenance is very lacking, the wooden boards/porch in front of the bathroom lifting cracked and literally a place a foot can fall through but no barricade or attempts to fix. Very dangerous and disappointing! Also there is a hole in women's bathroom wall that was there last year, things are just becoming disrepaired and dilapidated.

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
